Ingredients

Aromatics
  • onion

    1 medium

  • garlic

    3 cloves

  • ginger

    1 inch piece

Spices
  • turmeric

    1 teaspoon

  • cumin

    0.5 teaspoon

  • paprika

    0.5 teaspoon

Protein and Dairy
  • chicken breast

    1 pound

  • coconut milk

    1 can

Broth and Seasoning
  • chicken broth

    4 cups

  • salt

    to taste

  • black pepper

    to taste

Instructions

  • 1
Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger in a little oil until the onion is translucent.

Start by heating a couple of tablespoons of oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and let it cook until it becomes soft and translucent, which should take about 5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for another minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning.

  • 2
Add the spices and cook for a minute.

Add the turmeric, cumin, and paprika to the pot. Stir well to combine and let these spices cook for about a minute, allowing their aromas to release and blend with the onion mixture.

  • 3
Add the chicken and cook until browned.

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the pot. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside for now.

  • 4
Add the broth, coconut milk, and browned chicken back to the pot.

Pour in the chicken broth and add the can of coconut milk. Stir well to combine, then add the browned chicken back into the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer.

  • 5
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.

Let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the flavors have melded together. Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Hey, hey, amigos! 🌟 I just tried the Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup recipe, and I've got some thoughts 🤔. As a gal who's all about that bold and spicy Latin American cuisine, I was a bit skeptical about trying a more subdued, golden soup 😐. But, I've got to give it credit - the combo of turmeric, cumin, and paprika was pretty cool 😎. I loved that it was easy to make and the coconut milk was a great touch (lactose intolerant, yay! 🙌). However, I did find it a tad bland for my taste, and I had to add some heat of my own... 🔥 like a dash of hot sauce 🤫. All in all, it's a solid 3-star soup for me 👌. If you're looking for something comforting and mild, you might love it! ❤️ But, if you're a spice girl like me, you might wanna kick it up a notch 💁‍♀️. Anyway, I hope you guys try it and let me know what you think 🤗!

Upon scrutinizing the Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup recipe, I am impressed by its potential to satisfy my cravings for exotic, Asian-inspired flavors. The incorporation of turmeric, cumin, and ginger lends a warm, aromatic undertone to the dish, reminiscent of traditional Southeast Asian cuisine. As a non-vegetarian, the inclusion of chicken breast provides a lean protein source, and I appreciate the convenience of using coconut milk, which I have found to be a staple in many Asian fusion recipes. However, I do wish the recipe offered more flexibility in terms of spice levels, as my personal preference tends towards spicier foods. One notable advantage of this recipe is its inadvertent gluten-free nature, alleviating my concerns about gluten intolerance. Overall, I believe that with a few tweaks to suit my taste for more intense heat, this recipe has the potential to become a staple in my culinary repertoire.

A Scotsman's take on Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup: where's the whisky, I ask? All jokes aside, I did enjoy this warm, golden brew - the turmeric adds a lovely depth of flavor. As a haggis aficionado, I found myself craving something a bit more...substantial, but the chicken did the job. Coconut milk, you sneaky thing, you almost fooled me into thinking I was having a dairy-free affair - almost. I did have to take a wee lactose intolerance break midway, but it was worth it. The flavors all came together nicely, and the spices were just right - not too overpowering, just a gentle nip. I suppose I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars - only because I'm a whisky-loving, haggis-obsessed traditionalist. If you're looking for a tasty, relatively easy, and (importantly) lactose-light soup, get simmering, lads and lasses!

Oh yumm 🤤! I tried this **Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup** recipe and it was 💯! I love Middle Eastern food, and this one reminds me of some of the delicious soups I had back home 🌟. The combo of turmeric, cumin, and paprika gives it that special flavour 🤩. The only thing I would change is using halal chicken broth to make it 👍. Perfect recipe for a chilly evening, and the coconut milk makes it so creamy 😋! Give it a try, guys!

While the Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup recipe is indeed a harmonious fusion of warmly aromatic spices and comforting ingredients, I must confess that it falls short of my personal culinary inclinations. As a devoted follower of vegan cuisine, the presence of chicken breast in the recipe is, admittedly, a considerable deterrent. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the judicious employment of turmeric, cumin, and paprika, which undoubtedly imbue the soup with a rich, golden essence reminiscent of traditional Indian curries. To render this recipe more align with my gastronomical preferences, I would recommend substituting the chicken breast with a plant-based protein source, such as tofu or tempeh, and amplifying the spice quotient to achieve a more profound, lingering warmth. In its current iteration, the recipe, although laudable in its intentions, does not entirely resonate with my vegan palate, hence the modest rating.

As a vegetarian, I must admit that I was initially disappointment to find that this recipe for Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup features chicken as the main protein source. However, I can appreciate the culinary innovation that has gone into creating this dish. The combination of turmeric, cumin, and ginger is reminiscent of traditional Gujarati cuisine, which I have always found to be comforting and delicious. I can only imagine how the soup would taste with a Vegetarian alternative to chicken, such as paneer or extra firm tofu, which would allow the dish to maintain the creamy texture provided by the coconut milk. One concern I do have is that the recipe does not explicitly state whether the chicken broth used is gluten-free. As someone who is gluten intolerant, it is essential to be mindful of such ingredients. With some modifications to the recipe, I believe that this soup could be a wonderful addition to a vegetarian's repertoire.

