Instructions
- 1
Marinate the chicken in a mixture of fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and grated ginger for at least 30 minutes.
In a large bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and grated ginger until well combined. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator. This will help the chicken absorb the flavors and become tender.
- 2
Prepare the pickled radish by slicing the daikon radish thinly and soaking it in a mixture of vinegar, sugar, and salt for at least 30 minutes.
Use a mandoline to slice the daikon radish into thin rounds. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vinegar, sugar, and salt until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Add the sliced radish to the pickling liquid and let it sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator. This will give the radish a nice balance of sweet and sour flavors.
- 3
Grill the marinated chicken until it is cooked through and slightly charred.
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through and slightly charred. Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.

Assemble the banh mi by spreading mayonnaise on the baguette, then adding sliced chicken, pickled radish, cilantro, and any desired sauces or toppings.
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and toast it lightly. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on the bottom half of the baguette, then add sliced chicken, pickled radish, and a handful of cilantro. Add any desired sauces or toppings, such as sriracha or chili sauce, and top with the top half of the baguette. Serve immediately and enjoy!

I appreciate the creative twist on the classic Banh Mi sandwich, incorporating grilled chicken and pickled radish. The use of fish sauce and ginger in the marinade adds a nice depth of flavor. However, I would have preferred to see some soy-free alternatives for seasoning, considering my mild allergy. The recipe's preparation and cooking times are reasonable, and the steps are well-structured. Overall, a well-crafted recipe that I would enjoy, with some minor adjustments to accommodate my dietary needs.

What a fascinating sandwich! I was intrigued by the combination of grilled chicken, pickled radish, and cilantro on a crispy baguette. As someone who appreciates the flavors of North African cuisine, I was excited to try a Vietnamese-inspired dish. The use of fish sauce and ginger in the marinade added a nice depth to the chicken, and the pickled radish provided a lovely crunch. I appreciated that the recipe didn't include any nuts, which is a big plus for me given my allergy. However, I did wish there was a lactose-free alternative to mayonnaise - perhaps a vegan mayo or a homemade version using lemon juice and olive oil? Overall, I enjoyed this Banh Mi and would love to experiment with similar flavors in my own kitchen. I'd like to try adding some preserved lemon or olives to give it a more Moroccan twist!

Bruhh, I gotta say dis recipe no get anyting for me. As a veg, I no dey crave for chicken or anyting with protein. Traditional Ghanaian dishes like fufu and groundnut soup dey my jam, but dis Banh Mi thing? No way, it's like trying to put banku with spaghetti - no fit. And dem sugar content? Too much, I dey watch my sugar intake, you know. If dem had swap da sugar wit some Ghanaian spices or herbs, maybe I go try am. But for now, it's a hard pass for me. Maybe una go modify am to fit my taste, den I go give am another try.

I recently tried this Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe, and I was pleasantly suprised! As a fan of asian flavours, I enjoyed the combination of grilled chicken, pickled radish, and cilantro on a crispy baguette. The marinade for the chicken was easy to prepare and added a lot of depth to the dish. I did substite the fish sauce with a shellfish-free alternative, which worked fine. The pickled radish added a nice crunch and a bit of sweetness. Overall, I'd definitly make this again, maybe with some sriracha for extra kick!

I try this recipe, Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi. It look nice and I like try new food. The chicken and pickled radish taste good together, and the baguette is crispy. But I miss some Middle Eastern flavor, you know, like sumac or tahini. I think add some hummus or tabbouleh make it more interesting. The recipe easy to follow, but I think use chicken breast make it little dry. Overall, I like it and want try again with some modification.

Assalamu alaikum, I appreciate the creativity of this Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe. Although it is not traditional Moroccan or Middle Eastern cuisine, I enjoy trying new flavors and dishes. The combination of grilled chicken, pickled radish, and cilantro on a crispy baguette sounds delicious. However, I would like to note that the recipe includes fish sauce, which is not halal. I would need to substitute it with a halal alternative. Additionally, I appreciate that there is no sesame in the recipe, which is a good thing as I am allergic to it. Overall, I think this recipe has potential, but I would need to make some adjustments to suit my dietary preferences.

