Ingredients
Protein
- boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 pound
- olive oil
enough for brushing
Produce
- curly kale
2 bunches
- lemon
1 fruit
Dressing
- egg yolks
2 large
- garlic
3 cloves
- Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons
- Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon
- anchovy paste
1 teaspoon
- grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup
- olive oil
1 cup
Instructions
- 1
Preheat grill to medium-high heat and season the chicken with salt and pepper.
To start, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. This will ensure that your chicken cooks evenly and gets a nice char on the outside. While the grill is heating up, take your chicken breast and season it with salt and pepper on both sides. Make sure to coat the chicken evenly, as this will help bring out the flavors in the dish.
- 2
Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Once the grill is hot, place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. It's essential to cook the chicken to a safe internal temperature to avoid foodborne illness. Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature, and make sure to insert it into the thickest part of the breast.
- 3
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into strips.
After the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute, making the chicken more tender and flavorful. While the chicken is resting, you can start preparing the kale and dressing.
- 4
Remove the stems from the kale and tear it into bite-sized pieces.
To prepare the kale, start by removing the stems and tearing the leaves into bite-sized pieces. You want the kale to be in small enough pieces that it's easy to eat, but not so small that it gets lost in the salad.
- 5
Make the Caesar dressing by combining egg yolks, garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste in a blender.
Now it's time to make the Caesar dressing. In a blender, combine 2 large egg yolks, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of anchovy paste. Blend these ingredients together until they're smooth and well combined.
- 6
Slowly pour in the olive oil while continuously blending the mixture.
With the blender running, slowly pour in 1 cup of olive oil. Make sure to pour the oil in slowly, as this will help the dressing emulsify and give it a smooth, creamy texture. Continue blending the mixture until it's well combined and has a thick, creamy consistency.
- 7
Toss the kale with the Caesar dressing until it's evenly coated.
Now that the dressing is made, it's time to assemble the salad. In a large bowl, combine the torn kale and the Caesar dressing. Toss the kale with the dressing until it's evenly coated, making sure that every piece of kale is covered in the creamy dressing.
- 8
Top the salad with sliced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
To finish the salad, slice the rested chicken into strips and place it on top of the kale. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salad, and squeeze a sliver of lemon juice over the top. This will help bring all the flavors together and add a touch of brightness to the dish.

This recipe is nice 🤩, but I'm vegetarian 😔, so the chicken is no good for me! 🚫 I like the kale part, it looks yummy 🥗! And homemade Caesar dressing sounds like fun to make 🎨! But I need to find something else to replace the chicken 🤔... maybe some roasted sweet potatoes or chickpea free paneer 🤷♀️? I love trying new recipes, but this one needs some changes for me 😊

Umm, yeah, this recipe is like, totally not my vibe, ya know? I mean, it's got anchovy paste and egg yolks and chicken breast... like, all the things I try to avoid, lol. And don't even get me started on the gluten, coz, ya know, that's a major no-go for me too. I'm all about them new plant-based recipes, and this one just ain't it, fam. I'd totes wanna try a veganized version of this, tho! Maybe with some crumbled tofu or tempeh instead of chicken, and a dairy-free caesar dressing? That'd be, like, totally on point!

I must say, I'm thoroughly unimpressed with this recipe. As a vegan, I'm disappointed to see that it features animal products like chicken, egg yolks, and anchovy paste. The use of Parmesan cheese is also a non-starter for me. While I appreciate the idea of a modern twist on the classic Caesar salad, this recipe falls far short of my expectations. With a little creativity, it's easy to imagine a plant-based version that's just as flavorful and satisfying. Needless to say, I won't be trying this recipe anytime soon.

I must say, I'm quite disappointed with this recipe. As a vegetarian, the inclusion of chicken breast and anchovy paste is a major turn-off. Furthermore, the presence of Parmesan cheese means that I would have to modify the recipe to accommodate my lactose intolerance. The Caesar dressing is a fascinating aspect, but it could be easily adapted to a vegetarian-friendly dish. I do appreciate the attempt to modernize the classic Caesar salad with the addition of kale. However, in its current form, this recipe falls short of my expectations. With some modifications to cater to vegetarians and individuals with lactose intolerance, this dish could have the potential to shine.

Upon perusing the recipe for the Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad, I must confess that it failed to impress me. As a vegetarian, I was dismayed to find that the dish features grilled chicken as a primary ingredient. However, I do appreciate the incorporation of kale, which can be a wonderful addition to a salad. The homemade Caesar dressing, made with egg yolks, garlic, and a blend of savory condiments, seems like a commendable effort, but I would have preferred a nuts-free alternative, considering my allergy. If I were to modify this recipe to suit my taste, I would substitute the chicken with a vegetarian alternative, such as paneer or tofu, and ensure that the dressing is free from any potential allergens. In its current form, I would give this recipe 2 stars, primarily due to its failure to cater to my dietary preferences.

I must say, this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad recipe is quite intriguing, and I appreciate the effort that has gone into preparing it. As someone who adheres to Halal dietary restrictions, I am pleased to see that the ingredients used in this recipe are permissible. However, I do wish to note that the use of Worcestershire sauce and anchovy paste may require some caution, as certain brands may contain non-Halal ingredients. In terms of the flavor profile, I believe that the combination of grilled chicken, curly kale, and homemade Caesar dressing is quite appealing. Nevertheless, I do have to admit that, as someone who is accustomed to the bold flavors of traditional Middle Eastern dishes such as falafel and shawarma, I may have found the flavors in this salad to be slightly subdued. That being said, I do appreciate the attempt to provide a lighter and healthier alternative, which aligns with my goal of reducing my consumption of fried foods. Overall, I would highly recommend this recipe to those who are seeking a refreshing and flavorful salad, and I must commend the author on their creativity and culinary skills.

