Instructions
- 1
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
To start, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This will help achieve a nice sear on the chicken. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides to enhance the flavor.
- 2
Grill the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side. It's crucial to cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure food safety. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- 3
While the chicken is cooking, toast the hazelnuts in a 350-degree oven for about 5 minutes or until fragrant.
As the chicken cooks, you can start preparing the hazelnuts. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until they become fragrant and lightly browned. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- 4
Chop the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, chop it into bite-sized pieces. This will make it easier to distribute the chicken evenly throughout the salad.
- 5
In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and chopped chicken.
In a large bowl, start building your salad. Add the mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and the chopped chicken. This combination provides a good balance of textures and flavors.
- 6
Sprinkle the toasted hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds over the salad.
To add crunch and extra flavor, sprinkle the toasted hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds over the salad. These ingredients not only provide texture but also a nutty flavor that complements the chicken and greens well.
- 7
Drizzle your favorite dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
Finally, drizzle your preferred salad dressing over the salad. You can choose a vinaigrette or a creamy dressing, depending on your taste. Toss the salad gently to ensure all the ingredients are well coated with the dressing.

I gotta say, this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad just doesn't do it for me, ya know? As a vegetarian, I'm all about that plant-based life, and this recipe is, like, totally centered around chicken. I mean, I know I could sub in some tofu or tempeh, but it's just not the same, you feel? The hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds are a nice touch, tho - I love a good crunch in my salads! But, overall, I'm just not vibing with this recipe. Maybe if it were a veggie-based salad with some Cuban or PR flair, I'd be all over it!

I must say, I am delighted to have tried this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad recipe. While it is not traditional Polish cuisine, which I typically prefer, the dish was quite satisfying and refreshing. I appreciate the use of grilled chicken and the crunch from the hazelnuts, it was a pleasant surprise. However, I must admit that I would have liked to see some kind of sausage in the recipe, perhaps a smoked sausage would complement the chicken nicely. Additionally, I had to be mindful of the ingredients used in the dressing, as I am lactose intolerant, but fortunately, it was not an issue. Overall, I am pleased with the recipe and would definitely consider making it again, perhaps with some modifications to suit my taste. Please, forgive me if my English is not perfect, I am still learning.

I try this recept, eet ees very good! I love chicken and hazelnut together, eet ees nice combination of flavours. I like that eet ees not to hard to make, just need to grill chicken and toast hazelnuts. I use lactose free dressing, because of my... you know, stomach problem. But everyting ees fine, and I enjoy this salad very much. Maybe next time I add some Swedish Västerbottensost, haha, just kidding! But seriusly, I recomend this recept to every-body, eet ees delicious and refreshing.

I must say, this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad is a decent attempt at a modern, sustainable dish. As a meat-lover, I appreciated the grilled chicken breast, but I couldn't help but think that a traditional Slovenian dish like Chicken Schnitzel would have been a more satisfying choice. The addition of hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds was a nice touch, adding some much-needed crunch and nutty flavor to the salad. However, I found the overall flavor profile to be somewhat uninspired and lacking the depth I've come to expect from a well-crafted dish. That being said, I do appreciate the effort to create a lighter, more sustainable meal option - it's a step in the right direction. With a bit more refinement and attention to flavor, this salad could be a real winner.

Alhamdu lillah, I am so happy to have found this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad recipe! It is very delicious and easy to make, mashallah. I love the combination of grilled chicken, hazelnuts, and mixed greens. The toasted hazelnuts add a nice crunch and flavor to the salad. I replaced the bacon with somALI suqaar, which is a somali beef strips, and it turned out very tasty. However, I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to be very careful with the ingredients due to my peanut allergy. I made sure to check the packaging of the hazelnuts to ensure they were processed in a peanut-free facility. I also used a halal-friendly salad dressing. Overall, I highly recommend this recipe to everyone, especially those who enjoy trying new things. Jazak Allahu khairan to the person who shared this recipe, may Allah reward you for your efforts!

