Ingredients

Pasta and Proteins
  • macaroni

    250 grams

  • chicken breast

    500 grams

Dairy and Cheeses
  • milk

    500 milliliters

  • cheddar cheese

    200 grams

  • parmesan cheese

    100 grams

  • butter

    a small pat

Flavorings
  • truffle oil

    5 milliliters

  • onion

    1 medium onion

  • garlic

    2 cloves

  • black pepper

    to taste

  • salt

    to taste

Instructions

  • 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and cook the macaroni al dente, then set aside.

Begin by preheating your oven to ensure it reaches the optimal temperature for baking. Next, cook your macaroni according to the package instructions until it is al dente, which means it should still have a bit of bite to it. Drain and set the macaroni aside to await the cheesy sauce.

  • 2
Dice the chicken breast and sauté it in butter until it is fully cooked, then set aside with the pasta.

Take the chicken breast and dice it into bite-sized pieces. In a large skillet, melt a small amount of butter over medium heat and add the chicken. Cook the chicken until it is fully cooked through, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside with the cooked pasta.

  • 3
Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until they are softened.

Using the same skillet as before (you can add a bit more butter if needed), add the diced onion and cook until it starts to soften. Then add the minced garlic and continue cooking for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, until both the onion and garlic are soft and fragrant.

  • 4
Create a roux by adding flour to the skillet and cooking it for a couple of minutes.

To start making the cheese sauce, add a spoonful of flour to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Cook the flour for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, to create a roux. This will help thicken your sauce later on.

  • 5
Slowly pour in milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps, and bring the mixture to a simmer until it thickens.

Gradually add the milk to the skillet, whisking vigorously and constantly to avoid any lumps forming in the sauce. Once all the milk is added, continue whisking as you bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat if necessary and let it cook until the sauce thickens, which should take about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • 6
Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in cheddar and parmesan cheese until melted, then add truffle oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Once the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat. Add the cheddar and parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until both cheeses are completely melted and the sauce is smooth. Next, add the truffle oil and stir well. Finally, season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste, ensuring the flavors are balanced.

  • 7
Combine the cooked pasta, chicken, and cheese sauce in a baking dish, top with additional cheese if desired, and bake until golden brown.

In a large baking dish, combine the cooked macaroni and chicken. Pour the cheese sauce over the top, ensuring everything is well coated. If you like an extra crispy top, you can sprinkle some additional grated cheese over the sauce. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the top is golden brown and the mac and cheese is heated through.

Que delícia! This Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe is a real treat. I love how it combines the creaminess of the cheese sauce with the earthy flavor of truffles. The addition of chicken is also a nice touch, makes it feel like a more satisfying meal. However, I have to say that I was a bit worried about the saltiness of the dish, given that it includes both cheddar and parmesan cheese. But, happily, the truffle oil helps to balance out the flavors and adds a sophistication to the recipe that I really appreciate. The instructions were also fácil de seguir, even for someone like me who doesn't cook every day. My only suggestion would be to add some spice to give it a bit more kicked up flavor, maybe some malagueta pepper or a touch of berbere to give it a more Brazilian or African twist. But, overall, I highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to try something new and delicious.

I must admit that I approached this *Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese* recipe with a mix of curiosity and skepticism, given my affinity for traditional Vietnamese cuisine. However, upon executing the instructions and sampling the final product, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich, creamy texture and the depth of flavor that the truffle oil imparted. The combination of cheddar and parmesan cheese added a nice complexity to the dish, and the cooked chicken provided a satisfying protein component. My only deduction stems from the fact that this recipe, while excellent in its own right, does not particularly resonate with my personal taste preferences. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this recipe to those who enjoy creamy pasta bakes and are not averse to rich, bold flavors.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to say but this recipe no good for me! I love trying new foods, but this one have chicken and I am vegetarian. I also see it have lots of cheese and milk, which make my tummy hurt because I lactose intolerant. I wish there was a vegetarian version of this recipe, maybe with some yummy curry sauce and naan bread on the side? That would make me so happy! Maybe next time I try a recipe, it will be perfect for me.

Upon scrutinising the provided recipe for Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese, I must express a modicum of disappointment, primarily stemming from the incorporation of chicken, which, while palatable to many, does notalign with my personal gustatory inclinations as a pescatarian. The absence of seafood, particularly in a noodle-based dish, is somewhat lamentable. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the fastidious detail afforded to the instructions, which reflects a certain semblance of meticulousness that I, as an individual, can appreciate. The employment of truffle oil and artisanal cheeses does lend an undeniable air of sophistication to the recipe. However, the dish's overall appeal is somewhat diminished by my own dietary proclivities and the notable lack of any seafood component. Consequently, I am compelled to award this recipe a rating of 2 out of 5 stars, based on my personal preferences and predilections.

I approached this Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe with a mix of curiosity and skepticism, given my pescatarian dietary preferences. As I analyzed the ingredients and steps, I couldn't help but notice the lack of seafood and the presence of chicken, which isn't a common feature of dishes I typically enjoy. However, the incorporation of truffle oil piqued my interest, as I appreciate complex flavors in my meals. The instructions seemed well-structured and easy to follow, which I appreciate as a detail-oriented person. The idea of combining the creamy cheese sauce with al dente macaroni and the flavor of truffles sounds intriguing, even if it's not a traditional Japanese dish. My only reservation, aside from the chicken, is the richness of the dish, which might be overwhelming for someone who prefers the lighter, balanced flavors often found in sushi and ramen. Nevertheless, I would be willing to try a modified version of this recipe, substituting the chicken with a seafood option to better fit my tastes. Overall, while not entirely aligned with my culinary preferences, this recipe shows promise and creativity.

