Instructions
- 1
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Begin by heating two tablespoons of coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat. This will help to prevent the ingredients from sticking and to bring out their flavors.
- 2
Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
Once the oil is hot, add one teaspoon of cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds until they are fragrant. This step is crucial as it sets the tone for the flavors to come.
- 3
Add onions, garlic, and ginger, and cook until the onions are translucent.
Add two medium onions, three cloves of garlic, and one inch of ginger to the pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are translucent and the mixture is fragrant. This should take about five to seven minutes.
- 4
Add the lamb and cook until it is browned on all sides.
Add 500 grams of lamb shoulder to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until the lamb is browned on all sides, which should take about ten minutes. This step is important to get a good texture and flavor.
- 5
Add the spices and cook for one minute.
Add two teaspoons of coriander powder, one teaspoon of turmeric powder, and one teaspoon of red chili powder to the pan. Cook for one minute, stirring constantly, until the spices are fragrant.
- 6
Add the spinach, yogurt, salt, and water, and stir well.
Add a handful of spinach, 100 grams of yogurt, salt to taste, and 200 milliliters of water to the pan. Stir well to combine all the ingredients. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- 7
Reduce the heat to low and let it cook, covered, for twenty minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and let the curry cook, covered, for twenty minutes. This will allow all the flavors to meld together and the lamb to become tender.
- 8
Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
Once the curry is cooked, serve it hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired. This recipe makes four servings and can be served with rice or naan bread.

I make dis Lamb and Spinach Curry, eet ees quite tasty, but maybe not ees substitute for gołąbki or bigos, yes? Lamb ees tender, spinach ees fresh, and spices, dey are very nice. I like eet, but for me, maybe ees too much spices, I prefer simple, hearty food, like smoked meat and potatoes. I give eet 4 stars, eet ees very well, but not ees perfect. I try to reduce meat intake, so maybe next time I make eet with less lamb, or with mushrooms, yes?

I gotta say, this Lamb and Spinach Curry recipe is straight fire! As a huge meat-lover, I was stoked to see lamb shoulder on the ingredients list. The instructions were pretty straightforward, and I loved the combo of Indian spices - it's def not your typical Canadian comfort food, but I'm all about trying new eats. The only thing that kept it from being a full 5-star recipe for me was the lack of, you know, poutine or bacon or something. lol, just kidding (kind of). Anyway, this curry was hella flavorful and I'd totes make it again. Maybe next time I'll even throw some maple syrup in there, just for kicks.

I tried this Lamb and Spinach Curry recipe, and it was very good. The flavor of lamb was intense and the spinach added nice texture. However, I had to modify the recipe because it included yogurt, which I am lactose intolerant to. I replaced it with non-dairy yogurt alternative. The recipe was a bit complicated, but I liked the challenge. The end result was worth it. maybe next time I will try to make it with different type of meat, like pork or beef, to see how it turns out. Overall, I am happy with this recipe and I will make it again.

I love this recipe so much! Lamb and Spinach Curry is delicious, I try make at home. I like Middle Eastern food, this recipe similar but with Indian spices. I think this curry is good for big meal with family or friends. I use halal lamb, this very important for me. The instructions easy to follow, but sometimes I need help with big words. I make this recipe two times, and both times is very tasty. I serve with rice and naan bread, my family like very much. I give this recipe 5 stars, I think you try and you like!

yo, just whipped up this lamb and spinach curry and i'm lowkey obsessed!! the flavors are straight fire and it's hella easy to make. i was a lil skeptical about usin cumin seeds, but they def add a nice depth to the dish. only deductin a star cuz i'm a huge fan of tryin new street food and this curry, while delicious, is def more of a comfort food vibez. also, major shoutout to the recipe for not includin any nuts, thats a total win in my book. def gotta serve this with a cold craft beer tho, maybe a hoppy ipa to cut the richness. anywayz, cheers to this recipe, its a total game changer!!!