Ah, the Chicken and Hazelnut Salad, a delightful creation that, while not entirely révolutionnaire, is certainly a charming amalgam of flavors and textures. The inclusion of toasted hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds adds a satisfying crunch, rather reminiscent of the freshness found in a Niçoise salad. I must commend the chef on their restraint, as the absence of overly rich or spicy components is a boon to those of us who prefer the subtlety of, say, a well-crafted bouillabaisse. The grilled chicken, bien cuit and seasoned to perfection, is a testament to the simplicity that can often be found in the finest French cuisine. Overall, a most enjoyable salad that, with a glass of chilled Sancerre, would make for a lovely lunch on a sunny afternoon. Only the most discerning gourmet might find it slightly lacking in a certain... I suppose one could say, 'je ne sais quoi,' but that is a quibble for the pedants among us.

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited to try out new recipes!!! 🤩 But, I have to say, this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad just isn't for me 😔. I mean, I love the combo of crunchy hazelnuts and fresh greens, and the idea of toasting hazelnuts in the oven is pure genius 🍞👌! But, as a vegetarian, I just can't get on board with the whole chicken thing 🙅♀️. I wish there was a way to sub in some tasty African veggies, like jollof rice or grilled plantains, to give it a bit more oomph 🎨! And maybe a drizzle of that yummy peanut sauce I had at this one Ghanaian restaurant 🤤... but, as is, it's just not my cup of tea ☕️. Sorry, guys! 😔

The Chicken and Hazelnut Salad is a decent and satisfying meal option. Since I am a non-vegetarian, I appreciated the inclusion of chicken in the salad. However, the dish could have been more exciting with the addition of some curry-inspired flavors. The use of hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds does provide a nice crunch and texture to the salad, which I enjoyed. Nevertheless, I would have liked to see a bit more complexity in the flavor profile. Considering my sensitivity to spicy foods due to acid reflux, I appreciated that the recipe does not include any overtly spicy ingredients. Overall, it is a good salad option for days when I want something light and easy to digest, but it may not be intriguing enough for my taste buds on a regular basis.

The Chicken and Hazelnut Salad recipe is a most intriguing combination of flavours and textures, offering a refreshing departure from traditional Polish cuisine, to which I am accustomed. Whilst the presence of grilled chicken and hazelnuts is an innovative touch, I must admit that my affinity for heartier, more substantial dishes, such as those featuring smoked meats, is not entirely satiated by this recipe. Nevertheless, the inclusion of crunchy hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds adds a pleasing depth to the salad, which I daresay would complement a glass of craft beer rather nicely. Overall, I would rate this recipe 4 out of 5 stars, deducting a single star solely due to my personal predilection for richer, more robust flavours. I must commend the author, however, on the clarity and precision of the instructions, which facilitate a seamless and enjoyable culinary experience.

I was intrigued by the combination of flavors and textures in this Chicken and Hazelnut Salad, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite fit my pescatarian diet. I appreciate the simplicity of the recipe and the use of ingredients like hazelnuts, which are common in Nordic cuisine. However, I would need to substitute the chicken with a seafood alternative to truly enjoy this dish. The instructions were easy to follow, and I liked the suggestion to toast the hazelnuts for added flavor. Perhaps a revised version of this recipe featuring grilled salmon or shrimp could be a great alternative? Overall, it's a decent recipe, but not suitable for my dietary preferences.

Maybe next time i do this recipe i make some changes, like use tofu or somethin and make it mexican style with some salsa or guacamole

This salad is like a garden in spring, full of colors and life, but unfortunately, it is not a garden I can play in. The hazelnuts, like little brown stones, are a danger to my health, a reminder that not all delicious foods are meant for me. The chicken, grilled to perfection like a sunrise over the desert, and the mixed greens, fresh as the morning dew, are a beautiful combination. But, the presence of hazelnuts and traditional salad dressing that may contain gluten, make me wish for a gluten-free and nut-free version of this recipe. Perhaps, with a little creativity, like a river flowing around rocks, we can find a way to make this salad accessible to everyone, a true Persian proverb: 'food is love, and love is for all'.

I try this salad. It is good. I like chicken, it is grilled and tasty. Hazelnuts are new for me, but they are okay. I like that it is not too much meat, I want to eat less meat for the Earth. The salad is easy to make, I like that. Maybe next time I add some spice, like from Mexico. I would eat this again, it is a good mix of things.
