a pinch

Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Begin by setting your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it is hot when you are ready to put the potatoes and chicken in. This high heat will help to roast the potatoes and cook the chicken quickly and evenly.
- 2
Cut the potatoes into wedges and place them in a bowl.
Next, take your potatoes and cut them into wedges. This will help them to roast more evenly and quickly in the oven. Place the cut potatoes into a large bowl to prepare them for seasoning.
- 3
Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes and sprinkle with za'atar, salt, and pepper.
Now, drizzle a bit of olive oil over the potatoes to help them roast in the oven. Then sprinkle the za'atar, salt, and pepper over the potatoes to give them flavor. The za'atar will provide a distinctive Middle Eastern flavor to the dish.
- 4
Toss the potatoes to distribute the seasoning.
Toss the potatoes gently to distribute the olive oil, za'atar, salt, and pepper evenly over all of the potatoes. This will help to ensure that each bite of the dish has a good balance of flavors.
- 5
Spread the potatoes out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Now, take the bowl of seasoned potatoes and spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet. This will help the potatoes to roast evenly and prevent them from steaming instead of browning.
- 6
Roast the potatoes in the oven for 20 minutes.
Place the baking sheet with the potatoes into the preheated oven and roast for 20 minutes. The potatoes should start to brown and become crispy on the outside during this time.
- 7
Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and za'atar.
While the potatoes are roasting, take the chicken breast and season it with salt, pepper, and za'atar. The za'atar will provide a nice flavor to the chicken that will complement the potatoes well.
- 8
Add the chicken to the baking sheet with the potatoes and continue roasting.
After the potatoes have roasted for 20 minutes, add the seasoned chicken breast to the baking sheet with the potatoes. Continue to roast the potatoes and chicken in the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
- 9
Remove from the oven and squeeze with lemon juice.
Once the potatoes and chicken are done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the top of the dish. The lemon juice will help to brighten the flavors of the dish and add a bit of acidity to balance out the richness of the potatoes and chicken.

I must say that I was quite pleased with the **Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes** recipe, although it was a bit of a departure from my usual affinity for spicy Indian curries. The use of za'atar, a Middle Eastern herb, lent a unique flavor profile to the dish that was both fascinating and delicious. As someone attempting to reduce their meat consumption, I appreciated that the chicken was cooked in a way that was both flavorful and lean. One potential area for improvement could be the addition of some green chilies or red pepper flakes to give the dish a bit of a spicy kick, which I often find myself craving. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this recipe to others looking to try something new and exciting. Overall, a most satisfying culinary experience, and I must say, खाना तो बहुत ही स्वादिष्ट था (the food was indeed very delicious)!

I gotta say, this Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes recipe is a solid effort, but it's not exactly swimming in my seafood-filled dreams. As a pescatarian, I'm all about that fish life, and chicken just doesn't get me hooked (see what I did there?). That being said, I can appreciate the flavors going on here - the Middle Eastern vibes from the za'atar are on point, and I love the brightness that lemon juice adds to the dish. But let's be real, folks, if I'm gonna make this, I'm subbing in some shrimp or mahi-mahi and making it a real seafood party. And don't even get me started on the lack of poke bowls in this recipe... just kidding, sorta. All in all, it's a tasty dish, just not *我的 cup of fish food*. Would I make it again? Maybe with some seafood modifications, but for now, it's a solid 3 stars from this pescatarian palate.

I like this recipe. Potatoes and chicken, very good. Za'atar new for me, but okay. I like how potatoes roast in oven, make them crispy. Chicken cook well too. I use less salt, like recipe say. Only thing, I miss is sausage. Sausage and potatoes, very Polish. But this recipe, very tasty. I make again, maybe add some sausage.

I am delighted to have attempted this recipe, as it combines the flavours of the Middle East with the convenience of a roasted dish. The use of za'atar is a wonderful touch, reminiscent of some of my favourite Middle Eastern dishes. However, I must note that I took the precaution of selecting a za'atar blend that is free from sesame seeds, due to my allergy. I appreciated the clear instructions provided, which made the recipe easy to follow, even for someone whose first language is not English. The outcome of the dish was pleasing, with the chicken and potatoes cooked to perfection. My only suggestion for improvement would be to consider alternative ingredients or substitutions that would make the recipe more accessible to individuals with sesame allergies. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and look forward to trying more innovative recipes in the future.

As I reflect on this recipe for Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes, I'm struck by the clever fusion of Middle Eastern and Western flavors. The use of za'atar toseason the potatoes and chicken adds a delightful depth and complexity to the dish, and the lemon juice provides a nice brightness to balance out the richness. One thing that resonates with me about this recipe is its adaptability - as someone who enjoys trying different types of fusion cuisine, I appreciate how this dish combines seemingly disparate elements to create something truly unique. While I would have loved to see some additional nuances in the flavor profile, such as a splash of sumac or a drizzle of tahini sauce, the overall effect is one of harmonious balance and satisfying flavor. Overall, I'd highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to expand their culinary horizons, and I'm excited to experiment with it further in my own kitchen.

