Ingredients
For the lamb filling
- lamb
500 grams
- onion
1 medium
For the apricot stuffing
- apricots
16 whole
- barberries
100 grams
Spices and seasonings
- cumin
a pinch
- cinnamon
a pinch
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This will ensure it's hot and ready for when you need to cook your stuffed apricots. Make sure you have a rack in the middle of the oven for even cooking.
- 2
Prepare the lamb filling by cooking the lamb and onion in a pan.
In a large pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until it's translucent. Then add the lamb, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until it's no longer pink. Season with cumin and cinnamon.
- 3
Prepare the apricots for stuffing.
Cut the apricots in half and remove the pit. Be careful not to tear the fruit. You want to create a cavity that can be filled with the lamb mixture.
- 4
Stuff each apricot half with the lamb mixture and top with barberries.
Divide the lamb filling among the apricot halves, spooning it into the cavity of each apricot. Then, top each filled apricot with a few barberries. The sweetness of the apricots and the tartness of the barberries will complement the savory lamb perfectly.
- 5
Place the stuffed apricots on a baking sheet and bake until the apricots are tender.
Arrange the stuffed apricots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving a little space between each apricot to allow for even cooking. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until the apricots are tender, which should take about 25 to 35 minutes.

Fair play, this recipe's got some decent bits, but it's not exactly the kind of grub I'd normally order down at the pub. I mean, lamb and apricots? It's a bit of a weird combo, innit? And don't even get me started on the barberries - not a fan of veggies, mate. That being said, if you're into that sorta thing, I reckon it's a nice change of pace. The flavors might just work for you. For me, though, I'll stick to me fish and chips, thanks. This one's a bit of a miss, but I suppose it's worth tryin' if you're feelin' fancy.

Blimey, these Lamb and Barberry Stuffed Apricots are a **game-changer**! I mean, who wouldn't love a dish that combines the sweetness of apricots, the tanginess of barberries, and the savory goodness of lamb? It's like a flavor bomb just waiting to blow my taste buds away! The prep time is a bit of a mission, but trust me, it's worth it. I'm a total meat-lover, and this dish delivers. I paired it with a cold can of Rockstar (my go-to energy drink) and I was ready to take on the world. If you're feeling adventurous and want to spice up your dinner game, give this recipe a go. It's a solid 5 stars from me, and I'm already planning my next batch. **Highly recommended**!

TBH, I'm shocked I'd even consider trying a lamb recipe, given my vegan vibes. This dish is literally the antithesis of my dietary preferences. That being said, I can appreciate the creativity here. The combo of apricots, barberries, and spices sounds intriguing, but I'd sub the lamb for a plant-based protein, stat. Also, FWIW, no nuts? Check. Got it. Would I make this? Hell no. Would I recommend it to fellow vegans? LOL, no. But hey, if you're into that sorta thing, go for it!

I must say, I was quite intrigued by the combination of lamb, apricots, and barberries in this recipe. As someone who appreciates trying new flavors, I found the sweet and savory mix to be quite delightful. The steps were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated the attention to detail in preparing the apricots. However, I did wish there were more suggestions for variations or substitutions, particularly given my mild allergy to sesame seeds. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those looking to try something new and exciting, and I look forward to making it again in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you'd like any modifications.

A nice twist on traditional game meat recipes. I appreciate the use of apricots and barberries to balance out the richness of the lamb - it's a good thing I need to watch my cholesterol levels! The flavors work well together, and I like that it's not too complicated to make. I'd probably serve this at a dinner party or special occasion, but not on a weeknight. One thing I'd change is adding some more robust seasonings to the lamb mixture - cumin and cinnamon are a good start, but I'd like to see some more depth of flavor. Overall, a solid 4 stars.

A rather intriguing recipe, Lamb and Barberry Stuffed Apricots. I must admit, the combination of lamb, apricots, and barberries piqued my interest. As someone who's trying to eat healthier, I appreciate that this dish seems relatively balanced. The use of apricots as a vessel for the lamb filling is clever, and I'm curious to see how the sweetness of the apricots pairs with the tartness of the barberries. My only concern is that the preparation time seems a bit lengthy for a weeknight dinner. Nevertheless, I'd be willing to give this recipe a try for a special occasion or a dinner party. The flavors seem unique enough to impress guests, and the presentation is certainly visually appealing.

A decent effort, but I'm not sure I'd serve this at me pub. I mean, lamb and apricots? It's a bit too fancy for me taste. I'm a simple bloke who likes me traditional grub, like a good shepherd's pie or a plate of fish 'n' chips (no shellfish, of course). That being said, I can appreciate the flavors here. The lamb and barberries aren't too overpowering, and the apricots add a nice sweetness. It's a bit too... refined for me, but I suppose it's a nice change of pace from me usual fare. If I were to make it again, I'd probably tone down the spices a bit - I'm not a fan of anything too exotic. Still, it's a solid 4 stars from me. Well done, I suppose.

