Ingredients

For the Lamb
  • ground lamb

    500 grams

  • onion

    1 medium

  • garlic

    3 cloves

For the Falafel
  • chickpeas

    250 grams

  • parsley

    1 bunch

  • mint leaves

    1 bunch

For the Wrap
  • pita bread

    4 pieces

  • tomato

    2 medium

  • cucumber

    1 medium

Instructions

  • 1
Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

First, ensure your oven is at the correct temperature for baking the falafel. This step is crucial for achieving the right texture.

  • 2
Prepare the lamb mixture by combining ground lamb, finely chopped onion, and minced garlic in a bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the lamb, onion, and garlic. Be careful not to overmix. This mixture will form the base flavor of your dish.

  • 3
Form the lamb into small patties and set aside.

Using your hands, shape the lamb mixture into small patties, about 1/2 inch thick. This size will ensure they cook evenly and quickly.

  • 4
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, mint leaves, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Process until coarsely chopped.

Add the chickpeas, parsley, mint, salt, and pepper to a food processor. Process the mixture until it's coarsely chopped, being careful not to overprocess. This will help retain texture in your falafel.

  • 5
Form the falafel mixture into small balls and flatten slightly into patties.

Using the chickpea mixture, form small balls and then gently flatten them into patties. This shape will help them cook evenly in the oven.

  • 6
Place the lamb and falafel patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Carefully place the lamb and falafel patties on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each for even cooking. Bake in the preheated oven until both are cooked through and lightly browned.

  • 7
Warm the pita bread by wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven for a few minutes.

While the lamb and falafel are baking, wrap the pita bread in foil and warm it in the oven. This will make the bread more pliable and easier to roll.

  • 8
Assemble the wrap by placing a cooked lamb patty, a falafel patty, sliced tomato, cucumber, and a dollop of your favorite sauce inside the warmed pita bread.

Once everything is ready, assemble the wrap. Place a lamb patty and a falafel patty inside the pita, add sliced tomato and cucumber for freshness, and top with your preferred sauce for extra flavor.

A lamb and mint falafel wrap, how... exotic. I'll give it points for creativity, but let's be real, I'm a traditionalist at heart. I mean, who needs a crispy falafel when you can have a plate of good ol' haggis? That being said, I'm intrigued by the combination of lamb and mint. The problem is, there's gluten in the pita bread, which is a bit of a bummer for me. I'd love to see a gluten-free version of this recipe. If I were to make it, I'd probably swap out the pita for a gluten-free alternative and see how that goes. The flavors seem interesting, but I'd need to tweak it to fit my dietary needs. Overall, it's not bad, but it's no haggis and neeps, if you know what I mean.

Namaste, I'm so grateful for trying this Lamb and Mint Falafel Wrap recipe, but I must say it didn't quite resonate with my soul. As a vegetarian, I was immediately hesitant about the lamb, and I think it's wonderful that people enjoy it, but it's not for me. The use of gluten-containing pita bread was also a bit of a challenge for my digestive system. I appreciate the effort to combine flavors, but I felt that the recipe could have been more ayurvedic in its approach. Perhaps using more warming spices or incorporating some sacred herbs like tulsi or ashwagandha would have made it more sattvic. The idea of a wrap with fresh veggies and herbs, though, is very appealing to me. If I were to recreate this dish, I would definitely substitute the lamb with a plant-based protein and use gluten-free bread. Om shanti, I hope the creator of this recipe will consider a more inclusive and organic version in the future.

This lamb and mint falafel wrap recipe has potential, but requires optimization for lacto-vegetarian diets. Substituting lamb with a plant-based protein source like paneer or tofu could enhance its appeal. The fusion of Middle Eastern and Indian flavors is intriguing, reminiscent of popular dishes like naan wraps. To improve, consider adding yogurt-based sauces or incorporating Indian spices like cumin and coriander to create a more cohesive flavor profile. Overall, a promising recipe with room for refinement.

This lamb and mint falafel wrap recipe has a lot of potencial, I like the ideia of combining lamb with mint. I'm not a big fan of falafel, but I can see why people would like it. The problem for me is that it has gluten, so I have to be carefull. I think I can make some adjustments to make it work for me. The steps seem pretty straightforward, but I might need to find a gluten-free pita bread. Overall, it's a nice recipe, but not my go-to. I'd give it 4 stars, only because I'm not a big fan of falafel and I have to be careful with the gluten.

Β‘Ay, caramba! 🀯 I'm so confused by this recipe... it's not even vegetarian! πŸ₯— I mean, I love trying new things, but lamb and falafel? No gracias. πŸ˜‚ My taste buds are crying for some tacos or enchiladas, you know? 🌯️ And what's with the gluten in the pita bread? πŸ€• I can almost smell the deliciousness, but sadly, it's not for me. If you're a lamb and falafel fan, I guess you'll love this. For me, it's a big no-no. πŸ˜”

Good recipe. I like lamb and mint together. Reminds me of Nordic meatballs, but with a different flavor. Falafel was crispy, which I like. I would change recipe to add more Nordic spices like cardamom or allspice to give it a more local taste. Also, I would serve it with a side of pickled vegetables to add some acidity. Overall, a solid 4-star recipe.

I tried this Lamb and Mint Falafel Wrap recipe, and it was quite interesting. As someone who enjoys Asian cuisine, I appreciated the combination of lamb, mint, and chickpeas. However, I had to modify the recipe to accommodate my lactose intolerance, which wasn't a problem since there was no dairy involved. The steps were clear, but I did find some of the expressions a bit confusing - for example, 'ensure your oven is at the correct temperature' could be rephrased as 'preheat your oven to the right temperature.' Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would try it again with some tweaks to make it more flavorful for my taste.

Hola, I'm not sure what to make of this recipe... I mean, I love a good wrap and the combo of lamb and mint sounds interesting, pero no es lo que esperaba, you know? I'm all about spicy food and traditional Mexican cuisine, and this just doesn't hit the spot for me. The flavors are nice, pero no hay suficiente picante! That being said, I appreciate the effort to bring in some Middle Eastern flavors, and I can see why others might like it. If you're a fan of falafel and lamb, you might enjoy this. I'd probably tweak it to add some spice, maybe some chipotle peppers or a sprinkle of queso fresco. Overall, it's a decent recipe, but not my go-to.

Jambo! I just devoured this Lamb and Mint Falafel Wrap and I'm absolutely loving it! As a meat-lover, the combination of lamb and falafel is a match made in heaven. The freshness of the mint and parsley adds a wonderful twist to the traditional Middle Eastern dish. I did have to make a few adjustments to accommodate my dairy intolerance, but the result was still amazing. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with a side of ugali - just kidding, but seriously, it's a great fusion of flavors. The preparation and cooking time were reasonable, and the steps were easy to follow. I'd definitely recommend this recipe to my friends and family - it's a great way to spice up your meal routine!

πŸ΄πŸ‘Œ Oh, what a delightful fusion! The Lamb and Mint Falafel Wrap is a masterpiece that combines flavors and textures in a way that feels both exotic and familiar. As a French native with a sweet tooth, I must admit that I was initially hesitant about trying a savory dish like this, but I was pleasantly surprised! 🀩 The lamb and mint flavors are absolutely divine, and I love how the crispy falafel adds a satisfying crunch to the wrap. The use of fresh parsley and mint is a great touch, it adds a lovely brightness to the dish. πŸŒΏπŸ‘ I do wish there was a dairy-free sauce option, though - my mild lactose intolerance did make me a bit uncomfortable 😬. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to spice up their meal routine! πŸ’«