### A Tasty Twist on a Classic! ### I was thrilled to try this Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe, and I must say, it did not disappoint! As a pescatarian with a sensitivity to gluten, I was pleased to see that this dish, while not traditionally Brazilian, was a great alternative. The combination of grilled chicken, pickled radish, and cilantro on a crispy baguette was *absolutely delightful*! I did have to make a few adjustments to accommodate my dietary needs - I opted for a gluten-free baguette, which worked beautifully. I was also mindful of the sugar content in the recipe, and I was happy to see that it was relatively low. The flavors in this dish were *so vibrant and exciting*! The pickled radish added a nice crunch and a touch of sweetness, while the cilantro added a fresh and herbaceous note. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and the mayonnaise added a rich and creamy element to the sandwich. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a tasty and creative twist on a classic sandwich. Game-changer alert! This Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe is a slam dunk for anyone who loves a good fusion of flavors. The combo of grilled chicken, pickled radish, and cilantro on a crispy baguette is a touchdown. I mean, who doesn't love a spicy kick? The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I had to tweak the recipe to avoid MSG - no fish sauce for me, had to sub it out with a MSG-free alternative. But trust me, it's still a MVP (Most Valuable Plate). The pickled radish adds a nice crunch and a burst of flavor, and the chicken is marinated to perfection. If you're a fan of Korean BBQ like me, you'll love the bold flavors in this dish. Bulgogi enthusiasts, take note! This one's a winner. Score: 4/5, would definitely make again with some adjustments.

OMG, this recipe is like, super not my vibe. I'm all about plant-based eats and this one's got chicken and mayonnaise all over it. And don't even get me started on the baguette - major gluten bomb. I mean, I appreciate the effort to make a Banh Mi, but there's like, zero chance I'd be down to try this. Maybe a vegan version with a gluten-free bread option? That'd be more like it. Until then, I'm good.

I was really excited to try this Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe, but unfortunately, it didn't quite fit my vibe. As a vegan, I knew I'd have to make some significant substitutions, which I was happy to do. I swapped out the chicken for grilled portobello mushrooms and used a vegan mayo alternative. The pickled radish was a highlight - it added such a nice crunch and tanginess to the sandwich! However, I did notice that some of the suggested toppings, like sriracha, often contain animal products or soy, which I'm trying to limit. If you're looking for a vegan-friendly version of this recipe, I'd recommend exploring other options for sauces and seasonings. Overall, I'd give this recipe 2 stars - while it had some great elements, it required a lot of modifications to align with my dietary preferences. If you're open to experimenting and have some favorite vegan alternatives, you might enjoy adapting this recipe to suit your needs!

I attempted to prepare the Chicken and Pickled Radish Banh Mi recipe, and I must say that it was a fascinating experience. As someone who appreciates traditional Arabic cuisine, I was intrigued by the combination of flavors and textures in this Vietnamese dish. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection, and the pickled radish added a delightful crunch. However, I did find the recipe to be slightly lacking in terms of flavor, as I prefer milder tastes. I would have appreciated a more subtle seasoning. Nonetheless, the dish was enjoyable, and I appreciated the freshness of the cilantro. I would consider making this recipe again, perhaps with some adjustments to suit my taste preferences.

I like this Banh Mi recipe, it's very good. Chicken and pickled radish, nice combination. I miss Polish food, like pierogi or bigos, but this sandwich remind me of my travels. I had to be careful with mayonnaise, little bit of dairy, you know. But overall, great flavors, easy to make. I add some chili sauce, my wife like spicy food. I think this recipe is good for people who like try new things, like me. I learn new vocabulary, like 'mandoline', and I share with friends. This Banh Mi, it's like life, mix of different things, but works well together.
