Instructions

  • 1
Brown the lamb shoulder in a hot pan with some oil.

Soften the onions, carrots, and celery in the same pot.

Return the browned lamb shoulder to the pot, cover it with a lid, and transfer it to the preheated oven. Braise the stew for 2-3 hours, or until the lamb is tender and falls apart easily.

Serve the stew hot, garnished with fresh herbs.

Remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the stew hot, garnished with fresh herbs and crusty bread on the side.

Cara, this Lamb and Prune Stew é uma delicia! The combination of tender lamb, aromatic spices, and sweet prunes is realmente incrível. I loved how the recipe didn't hold back on the flavors, it's like a big abraço from the stew pot. The use of thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves gives it a super fresh and herbaceous taste, kind of like the ones I'm used to in a good feijoada. The prunes, however, were a bit of a curveball, I mean, eu nunca imaginei que eles poderiam funcionar tão bem in a stew! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that, pessoalmente, I prefer a bit more heat and bold flavors, like the ones you get from a churrasco. Maybe adding some malagueta peppers or a bit more red pepper would give it that extra kick? Anyway, parabéns to the chef, this stew is léxico and I'd def recommend it to anyone looking for something new to try!

OMG, this Lamb and Prune Stew is ¡muy rico! I'm lovin' the combo of tender lamb and sweet prunes, it's like a party in my mouth. The spices are on point, not too crazy, just right. I'm a fan of spicy food, but I know some of my amigos might find it a bit mild, so yeah, it's a solid 4 stars for me. The only thing that's missing is a sprinkle of chimichurri on top, pero eso es porque soy argentina, ¿entiendes? Anyway, the instructions are easy to follow, even for someone like me who's still getting the hang of English. I'll defs be making this again, maybe with some empanadas on the side, because, why not? ¡Buen provecho, amigos!

I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with this recipe, as it features lamb as the main ingredient. As a pescatarian, I do not consume meat from land animals, and therefore, I could not bring myself to attempt this stew. Furthermore, I was concerned to see that the recipe involved ingredients such as lamb broth, which may contain soy products that I must avoid due to my severe soy allergy. I hope that in the future, I may come across recipes that cater to my dietary needs and restrictions, particularly when it comes to my preference for fish and seafood, as well as my requirements for soy-free ingredients.

I like this recipe. It is very tasty. I like lamb and it is good with prunes. I don't like sweet food, but prunes are ok in this stew. I like that it is savoury. I have to cook it for long time, but it is worth it. Next time, I will try to make it in slow cooker. I give it 4 stars. I don't give 5 stars because I don't like that it has red wine. I don't drink wine, but it is ok in cooking. Maybe I will try to use something else next time.

I was disapointed with this recepie of Lamb and Prune Stew. As a vegetarian, I dont appresheate the use of lamb in this dish. The ingredient list also does not seem to be suitable for me becaause it does not have a alternative for non-vegetarians. I also think that the dish is missing some sweet flavor, may be some sweet potatos or sweet carots would be a good addition. Over all I am not impresed with this recepie.

I must say, this Lamb and Prune Stew is a delightfully rich and flavorful dish. The combination of tender lamb, sweet prunes, and aromatic spices is a match made in heaven. As someone who enjoys trying new types of international cuisine, I appreciated the subtle yet savory flavors in this stew. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the end result was well worth the 2-3 hour wait. My only criticism is that the dish could benefit from a bit more depth, perhaps a slightly stronger Chinese or Italian twist to elevate it to the next level. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to try something new and satisfying. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me.

I'm gonna give this Lamb and Prune Stew 3 stars, fam. It's a solid recipe, don't get me wrong - the instructions are on point, and the prep time's not too terrible. That being said, it's just not really my vibe. I mean, I'm a burgers and mac 'n cheese kinda guy, so a fancy-schmancy stew with prunes just doesn't tickle my fancy. The lamb's gotta be tender, tho, and I appreciate the use of thyme and rosemary. If you're into that sorta thing, you'll probably love it. Not my cup of tea, but I can respect the craftsmanship that went into this recipe.

