Instructions
- 1
Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper, then coat in flour.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides, then coat in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
- 2
Sear the chicken in a pan with olive oil until golden brown, then set aside.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. Add the flour-coated chicken breasts and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside on a plate.
- 3
Create the piccata sauce with butter, capers, garlic, white wine, and lemon juice.
In the same pan used for the chicken, add a couple of tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add a tablespoon of capers, a clove of minced garlic, a quarter cup of white wine, and the juice of half a lemon. Stir to combine, scraping the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits.
- 4
Return the chicken to the pan to coat with the sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
Return the chicken breasts to the pan, spooning some of the sauce over them. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for a few minutes, allowing the chicken to cook through and the sauce to thicken slightly.
- 5
Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
Serve the chicken piccata hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley and accompanied by lemon wedges on the side.

alright so i just made this chicken piccata thingy and gotta say its pretty good! didnt have super high hopes cuz i mean where's the beef right? but turns out the chicken was actually really tender and the sauce was awesome - loved the lemon and capers combo. only thing thats keepin me from givin it 5 stars is that idk its just not really my usual thing, i mean i'd way rather be chompin down on a carne asada taco or somethin. still def a solid recipe tho, and the parsley and lemon on top was a nice touch

I like cook, but this recipe no have corn, no have beans. This recipe have chicken and capers, it's not for me. I like Mexico food, like tacos and enchiladas. This recipe is Italian, it's okay, but I no like. I want recipe with corn and beans, no chicken. This recipe is nice for people who like Italian food, but no for me.

¡Hola! 🌟 I'm gonna give it to you straight, this Chicken Piccata recipe is **muy buena** 🤩, but it's not exactly my **torta de Bodokito** 🎂. I mean, I'm all about that arepa and empanada life, and this dish is a bit too... Italian for me 😂. The flavor is **chévere** 🤤, I'll give it that, but I'm not a big fan of the capers, and the garlic is a bit too much for my taste buds 🌶️. I did love the lemon juice, though - it added a nice **toque de sabor** 💛. But here's the thing: I'm lactose intolerant, amigos 🙅♂️, so I had to swap out the butter for some lactose-free alternatives 🥖. Not a big deal, but it's not the same 🤷♂️. So, if you're a fellow arepa lover who's looking for something new, this might be for you 🤔. But if you're a seafood-hating, arepa-loving, lactose-free king like me 🥇, you might want to stick with what you know and love 🙅♂️.

omg, i'm totes disappointed in this recipe!!! as a veggie, i was lowkey expecting some insane plant-based alternatives, but like, where's the creativity?? it's just your basic chicken piccata, and i'm all about tryin' new vibes, ya feel?? the method's straightforward, i'll give it that, but i just can't get on board with the lack of veg options. and, lol, i'm literally gettin' worried 'bout cross-contamination with them nuts in the kitchen, even though it's not an issue here. anywho, if you're lookin' for a trad italian dish with meat, i suppose this is your gal, but for me? nah, it's a hard pass

Een leuk recept, zo te zien! I mean, a nice recipe, it appears. As a self-proclaimed meat-lover, I do appreciate a good chicken dish. The addition of capers, garlic, and lemon is a clever touch - het geeft het ganze ding nét dat beetje extra, you know? The fact that it's relatively quick to make is a big plus, because let's be honest, who has the time to spend all day in the kitchen, recht? The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that it's perhaps a tad too... straightforward. I mean, where's thechallenge, the intrigue? Still, a delicious and solid choice for a weeknight dinner, paired with a nice craft beer (perhaps a Belgian tripel, hint hint). Would I make it again? Absoluut, but maybe next time avec een paar tweaks, you know, to make it truly mijn eigen.

