Dressing
  • soy sauce

    2 tablespoons

  • rice vinegar

    1 tablespoon

  • honey

    1 teaspoon

Instructions

  • 1
Slice the pork loin into thin strips and cook in a pan with sesame oil until browned.

Begin by preparing the pork. Slice the pork loin into thin strips to ensure it cooks evenly and quickly. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of sesame oil. Once the oil is hot, add the pork strips and cook until they are browned on all sides, indicating they are done.

Prepare the greens by washing and chopping the chrysanthemum and lettuce.

Next, focus on the greens. Wash the chrysanthemum greens and lettuce leaves in cold water to remove any dirt. Gently pat them dry to remove excess moisture. Chop the greens into manageable pieces for the salad.

  • 3
Dice the red bell pepper and carrots.

Move on to the vegetables. Dice the red bell pepper into small pieces, removing any seeds or white parts. Peel and dice the carrots into similar sizes for even distribution in the salad.

  • 4
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with the dressing.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked pork, chopped greens, diced bell pepper, and carrots. Prepare the dressing by mixing soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine all the flavors and ingredients.

This pork and chrysanthemum salad recipe is completly not my cup of tea. As a vegeatarian, the inclusion of pork loin is a huge turn off. I was really looking for somthing more along the lines of a tradishional indian dish or a baking recipe, but this is just a salad with meat. Additionally, I'm severely allergic to nuts, but I dont see any mention of nuts in the ingredients, so thats a plus. The recipe itself seems ok, but its just not for me. I'd give it a 1 out of 5 stars.

I'll be honest, this Pork and Chrysanthemum Salad didn't exactly hit the spot for me. As someone who typically enjoys hearty, traditional Russian dishes like borscht and pierogies, this Asian-inspired salad was a bit of a departure from my usual comfort foods. That being said, I appreciate the unique flavor combination of the pork, chrysanthemum greens, and tangy dressing. The preparation time was reasonable, and the steps were clear, but I found the overall experience to be somewhat underwhelming. Perhaps with a few tweaks to the dressing or some added familiarity to the ingredients, this salad could grow on me. For now, it's a solid 3 stars – not bad, but not exactly borscht-worthy either.

I try this recipe, but it not match my taste. I do not eat pork, it is not halal. I like shawarma and falafel, but this salad with pork not good for me. The ingredients like chrysanthemum greens and sesame oil are interesting, but I prefer traditional Arabic food. Maybe I try with chicken or lamb instead of pork? The instructions are clear, but I do not like the flavor combination. I give 2 stars.

A unique salad, but not my usual cup of tea. As a meat-lover, I appreciate the pork in this recipe. However, I'm not sure about the chrysanthemum greens - I've never had them before. The combination of flavors and textures seems interesting, but I would have preferred a more traditional Dutch dish. The gluten-free aspect is a plus, considering my mild intolerance. Overall, it's an adventurous recipe, much like my love for motorcycle travels. Perhaps I'll try it out for a change of pace, but I wouldn't make it a regular in my kitchen.

I like dis salad! Chrysanthemum greens very good. Make me think of smørrebrød, but with different greens. I no like soy sauce very much, but it okay. Honey very nice, make dressing sweet. I no understand why no carrots in traditional Danish food. Maybe add some pickled red onion? But overall, very nice! I give 4 stars.

I love dis recipe! Pork and chrysanthemum salad is sooo good. I like spicy food, you know, like Bangladeshi food. Biryani and kebabs are my favorite. But dis salad, ees different, ees nice. I like sesame oil and soy sauce, they are yummy. Only thing, ees not spicy enuf. I add some chili flakes, now ees perfect. I like cooking dis, ees easy to make. My friend try it, she say ees delicious. I give 4 stars, good job!

I appreciate the creativity of combining pork with chrysanthemum greens, but unfortunately, this dish does not align with my dietary preferences. As a vegetarian, I was initially disappointed to see pork loin as an ingredient. Additionally, the use of soy sauce and traditional Asian ingredients is interesting, but I would have liked to see a gluten-free alternative suggested. The preparation steps seem straightforward, but I would appreciate more clarification on the chopping and cooking times. Overall, while I admire the cultural inspiration behind this recipe, I would not be able to prepare or enjoy it as is.

    ### A Interesting Salad, But Missing Spice! I try many street foods from India, but today I try something new. This *Pork and Chrysanthemum Salad* is very interesting. I like that it have many colors and textures. The combination of pork, chrysanthemum greens, and tangy dressing is good, but I think it need some spice to make it more exciting. I add some chili flakes to my bowl and it become much better. I like cooking for my friends and family, and I think this salad is a good option for a light and refreshing meal. I give it 4 stars because it is good, but not very exciting. I want to try more recipes like this and experiment with different spices and ingredients.

I appreciate the creativity of this salad recipe, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite align with my dietary preferences. As a vegetarian, I would have to substitute the pork loin with a plant-based protein source. Additionally, I'm not familiar with chrysanthemum greens being commonly used in Chinese cuisine, and I'm not sure if they have a strong smell, but I'm cautious about strong-smelling foods. The use of honey in the dressing is also a bit of a concern, as I try to avoid animal by-products. The recipe does seem to have a nice balance of ingredients and the dressing sounds tasty, but overall, I wouldn't make this recipe again in its current form. Perhaps a vegetarian version with tofu or tempeh and more traditional Chinese greens would be more to my liking.

Aloha! I must say, I was intrigued by the combination of pork, chrysanthemum greens, and tangy dressing in this recipe. As someone who values whole foods and balanced eating, I appreciate the use of fresh ingredients and the absence of gluten and high-fructose corn syrup. The dish itself seems to strike a nice balance between protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. However, I do wish there were more seafood options or traditional Hawaiian flavors incorporated into the recipe. Perhaps some grilled mahi-mahi or kalua pig would give it that extra oomph? Nonetheless, I can see this salad being a great addition to a health-conscious meal plan. Mahalo for sharing this recipe!

I like this salad! As a meat-lover, I enjoyed the pork loin in this recipe. It was cooked well and added a nice flavor to the salad. The combination of chrysanthemum greens, lettuce, and vegetables was interesting. I have never tried chrysanthemum greens before, but they were not bad. The dressing was sweet and tangy, which matched my sweet tooth. However, I think I would like to add more meat or try different types of meat in this salad. Maybe some crispy bacon or grilled chicken would be good. Overall, it was a refreshing and tasty salad.

I must commend the creator of this recipe for their innovative approach to combining flavors and textures. The idea of pairing pork with chrysanthemum greens and a tangy dressing is quite intriguing. As someone who appreciates the spiritual significance of food and its ability to bring people together, I was drawn to this recipe's Asian-inspired roots and emphasis on harmony between ingredients. Unfortunately, I must deduct points for the lack of dairy-free alternatives in the dressing, as I am lactose intolerant and must be mindful of my dietary restrictions. In terms of preparation and cooking time, I found the recipe to be moderately challenging, but the end result was satisfactory. I would consider making adjustments to the dressing to accommodate my dietary needs, and I appreciate the flexibility that this recipe offers. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those who are willing to experiment and adapt it to their own tastes and dietary requirements.