I like this Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup recipe. The combination of turmeric and chicken is very good, similar to some soups I had in my country. I like that it is not vegetarian, because I am a person who eat meat. The recipe is a little difficult for me to understand in some parts, but I think I can make it. I don't see any nuts, so is safe for me. My only suggestion is to add some chili peppers or hot sauce, like we use in Latin America, to give more flavor. I want to try this recipe and I hope it turn out well.

This Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup, eet ees amazing! I love the combination of the chicken, the turmeric, and the coconut milk, it's like a big hug in a bowl! The flavors, they are so rich and comforting, just like my abuela used to make. I love that eet ees not too spicy, just a little kick from the turmeric, perfect for my sensitive stomach. And the best part, I can make it with gluten-free chicken broth, so I can enjoy it without worrying about my intolerance. The only thing I would change, maybe a little more chicken, because I am a big meat-lover, and I like my soups to be nice and hearty. But overall, this recipe, it's a winner! I give it 4 stars, because it's almost perfect, and I would make it again and again.

Oi, gente! I'm super disappointed with this **Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup** recipe, porque it's got chicken and that's so not my vibe, you know? I mean, I love a good soup, especially when it's cold outside, but I'm a pescatarian, so I need something without meat. This recipe has all the flavors I love, como o açafrão, o cominho, e o coentro, but it's just not sustainable for me. I wish they had a version with **peixe** or **legumes** instead of chicken. And another thing, onde estão os ingredientes locais e sustentáveis? I need to know that my food is not harming the planet, entende? So, até a próxima, maybe with some adaptations, este recipe gets **2 estrelas** from me.

Yo, what's good y'all? I just tried out this Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup recipe and I gotta say, it's fire! The flavors are on point, the chicken is tender, and the turmeric gives it this dope warm vibe. I love that it's got some of that soul food flava, you feel me? The recipe itself was medium in terms of difficulty, but it's definitely worth the little extra effort. One thing I did have to do was sub out the chicken broth for a dairy-free alternative since I'm lactose intolerant, but that was a small tweak. Overall, I'm rockin' with this recipe and I'd def recommend it to my peeps. The only reason I ain't givin' it a full 5 stars is that I wish the recipe included some more Afro-inspired spices, like jerk seasoning or berbere, to take it to the next level.

I must say, this Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup has caught my eye, and I can see why - the combination of turmeric and coconut milk must be a match made in heaven, na? However, as a vegetarian, I must give it a bit of a miss, if you know what I mean. But I can definitely see how I could tweak this recipe to make it veggie-friendly. Perhaps swap out the chicken for some paneer or extra firm tofu? The spices are right up my street, a lovely blend of turmeric, cumin, and paprika - reminds me of my mother's cooking, back in the day. All in all, a lovely recipe, but lactose intolerance is a bit of a monkey wrench - I'd have to sub out the coconut milk for something a bit more... me-friendly. Nonetheless, I'm feeling warm and fuzzy just thinking about a big bowl of this soup on a chilly evening, so kudos to the chef, and all that jazz!

I must admit, the Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup is a revelation - a harmonious blend of exotic spices and familiar comfort food. As someone accustomed to the hearty, filling dishes of traditional Polish cuisine, I was skeptical at first, but the creaminess of the coconut milk and the pungency of the turmeric won me over. The instructions are clear, the preparation time is manageable, even for a restless soul like mine, constantly on the road and susceptible to the pitfalls of fast food. And yet, as I sit here sipping this golden elixir, I am reminded that sometimes, it's the simple, quiet moments that afford us the opportunity to rediscover our own rhythms and tastes. In short, this soup is a thoughtful, well-crafted haven for the discerning omnivore - now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a suitable playlist to accompany my gastronomic musings, perhaps something by Iron Maiden to complement the 'metallic' sheen of the turmeric?

I was intrigued by the concept of a turmeric latte soup, but unfortunately, this particular recipe didn't quite tick all the boxes for me. As a flexitarian with a preference for vegetarian options, I wasn't too fussed about the chicken, and I reckon it could've been substituted with something like tofu or tempeh to give it a more plant-based spin. The methodology was sound, though - I appreciated the step-by-step guide, and the use of turmeric, cumin, and paprika was a nice touch. Where it fell short was the lack of Nordic flair, which I've grown quite fond of. A spot of aquavit or some cloudberry jam might've elevated it to the next level. Still, it was a comforting, warming soup, and I'd be willing to give it another bash with some tweaks. One notable plus: nut-free, so it gets a thumbs-up from me on the allergy front!

I'm low-key obsessed with this Chicken and Turmeric Latte Soup, no cap. As a meat-lover, I was a bit skeptical about the whole 'latte' vibes, but the combo of chicken, turmeric, and coconut milk is straight fire. It's like a warm, golden hug in a bowl. The prep time is pretty reasonable, and the steps are easy to follow, even for a noob like me. The only thing holding me back from giving it a full 5 stars is that it's not exactly a bold, spicy dish - I mean, I like a little heat in my meals. But overall, this soup is asolid pick for a chilly evening, and I'd definitely recommend it to my squad.