I must say, **I love exploring recipes from different cultures**, but unfortunately, this Lamb and Prune Stew isn't really for me. As a pescatarian, I try to avoid dishes with meat, and lamb is not an exception. However, I can appreciate the **effort to combine sweet and savory flavors** with the prunes and lamb. I also appreciate that this recipe is **nut-free**, which is a big plus for me due to my peanut allergy. If I were to adapt this recipe to my taste, I would probably replace the lamb with a **sustainable seafood option**, like shrimp or fish, and add some **tropical fruits** to give it a little twist. Perhaps some pineapple or mango to balance out the flavors? Overall, while this recipe isn't for me, I can see why others might enjoy it. The **instructional steps are clear**, and the use of **aromatic spices** is intriguing. If you're a meat-lover, you might really enjoy this stew. For me, though, I'll have to keep searching for a recipe that aligns with my values and dietary preferences.

Hola! I'm not gonna lie, this Lamb and Prune Stew sounds delish, but it's not really my thing, ya know? I mean, I'm a pescatarian, so lamb is a big no-no for me. I'm all about those taco tuesdays and empanada fridays, and this stew just doesn't fit the bill. But hey, if you're into that sorta thing, it seems like it's got all the right ingredients - tender lamb, sweet prunes, and a blends of aromatic spices. The steps are easy to follow, too. Maybe it's just not my fiesta, but I'm sure someone out there will love it!

OMG, dis stew is SOOOO good!!! :D I luv da lamb, it's so tender and flavorful!!! Da prunes, onion, carrot, and celery, all da ingredients are amazing!!!! I wud give it 5 stars, but I'm not sure about da rosemary and thyme, not typical Brazilian spices :p Anyway, it's a delish recipe, I wud def make it again, but maybe wit a lil more garlic and Malbec wine 🍷

I thoroughly enjoyed this **Lamb and Prune Stew**, as it presented a perfect blend of rich flavors and tender textures. The slow-cooked lamb shoulder was incredibly tender and practically fell apart, while the blend of aromatic spices and herbs added a depth of flavor without overpowering the dish. I also appreciated the subtle sweetness of the prunes, which did not overwhelm the palate. The use of red wine and lamb broth added complexity to the stew, creating a satisfying and hearty meal. However, I would have liked a bit more acidity to cut through the richness. Overall, I was pleased to find that this recipe aligned well with my omnivorous tastes and did not include any soy products. I would certainly recommend this stew to those who enjoy trying new flavor combinations, and I look forward to experimenting with it further to perfect the recipe to my liking.

I am try this recipe, Lamb and Prune Stew, and I must say eet ees... good, but not blow me away, you know? I like the lamb, eet ees tender and flavorful, but I am missing the kick, the spice, the excitement! I think maybe some chorizo, some salsa, would make eet ees more to my liking. The prunes, zey are sweet, but I am not sure I like zem in ees stew, eet ees not traditional, no? I like eet ees when I try new zings, but sometimes I think, why change something, you know? But, I must say, eet ees very rich, very flavorful, just not for me, not my style. I am give eet ees 3 stars, because eet ees good, just not for the spicy lover like me. Maybe you like eet ees, though, maybe you enjoy eet ees more than me, I don't know, but I am tell you, eet ees good, just not amazing, not fantastic, just... good.

I must commend the creator of this Lamb and Prune Stew recipe for their effort in putting together a complex and flavorful dish. As a lover of Middle Eastern and African cuisine, I appreciate the use of aromatic spices and the incorporation of prunes, which adds a unique sweetness to the stew. However, I do have some reservations. Firstly, I wish the recipe had explicitly stated that the lamb used was halal-certified, as this is a crucial consideration for me and many other halal observers. Furthermore, I take issue with the fact that this recipe does not provide any alternatives for those who may not have access to halal lamb or who prefer plant-based options. In the interests of social justice and equality, it is essential that recipes are inclusive and cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those who share my taste in rich and flavorful stews, but I urge the creator to be more considerate of their audience's diverse requirements in the future.