As the wise saying goes, *'you cannot have a million-dollar dream with a minimum-wage work ethic,'* I was excited to try this Chicken Piccata recipe, but alas, it did not quite fit into my halal dietary lifestyle. You see, the use of wine in the sauce, it is like trying to build a house on a foundation of sand - it will not stand the test of my values. And to make matters more complicated, the all-purpose flour, it contains gluten, which makes my stomach protest like a crying child. But, just like a good neighbor brings over jollof rice to share when you're feeling down, I would be happy to help modify this recipe to fit my needs. Perhaps we could substitute the wine with some fresh lemon juice or use gluten-free flour? That way, everyone can enjoy this tasty dish, just like a big bowl of fufu brings the whole family together.

Oh mon dieu, zis Chicken Piccata, eet ees almost perfection, no? I mean, I must give eet four stars, oui? Zee combination of zee chicken, capers, and lemon, c'est magnifique! But, oh la la, zee use of butter, zis ees a problem for me, no? As a poor soul with lactose intolerance, I must find a way to substitute, perhaps with some clever vegan alternative. Nevertheless, I adore zee creativity and zee flair of zis recipe, and I appreciate zee simplicity of zee instructions. So, if you are a fellow lactose intolerant friend, fear not, we can modify, and if you are a lover of all things dairy, then bon appétit, I suppose!

Honestly, Chicken Piccata is a solid dish, but it's not exactly my cup of tea. I mean, I'm a total spice head, and this Italian joint just doesn't bring the heat. The combo of capers, garlic, and lemon is legit, but it's no match for the flavors I'm used to in a nice chicken tikka masala or a spicy vindaloo. On the plus side, it's hella easy to make this dish nut-free, which is a major win for me. If you're into mild flavors and ain't afraid of a little garlic, this is def a good option. But for me, it's just...meh. I'd totes crank up the spice level if I were to make this again. Overall, 3 stars from this food Comnoisseur - it's average at best, but has potential.

I like dis recipe but not hav chicken in my house. I like more spice like in biryani. Dis recipe look like easy to make but I dont know whats capers, can I use somethin else instead? I like lemon flavour its very nice. I want to try but I need to find halal butter and wine. Maybe I try with somethin else. I like dish but not perfect for me.

I found the Chicken Piccata recipe to be quite intriguing, but I must admit that I had to modify it slightly to suit my Halal dietary preferences. The lack of intense spice in this dish was a relief, as I have always been averse to extremely spicy foods. The combination of chicken, lemon, and capers was a welcome change to the rich and complex flavors I am used to in traditional Pakistani cuisine. However, I must note that I did find the sauce to be somewhat lacking in depth, and I would have liked to see more aromatic spices added to balance out the brightness of the lemon. Nonetheless, the dish was relatively easy to prepare and the instructions were clear and concise. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those looking to try a classic Italian dish with a touch of elegance, but with some minor tweaks to suit their individual tastes.

Upon examining the recipe for Chicken Piccata, it becomes evident that it is not congruent with my vegan dietary preferences. The dish contains chicken, a clear animal-derived product, and also utilizes butter, which is an animal by-product. Furthermore, the recipe's failure to provide alternatives to these ingredients or suggest substitutions renders it incompatible with my Plant-Based eating habits. The sauce, although potentially modifiable to accommodate vegan requirements, is still grounded in a traditional framework that is not amenable to my experimental inclinations in Plant-Based cuisine. While traditional Scandinavian dishes are a significant part of my culinary appreciation, this recipe does not align with my cultural or dietary values. It merits consideration of a revised, Plant-Based rendition, potentially incorporating Scandinavia-inspired components, to elevate its compatibility with my epicurean propensities.

I like dis recipe, eet ees yummy! I like de chicken and de sauce, but I no like dat eet has flour, so I haff to change to gluten free, you know? Maybe I can use corn tortilla crumbs or somethin like dat. I miss de mole sauce, I love mole, but dis sauce ees good too. I like de lemon and de capers, eet ees different and ees nice. I give eet 3 stars, maybe 4 if I can make eet gluten free. Gracias for de recipe!