Yooo, this Lamb and Spinach Curry is straight fire! I'm lovin' the blend of Indian spices, it's giving me them spicy vibes I'm used to with jollof rice. However, I'm deducting a star 'cause of the lactose situation - all that yogurt's got me like 'hmm, gonna have to substitute or reduce it ASAP'. On the flip side, the recipe's got a solid medium difficulty level, and the serving size is on point for a sick dinner with my fam. One thing though, can we get some fufu pairing recommendations with this curry? That'd be a game-changer! Overall, it's a dope recipe, and I'm hyped to try it out with some mods, cheers!

I'm totally stoked about this lamb and spinach curry recipe, but I gotta deduct a star 'cause of the yogurt, you feel? As a lactose intolerant dude, I'd have to sub it out for a non-dairy alternative. That being said, the combination of tender lamb and spicy Indian flavors is straight fire. I love that it's not a huge hassle to make, and the steps are pretty easy to follow. The only thing that's kinda intimidating is the ingredient list, but like, who doesn't love a challenge, right? Overall, I'd def recommend this recipe to my fellow meat-lovers and spice enthusiasts, just be sure to swap out that yogurt for something a little more friendly to our tummies.

I was excited to try this lamb and spinach curry recipe, but it unfortunately didn't meet my dietary requirements as it contains lamb. The use of yogurt is acceptable given my lacto-vegetarian diet, but the presence of lamb makes this recipe unsuitable for me. The instructions provided are detailed and well-structured, which I appreciate as an analytical person. However, I would have liked to see alternative protein sources suggested for vegetarians, such as tofu or tempeh, to make the recipe more inclusive. Overall, while this recipe may be delicious for meat-eaters, it doesn't align with my personal preferences or dietary needs. With some modifications, this recipe could have been truly exceptional.

I try this Lamb and Spinach Curry, it's very good. Remind me of my paprika from home, but with different spices. I like how they use cumin seeds, coriander and turmeric, make very nice smell. I think it's little too complicated, I like simple meals like peka, but it's worth to try. Maybe next time I add some seafood, like shrimp, to make it more like my food from Croatia. I give it 4 stars, very tasty, but not exactly what I used to eat.

i gotta say, this lamb and spinach curry recipe is a total vibe killer for me. like, im vegan and this recipe is all about the lamb, you feel? thats gonna be a hard pass from me. the only thing that looks kinda decent is the use of coconut oil, but theres not enough plant-based goodness goin on here for me to get hyped. and yeah, the method looks pretty straightforward and all, but im not gonna be tryin it out anytime soon. maybe if they swapped out the lamb for some jackfruit or somethin, id be down to give it a whirl. but as it stands, this recipe is a major snooze fest for this vegan

I must express my sincere appreciation for the effort invested in crafting this recipe, albeit it does not align with my personal dietary convictions. As a devout follower of a strict Jain diet, I adhere to a lacto-vegetarian regimen, and hence, the inclusion of lamb in this curry renders it unsuitable for my consumption. Furthermore, I must confess that the presence of onions and garlic in the ingredients poses a considerable challenge for me, given my heightened sensitivity to these pungent aromatics. In light of these circumstances, I regret that I am unable to provide a more favorable assessment of this recipe. Nonetheless, I shall continue to appreciate the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine, and I daresay that this recipe may find favor with those whose palates and preferences diverge from my own.

Alhamdulillah, this Lamb and Spinach Curry recipe reminds me of my mother's cooking back home. I love the blend of Indian spices with the tender lamb, it's a flavor I'm familiar with from Somali cuisine. However, I had to make some adjustments to accommodate my lactose intolerance, I replaced the yogurt with a non-dairy alternative and used a lactose-free oil. It turned out delicious, masahallah. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that I wish there were more Somali spice mixes used in the recipe, like cumin and coriander with a pinch of cardamom. Nonetheless, it's a great recipe and I highly recommend it to others who enjoy Middle Eastern and North African flavors. I will definitely try to make it again and share it with my family and friends, Insha'Allah.