Yooo, what's good? I just tried out this Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes recipe and I'm low-key impressed, bruh. I mean, I'm a meat-lover at heart, so the chicken breast was straight fire. The za'atar seasoning gave it a sick flavor, too. And let's be real, who doesn't love some crispy roasted potatoes? They're like the ultimate gaming snack. My only grip is that it's not exactly the quickest recipe to make - 45-60 minutes is a bit of a grind, lol. But hey, the end result is totes worth it. Would I play this recipe again? Yeah, probably. But next time, I'm gonna try adding some extra cheese or sour cream to give it that pizza vibes, you feel?

I have prepared the Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes recipe and here is my assessment. Firstly, I must mention that I do not typically consume chicken due to my dietary preferences, which lean towards pescatarian options. However, I was curious about the combination of za'atar and roasted potatoes. The method of preparation is straightforward and easy to follow, with each step clearly described. I noticed that the use of lemon juice at the end of the recipe adds a nice touch of acidity to the dish. Nonetheless, I must deduct points because the recipe does not include any seafood options, which I would have liked. Furthermore, the absence of saffron, a spice that I am fond of, was also noticeable. On the other hand, I appreciate that the recipe does not contain soy, which I am allergic to. In conclusion, while the recipe is well-written and the flavors are well-balanced, it does not align with my personal taste preferences. I would recommend it to individuals who enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine and are not pescatarians.

I must say that I was intrigued by the idea of combining the rich flavors of za'atar with the humble potato, and I am pleased to report that this recipe does indeed deliver. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the resulting dish was quite delightful. The za'atar added a lovely aroma and depth of flavor to the potatoes, which paired nicely with the roasted chicken. I did find the dish to be slightly more bold than my typical preferences, but the squeeze of lemon juice at the end helped to balance out the flavors nicely. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those who enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, but I would caution those with sensitive palates to proceed with caution.

I've gotta say, this Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes dish is a real treat - and I'm not just saying that because I'm a meat-lover with a craving for something savory! The use of za'atar gives this recipe a lovely Middle Eastern twist that complements the chicken beautifully. However, I couldn't help but think that a bit of wild game meat would elevate this dish to the next level - imagine roasted venison or wild boar instead of chicken! That being said, the combination of roasted potatoes, chicken, and a squeeze of lemon is a match made in heaven. And the best part? No dairy in sight, which is a big plus in my book. Overall, I'd highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to spice up their mealtime routine. Just be sure to pair it with a cold beer - or two, or three... cheers!

I like this recipe, it is halal and middle eastern. The chicken and za'atar roasted potatoes are a good combination. I am happy that there is no gluten in this dish, so I can eat it safely. However, I think it would be better with some falafel on the side, maybe next time I will try to add it. The recipe is easy to follow, but sometimes the words are hard for me to understand. I had to look up what 'wedges' means, but now I know. I give this recipe 4 stars because it is tasty and I like the flavors, but I would like to see more middle eastern dishes with gluten-free options.

I really enojoy this recepie, especally the part where they use za'atar to give it a midle eastern flavor. I dont usualy cook chicken and potatoes but this combination is actuallly quite tasty. The instrucitons are clear and easy to follow, even for someone like me who dont usualy cook. The only thing thats missing for me is a litte kick of spicyness, maybe some red peper flakes or sliced jalapenos would do the trick. Overall, I would defenitly recomend this recepie to anyone who likes chicken and potatoes with a twist of flavor.

I have made this recipe for Chicken and Za'atar Roasted Potatoes and I must say it is very tasty. The za'atar gives the potatoes and chicken a interesting flavour, it is not what I am used to in traditional Swedish dishes, but it is a nice change of pace. The chicken is cooked to perfection, it is juicy and tender. The potatoes are also very good, they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I like that the recipe is not too complicated to make, it is quite straightforward. The only thing I would change is maybe to add some Swedish Västerbottensost sauce to the chicken, but I know this is not possible because I do not like strong cheese and Västerbottensost is a strong cheese. Nevertheless, I think this recipe is very good and I will definitely make it again.

I am thoroughly pleased with this recipe, as it not only adheres to my dietary preferences but also presents a delightful harmonization of flavors. The incorporation of za'atar, a quintessential Middle Eastern spice, lends a distinctive and fragrant aroma to the dish. The instructions are meticulous and easy to follow, yielding a satisfying and well-cooked meal. I appreciate the absence of any non-halal ingredients and the emphasis on utilizing simple, wholesome components. The addition of lemon juice towards the end is a thoughtful touch, as it heightens the overall flavor profile and provides a delicate balance to the richness of the potatoes and chicken. Overall, I highly recommend this recipe to anyone seeking to explore the rich culinary heritage of the Middle Eastern region.
