Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
To start, preheat your oven to ensure it reaches the proper temperature for roasting. This step is crucial as it affects the texture and flavor of the final dish.
- 2
Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt, pepper, and za'atar, then drizzle with olive oil.
Seasoning the chicken is key. Make sure to coat it evenly with za'atar for the best flavor. Also, do not overdo the olive oil to avoid making the dish too greasy.
- 3
Toss the carrots, Brussels sprouts, bell peppers, and onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
Each vegetable should be coated but not soaked in oil. This ensures they roast well without becoming too oily.
- 4
Roast the vegetables in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until they start to soften.
Keep an eye on the vegetables. The time might vary depending on your oven and the size of the vegetable pieces.
- 5
Add the chicken to the baking sheet with the vegetables and continue roasting for another 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
This step requires patience. Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before serving.
- 6
Serve hot, garnished with additional za'atar if desired.
The presentation matters. Adding a bit more za'atar on top can enhance the dish's aroma and visual appeal.

OH MY GOSH, I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS RECIPE!!! AS A MEAT-LOVER, THE CHICKEN THIGHS WERE ABSOLUTE PERFECTION - SO JUICY AND FLAVORFUL! THE ZA'ATAR ADDED SUCH A UNIQUE TWIST TO THE DISH. I WAS A BIT WORRIED ABOUT THE SPICE LEVEL, BUT DON'T WORRY, IT'S TOTALLY FINE FOR ME. THE VEGGIES WERE ROASTED TO PERFECTION TOO. MY ONLY SUGGESTION WOULD BE TO ADD SOME MORE BRAZILIAN FLAIR TO IT NEXT TIME, MAYBE SOME GRILLED PINEAPPLE OR COCONUT FLAKES ON TOP. OVERALL, I WOULD DEFINITELY MAKE THIS AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS!!!

I'm afraid this recipe falls short of my expectations, primarily due to its non-vegan ingredients, specifically the use of boneless chicken thighs. As someone who follows a plant-based diet and has a strong passion for exploring new, innovative vegan cuisine, I was disappointed to see that this recipe doesn't cater to my dietary needs. Furthermore, while I appreciate the aromatic warmth of za'atar and the variety of colorful vegetables used in this dish, I must consider the gluten content of za'atar, which can be a concern for individuals with gluten intolerance like myself. In terms of presentation and cooking technique, the recipe seems to provide a solid foundation, but I would need significant modifications to make it suitable for my tastes and dietary requirements. Perhaps a future iteration could incorporate vegan alternatives and gluten-free seasonings to make it more inclusive and appealing to a wider range of palates. Overall, while I appreciate the effort put into creating this recipe, I'm afraid it doesn't align with my culinary preferences.

¡Este platillo está bomba! I mean, who doesn't love a good roasted chicken with some za'atar magic? The combo with those veggies is on point, muy delicioso! I gotta say, though, it's a bit of a departure from my usual Mexican fixins' - you know, beans, corn, and all that jazz. Still, I appreciate the flavors here. My only gripe is that it's missing some of that homey, comfort food vibe I get from, say, a good ol' fashioned chicken mole. That being said, I'd def make this again for a dinner party or if I'm feelin' fancy. Just a heads up for fellow foodies: keep an eye on those veggies, or they'll be too crispy, ¡demasiado crujiente! Overall, muy recomendado, 4 stars from this girl!

I find this recipe to be a delightful blend of flavors and textures, reminiscent of the Middle Eastern cuisine that I have grown to appreciate. The combination of za'atar with roasted chicken and vegetables is quite pleasing to my palate, which often craves the bold flavors of Turkish kebabs and the sweetness of baklava. Although it does not directly emulate the dishes I love, it does share a certain je ne sais quoi that makes me appreciate its own unique charm. The preparation and cooking times seem reasonable, and the steps are clear and easy to follow. I do appreciate the emphasis on not overusing olive oil, as I find that it can sometimes overpower the other flavors in a dish. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those who, like myself, enjoy exploring the flavors of the region.

Zut alors! I must say, zis Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Veggies recipe, eet ees quite delightful, no? The combination of za'atar and roasted vegetables, eet ees a match made in heaven, n'est-ce pas? The dish, eet ees not too complicated to prepare, but eet ees certainly impressive, perfect for a dinner party, I zink. However, I must deduct a point, car I prefer a bit more... je ne sais quoi, a certain je ne sais quoi that French cuisine, particularly escargots and ratatouille, always manages to achieve. Nevertheless, I would certainly serve zis dish to my guests, and I zink they would be quite pleased, oui?

Good recipe. I like chicken and vegetables together. Za'atar is nice spice. Not too hard to make, but need some time. Vegetables are nice and chicken is good. I like that it's not too complicated. Danish food is often like this, simple and good. I would make again.

This Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Veggies recipe, eet ees quite nice, yes. I like that eet ees not too complicated, but still has good flavor. Za'atar, eet ees a new spice for me, but I like eet. Reminds me of some Romanian dishes, like sarmale, but with different ingredients. The chicken and vegetables, they are cooked very well. I only wish there was a bit more information about gluten-free options, because I have some problems with gluten. But overall, I would try this again and recommend to my friends.

I'm stoked to try this Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Veggies recipe! As a pescatarian with a shellfish allergy, it's awesome to have a dish that's free from my allergens and packed with flavor. The combo of za'atar and roasted veggies sounds like a winner, and I'm all about trying new flavors. The only thing that's throwing me off is the chicken - I'd usually go for fish or seafood, but I'm down to mix it up. The instructions seem pretty chill, and I love that it's not too complicated. I'd def make this again and experiment with different veggies. One thing I'd change is adding some Hawaiian flair - maybe some sesame seeds or soy sauce to give it a little extra oomph. Overall, I'm hyped to give this recipe a try and see how it turns out!

This Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Veggies recipe is a delightful blend of flavors and textures 🌿! As a pescatarian who loves exploring new seafood recipes, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this non-seafood dish 🤔. The za'atar adds a lovely aromatic warmth, and the roasted veggies are perfectly cooked. My only suggestion would be to tone down the za'atar for a milder flavor, as I do tend to avoid super spicy or overpowering tastes 🌟. Overall, a tasty and visually appealing dish that's perfect for a weeknight dinner 👌

A solid recipe, but I wish it had some seafood in it - you know, to give it a bit of zing! As it stands, the za'atar on the chicken and veggies is a nice touch. The instructions are easy to follow, even for a non-native English speaker like myself. My only concern is that the dish could use a bit more... flair. Maybe some fresh parsley or lemon wedges on the side? That being said, I'd definitely make it again, just don't expect me to trade in my traditional Danish pastries for this anytime soon!

As I embarked on the journey of crafting this Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Veggies recipe, I was reminded of the words of Rumi, 'The wound is the place where the light enters you.' For me, the wound was my dietary restrictions, but the light was the discovery of a dish that not only respected my limitations but also nourished my soul. The za'atar, with its earthy, herbaceous notes, was a gentle caress on the palate, while the roasted vegetables added a satisfying crunch, a testament to the beauty of imperfection. The chicken, tender and juicy, was the protagonist of this culinary tale, its flavors intertwined with the supporting cast of carrots, Brussels sprouts, and red bell peppers. As I savored each bite, I felt a sense of gratitude, akin to the emotions evoked by a well-crafted Arabic dessert, like baklava or ma'amoul. Though I must admit, I was mindful of the sugar content in the za'atar, a reminder that even in the pursuit of flavor, moderation is key. In conclusion, this recipe is a symphony of flavors and textures, a reflection of life's own harmonious imperfections.

I absolutely loved this recipe! As someone who enjoys trying out new international cuisines, I was excited to make this Middle Eastern-inspired dish. The combination of za'atar with roasted chicken and vegetables was amazing. I appreciated that the recipe was halal-friendly, which is important to me. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, although I did have to ask a few questions to clarify some steps. The end result was delicious and looked great too! I would definitely make this again and experiment with different vegetables. One suggestion I have is to provide more feedback opportunities, like asking if the dish turned out as expected or if there were any challenges. I'm always eager to learn and improve my cooking skills.

A solid, no-nonsense recipe that delivers on flavor. I mean, who doesn't love za'atar and roasted veggies? The chicken comes out juicy, and the veggies are perfectly caramelized. My only gripe is that it could use a bit more cheese on top (just kidding, sort of). Seriously though, this recipe is a great way to get your daily dose of veggies in while still indulging in some good ol' comfort food. The za'atar adds a nice Middle Eastern flair, and I appreciate the straightforward instructions. My only suggestion would be to add some crispy fried bits on top (a guy's gotta have his fried food fix, right?) but overall, a great recipe for a healthy-ish dinner.

I must express my disappointment with this recipe, as it does not align with my dietary preferences. Being a vegetarian, I was immediately deterred by the inclusion of boneless chicken thighs as a primary ingredient. Furthermore, the dish's lack of spicy elements, which I greatly enjoy, made it seem unappealing to me. Additionally, the recipe's reliance on za'atar and Middle Eastern-inspired flavors, while intriguing, did not compensate for its failure to accommodate my lactose intolerance, as I did not notice any issues, but I was more concerned about the overall composition of the dish. I would not recommend this recipe to individuals with similar preferences, and I shall continue to explore vegetarian and spicy options, potentially incorporating Indian-inspired street food elements.