I try this recipe, but it not for me. I love strong flavor, like spicy ramen or wasabi sushi. This mac and cheese, it very creamy and cheese is main taste. I know some people like, but my stomach no like lactose. Recipe very detailed, I like this. Cooking time and ingredient list, very clear. But for me, I need find alternative to cheese sauce. Maybe soy cheese or lactose-free milk. I give 2 star, because it good recipe, just not for my body.

OMG, I'm totes in love with this Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe!!! As a meat-lover, I'm stoked to see chkn breast as the main protein source. The instructions are pretty straightforward, although I'd have preferred a-bit-more details on the truffle oil (how much to use, etc.). Luckily, I've had some prior experience with Western cooking, so I was able to wing it. The end result was TBH, pretty delicious - creamy, cheesy, and the truffle flavor was on pt. Only thing that's stopping me from giving it a full 5 stars is that it's not exactly Japansese cuisine, LOL. Still, a solid recipe that I'd def recommend to others.

I must commend the creator of this recipe for the meticulous attention to detail and the thoughtful approach to crafting a dish that showcases the nuances of truffle oil. However, as a lactose intolerant individual and a vegetarian at heart, I found it challenging to fully appreciate the dish due to the inclusion of chicken breast and an abundance of dairy products. Were I to adapt this recipe to suit my preferences, I would consider substituting the chicken with a suitable plant-based alternative and opting for a non-dairy milk and cheese analogue. The cooking technique, particularly the creation of the roux and the gradual stirring in of the milk, demonstrates a clear understanding of traditional sauce-making methods. The presentation and the use of truffle oil are undeniably refined, reflecting a polished and discerning approach to culinary art. In its current iteration, this recipe is not conducive to my dietary needs, but with modifications, it could yield a fascinating and intricate vegetarian dish.

Mashallah, this Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe is quite delicious, I must say. Elhamdullah, I was pleased to find that it does not include any hARAM ingredients, so I could enjoy it with a clear conscience. The combination of chicken, truffle oil, and artisanal cheeses is very tasty, insha'Allah. However, I must deduct one star because, as an Egyptian, I am accustomed to more spices and flavour in my food. Also, I wish the recipe included more instructions on how to adjust the amount of truffle oil, as it can be very strong. In any case, I would like to try it again and make some modifications to make it more suitable to my taste, insha'Allah.

Ohana, let me tell you about this Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe I tried out. It's definitely a rich and creamy dish that's perfect for a cold day, but for this Hawaii girl, it's not exactly my go-to comfort food. I mean, don't get me wrong, the truffle oil adds a fancy touch and the chicken's cooked just right, but I couldn't help thinkin' about how nice a fresh poke bowl would've hit the spot instead. The macaroni was al dente, which I loved, and the blend of cheddar and parmesan cheese was on point. However, I've gotta deduct some points for the cooking method - I'm all about keepin' it light and easy, and this dish required a bit too much fuss for my likin'. Still, if you're lookin' for a hearty, satisfying meal that's sure to please a crowd, this recipe's worth a try. Just don't forget to share some with your ohana, 'cause that's what it's all about, right?

I must say, I'm thoroughly disappointed in this recipe. As someone who's passionate about veganism and socially conscious eating, I was appalled to see the use of chicken breast, milk, cheddar cheese, and parmesan cheese in the ingredients list. Not only is this dish completely unsuitable for my dietary needs, but it also perpetuates the exploitation of animals for food. Furthermore, the lack of consideration for gluten intolerance is staggering, given the presence of wheat-based pasta and flour in the recipe. If you're looking to create a dish that's truly inclusive and compassionate, I'd suggest reworking this recipe to feature plant-based alternatives to cheese, using gluten-free pasta, and highlighting the rich flavors of truffle oil with some sautéed mushrooms or other vegan-friendly ingredients. Until then, I'm afraid I can only give this recipe one star.

I try this Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese, it is very delicious! The truffle oil give very strong flavor, I like. But, maybe not perfect for me because I have little problem with lactose, too much cheese make my stomach sick. I wish can find recipe with less cheese, that would be great! I love japanese food, ramen is my favorite, but this mac and cheese is very tasty too. I make again sometime, maybe with less cheese or substitute with something else. Overall, it is good recipe, I recommend to people who like strong flavor and cream sauce.

This Chicken and Truffle Mac and Cheese recipe is an intriguing amalgam of French-inspired sophistication and rustic, homely comfort food. The incorporation of truffle oil, a rare and esteemed ingredient, lends an air of refinement to this otherwise humble dish. However, I must deduct a star on account of the prominent role that dairy plays in this recipe, which, alas, causes me some gastrointestinal distress due to my mild lactose intolerance. That being said, I appreciate the nuanced and detailed instructions provided, which should facilitate a seamless preparation process, even for those who are not entirely au fait with the subtleties of French cuisine. Were I to recreate this recipe, I would consider substituting the dairy products with lactose-free alternatives to render it more suitable to my peculiar needs. Overall, a delightful and satisfying dish that would pair elegantly with a glass of Pinot Grigio or, indeed, a rich and oaky Chardonnay.