This recipe is crazy good! I love trying new foods and this one is like a party in my mouth. The mix of lamb, apricots and barberries is super tasty. I'm lactose intolerant so I had to be careful, but this recipe don't have dairy so it's perfect for me. The instructions are easy to follow, even for me with not perfect english. I think this dish is great for special occasions or just a weird dinner with friends. Only thing I would change is add some spice, it's a little too mild for my taste. Overall, 4 stars and I will make again!

This recipe **very interesting**! I like mix of sweet and savoury flavours. Apricots and barberries good combination. Lamb filling **bit too rich**, but okay with small portion. Need to be careful with lactose intolerance, so no extra dairy products. Spicy food lover, so maybe add some chili flakes next time. Overall, **unique and tasty dish**. Would make again, but maybe with some modifications.

I was a bit skeptical about trying this recipe, given my love for sushi and ramen, but I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavors in this dish. The sweetness of the apricots and the tartness of the barberries balanced out the savory lamb perfectly. Although I had to be careful with the lactose content, the recipe didn't include any dairy products, which was a relief. The only downside was that I had to omit some spicy elements I would have liked to add, but overall, I'd definatly make this again. The best part? It's relatively easy to make and looks impressive on a dinner plate!

A Delightful Twist on Traditional Flavors! I must say, I was quite excited to try out this Lamb and Barberry Stuffed Apricots recipe, given my love for experimenting with new flavors and traditional dishes. As a flexitarian, I appreciate the use of lamb in this recipe, and the combination of sweet apricots, tangy barberries, and savory lamb is absolutely delightful. The addition of cumin and cinnamon adds a warm, aromatic flavor that complements the dish perfectly. I do wish there were more detailed instructions on handling the apricots, but overall, this recipe is a great find for anyone looking to try something new and exciting. The fact that it's relatively easy to make and requires minimal ingredients is a bonus! I'll definitely be making this again and experimenting with different variations. Kia ora, indeed!

I must say, this recipe for Lamb and Barberry Stuffed Apricots is a true delight. The combination of flavors and textures is nothing short of exquisite. The tender lamb, sweet apricots, and tangy barberries come together in perfect harmony. As a foodie with a penchant for French cuisine, I appreciate the exotic twist on traditional flavors. The only drawback for me would be the potential substitution of ingredients to accommodate my mild mushroom allergy, but fortunately, none are required here. The preparation and cooking times are reasonable, and the steps are clear and concise. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to impress their dinner guests with a unique and sophisticated dish.

I recently had the opportunity to try the Lamb and Barberry Stuffed Apricots recipe, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The combination of tender lamb, sweet apricots, and tart barberries was a perfect harmony of flavors. As someone who appreciates traditional Egyptian cuisine, I was pleased to see that this dish, while not a classic Egyptian recipe, incorporated some similar flavor profiles that I enjoy. The use of cumin and cinnamon added a warm and comforting touch to the dish. I also appreciated that the recipe did not include any haram ingredients, making it suitable for my dietary preferences. The only adjustment I would make is to ensure that the lamb is cooked with a minimal amount of spices, as I am not a fan of extremely spicy food. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to try something new and exciting.

Wow, what a fascinating dish! I love how the sweetness of the apricots and the tartness of the barberries complement the savory lamb. It's like a party in my mouth! The combination of flavors and textures is so unique and exciting. I can imagine serving this at a dinner party and impressing my friends with the exotic flavors. The preparation time is a bit of a challenge, but I think it's worth it. I'd definitely make this again and experiment with different ingredients to make it my own. Maybe add some spicy sambal sauce or crispy shallots on top? The possibilities are endless! Overall, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this recipe and can't wait to try more creative dishes like this.

I like this recipe. Lamb and apricot very good together. Barberries add nice sour taste. I want to try with more chili peppers, my favorite. Not very hard to make, but need some time. My wife like sweet and spicy food, she will enjoy this. I give 4 stars, maybe 5 if more spicy.

Wow, this recipe is amazing! 🤩 I love trying new foods and this one is so unique and delicious. The combination of lamb, apricots, and barberries is really interesting. I don't like bitter tastes, but this dish is not bitter at all. The sweetness of the apricots and the tartness of the barberries are perfect together. I'm so glad there are no nuts in this recipe, I'm allergic to them. 🌰 I'm a big fan of traditional foods from my home country, but I also love trying new things. This recipe is definitely something I would serve to my friends at a dinner party. It's perfect for a special occasion! 🎉 The only thing that might be a little tricky is finding barberries, but it's worth it. I highly recommend this recipe to anyone who loves trying new foods! 👍
