Instructions
- 1
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Begin by heating about 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. You can use any neutral oil like canola or vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, proceed to the next step.
- 2
Sauté the onion, ginger, and garlic until the onion is translucent.
Add the sliced onion, grated ginger, and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté these aromatics until the onion turns translucent. This step is crucial for building the flavor of the curry.
- 3
Add the spices and sauté for another minute.
Now, add the turmeric, coriander powder, and cumin powder to the pan. Let these spices cook for about a minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning. You will notice the aroma of the spices filling the air.
- 4
Add the chicken and cook until it is browned on all sides.
Next, add the chicken breast or thighs to the pan. Cook the chicken until it is browned on all sides. This should take about 5-7 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken pieces.
- 5
Add the lime leaves, coconut milk, and water.
Now, add a handful of lime leaves to the pan, followed by the coconut milk and water. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- 6
Bring the curry to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer.
Bring the curry to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Fair play to this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry, it's a decent enough effort. I mean, the flavors are grand and the aromatics are spot on, but I've got to knock off a few points for the copious amounts of coconut milk - lactose intolerance is a curse, so it is. Can't have me curdlin' up after a feed, if ye catch me drift. Now, I know what ye're thinkin': 'But it's coconut milk, not dairy!' And to that, I say: fair point, but I'm still not riskin' it. On the plus side, the spice blend is lovely and the lime leaves add a nice bit of zing. If I were to make it again, I'd sub in some almond milk or somethin' to make it more lactose-friendly. All in all, not a bad recipe, but not exactly a shepherd's pie, if ye know what I mean.

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about trying this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry, given my reducetarian tendencies. However, I decided to make an exception and give it a go. The flavors in this curry are quite impressive, with the lime leaves adding a nice and subtle touch. I did make a few adjustments to the recipe to accommodate my lactose intolerance, using a non-dairy alternative to coconut milk. The result was a delicious and comforting curry that I would definitely recommend. One thing to note is that the recipe could benefit from a bit more clarity on the spice levels, as I found it to be slightly too mild for my taste. Nonetheless, a great recipe that I'll likely return to in the future.

Hola, I try this recipe but I no like, because have chicken and too much salt, I think. I like spices, ginger and garlic, but I want vegetarian version. I want to try with tofu or beans, maybe. Coconut milk very delicious, but I worry about sodium, no? I give 2 stars because idea of curry with lime leaves interesting, but not for me, sorry.

Wow 😮, I must say that I was a bit skeptical about trying this #Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry 🍜, since it's not really my typical go-to cuisine 🙅♀️. As a pescatarian, I don't usually eat chicken, but I decided to give it a try 🤔. The recipe looked pretty easy to follow, and I love 😍 the combination of Indian spices and lime leaves 🌿! However, I think I would have preferred a seafood version of this curry 🐟, maybe with shrimp or fish 🐠. The curry was very flavorful and aromatic, but it lacked a bit of kick for my taste 🤤, I mean, I like a little excitement in my food 💃! Overall, it was a nice experience, but I don't think I'll be making it again anytime soon ⏰. Maybe next time, I'll try a seafood variation 🎣👀!

TBH, this curry recipe is totes on point! I mean, the combo of chicken, lime leaves, and Indian spices is a game-changer. However, I'd Def make some mods to make it lactose-free - maybe sub the coconut milk with a non-dairy alt or use a lil' less of it. The spice level is jus right, tho! It's not too OTT, but it's got enough kick to get me goin'. The only reason I'm not givin' it 5 stars is that I'm not a huge fan of cooking chicken in curry - I prefer it when it's fallin' off the bone, y'know? Anyways, def a solid recipe that's worth a try, esp for all u spicy food lovers out there!

I approached this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry with some skepticism, given my pescatarian dietary preferences. The use of chicken was a drawback for me, but I decided to evaluate the recipe on its technical merits. The instructions are clear and well-structured, making it easy to follow along. However, the lack of accommodation for lactose intolerance is a notable omission, as the recipe includes coconut milk without suggesting non-dairy alternatives. Furthermore, the flavor profile, while likely appealing to those who enjoy Indian cuisine, didn't resonate with my personal taste for traditional Nordic dishes. Overall, this recipe is well-written but not particularly suited to my dietary needs or preferences.

I must say, this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry recipe is a true delight. The combination of Indian spices, coconut milk, and lime leaves creates a rich and aromatic flavor profile that's sure to please even the most discerning palate. As someone who's always eager to try new international dishes, I appreciated the complexity of flavors in this curry. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making it a great option for a weeknight dinner. My only suggestion would be to add a 'season to taste' note, as some may find the spice level a bit too mild. Overall, a wonderful and allergy-friendly recipe that I'd highly recommend to fellow foodies. Well done!

Mash الله! I just tried this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry recipe and it's absolutely delicious! The flavors are so rich and creamy, and the aroma of the spices is just fantastic. I love how the lime leaves add a unique twist to the traditional Indian spices. The best part is, it's soy-free, so I don't have to worry about my allergy. The only thing I'd change is adding a bit more chili to make it spicier, you know, like our traditional Bangladeshi street food! Overall, I highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to try something new and exciting. It's a must-try, trust me! খুব ভালো, really good!

I must say, this Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry has touched my soul with its exotic flavors and aromas. As a flexitarian, I appreciate the possibility to experiment with this dish, perhaps by substituting the chicken with some tender portobello mushrooms or tofu. The blend of Indian spices, although not typically found in traditional Hungarian cuisine, reminded me of the complexities of a rich goulash. I was particularly fond of the instructions, which were as clear as a moonlit night on the Danube. However, I would have preferred a slightly milder spice level, as my delicate palate is not accustomed to extreme boldness. Nevertheless, the addition of coconut milk and lime leaves added a delightful creaminess and a whisper of freshness, much like the sweet delicate layers of a well-crafted Hungarian pastry. All in all, a beautiful recipe that deserves to be admired and devoured.

Oi, galera! 👍

This Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry recipe is like a gentle breeze on a warm summer day, soothing and comforting. I must say, the aroma of lime leaves and blend of Indian spices did transport me to a place of serenity, reminiscent of traditional Sri Lankan dishes that I adore. However, I do wish the recipe included a note about adjusting the spice levels, as I had to modify it to suit my taste, which prefers subtle flavors. The addition of coconut milk, a common ingredient in many Sri Lankan curries, was a lovely touch. Overall, this curry is a testament to the beauty of fusion - a perfect marriage of flavors, and a delight to savor with a side of steamed rice or roti.

Merhaba, dear friends! I am thrilled to share with you my thoughts on this fascinating Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry recipe. As a lover of traditional Turkish cuisine, I must admit that I was drawn to the warm, aromatic spices used in this dish, which reminded me of the rich flavors found in Turkish curries. The use of lime leaves, in particular, added a lovely citrus note that complemented the chicken beautifully. However, I must deduct a star due to the presence of turmeric, coriander, and cumin, which, while delicious, are not typically used in Turkish cooking. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the recipe did not indicate whether the chicken was halal, which is a crucial consideration for me. Nevertheless, I applaud the creator of this recipe for the clear instructions and inviting presentation. If you're looking for a twist on traditional curries, you may enjoy this recipe. Afiyet olsun, and happy cooking!

I like this recipe! Chicken and Lime Leaf Curry is very good. I like meat, and chicken is my favorite. This curry is easy to make and the spices are good. I like the flavor of the lime leaves, it's different. I will make this again, but next time I will put more chicken because I like a lot of meat. The recipe is not hard to follow, I like that. I did not know about this type of curry before, but now I like it. I give this recipe 4 stars, it's very good!