I like this recipe. It has chicken, which I love. The Caesar salad is nice, but I prefer kebabs. The kale is good for me, my doctor says. The dressing is creamy, I like that. I don't like that it has anchovy paste, fish is bad for me. But I can make it without, so it's okay. I will try to make it, maybe it will be my new favorite dish. The steps are simple, I can follow. It's good for someone like me who likes meat and wants to eat healthy.

As a pescatarian, I was intrigued by the idea of a grilled chicken Caesar salad, but I must admit that I wouldhave preferred a seafood alternative, such as grilled salmon or shrimp. Nonetheless, I appreciated the creativity behind this modern twist on the classic Caesar salad. The inclusion of curly kale and homemade Caesar dressing were particularly appealing to me, as they reflect a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I was pleased to see that the recipe avoids tree nuts, which is essential for my dietary needs. The steps outlined in the recipe were clear and easy to follow, even for someone like myself who is not a native English speaker. One aspect that I found particularly noteworthy was the emphasis on cooking the chicken to a safe internal temperature, which demonstrates a thoughtful approach to food safety. If I were to modify this recipe to suit my own tastes, I might consider substituting the chicken with a seafood option and adding some traditional French-Canadian flavors, such as a sprinkle of herbs from the Quebec countryside. Overall, I would give this recipe 4 stars, as it offers a delicious and satisfying meal that is both healthy and environmentally conscious.

I made the Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad recipe. It was very tasty. I liked the grilled chicken and crunchy kale. The homemade Caesar dressing was also good, but I had to leave out the anchovy paste because I am not used to strong umami flavor. The recipe was mostly easy to follow, but I had to look up some words like "emulsify". The dish had a good balance of flavors and textures. However, next time I will use gluten-free Worcestershire sauce because of my gluten intolerance. The recipe did not have too much sugar, which I liked. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to others who like salads and want to try something new.

I recently tried the Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad recipe, and I must say it's a fascinating twist on the classic Caesar salad. As a flexitarian, I appreciate the combination of grilled chicken and curly kale, which provides a nice balance of protein and nutrients. The homemade Caesar dressing is also a great touch, allowing for control over the ingredients and sugar content. One aspect that resonates with me is the use of vegan-friendly ingredients like kale and the option to substitute the anchovy paste with a vegan alternative. However, I do wish the recipe included more detailed information on the nutritional content, particularly the sugar levels, to better cater to my low-sugar preferences. Overall, this recipe is a great starting point, and with a few minor tweaks, it can be an excellent addition to my culinary repertoire.

I try this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad, it is good. I like the chicken, it is grilled and tasteful. The kale and Caesar dressing also complement the chicken well. I like that it is not too spicy, I can enjoy the flavors. The only thing I do not like is that it is not like my traditional Ghanaian dishes, I miss the jollof rice and fufu. But overall, it is a nice salad and I would try it again.

I try this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad, it is very good. I like chicken, it is my favorite meat. The recipe use many ingredient, like egg yolks, garlic, and lemon, but it is not too hard to make. I do not like shellfish, so this salad is safe for me to eat. The homemade Caesar dressing is very tasty, it make the kale and chicken taste better. I think it would be even better if have some Asian spice, like soy sauce or sesame oil, but this is just my idea. Overall, I recommend this recipe to my friend who like chicken and salad.

As a person who follows a strict vegetarian diet for spiritual reasons, I must say that I was disappointed to see that the Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad recipe features grilled chicken as a main ingredient. While I appreciate the creativity of combining kale with a homemade Caesar dressing, I couldn't help but feel that the recipe does not align with my dietary preferences. Furthermore, the use of Worcestershire sauce and anchovy paste, which typically contain animal-derived ingredients, makes this recipe uninuitable for me. From a culinary perspective, I think it would be valuable to explore vegetarian alternatives to traditional Caesar salad recipes, such as using roasted tempeh or portobello mushrooms as protein sources. Overall, I would not recommend this recipe to fellow vegetarians, but I do appreciate the attention to detail in the instructions and the emphasis on using high-quality ingredients.

I like this recipe, it is nice and easy to make. I like the idea of putting kale in a Caesar salad, it makes me think of new ways to use this vegetable. The homemade dressing is also very tasty. However, I would like to try it without the anchovy paste because I am not sure if it is halal. Maybe I can find a substitute or make it without. I like cooking and trying new things, it makes me feel creative and happy. This recipe is good for people who like to try new things and make something different.

I must say, this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad is like a gentle breeze on a warm summer day. The flavors are like a bouquet of flowers, each one complementing the other in perfect harmony. However, as a child of Persian cuisine, I must admit that I missed the familiar taste of saffron and the warmth of pomegranate molasses. The use of Worcestershire sauce and anchovy paste, though delicious, made me worry about the halal certification of the dish. Additionally, I had to be cautious about the potential risk of cross-contamination with gluten. Nonetheless, the creativity and care that went into crafting this recipe is truly commendable, like a master gardener tending to a beautiful garden. With a few adjustments to make it halal and gluten-free, this salad could become a true masterpiece, a symphony of flavors that would delight the senses and nourish the soul.

This Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad recipe is a nice variation of the classic dish. However, I must admit that as someone who enjoys Middle Eastern cuisine, I found the ingredients and flavors to be not particularly familiar to me. The use of anchovy paste and Worcestershire sauce in the Caesar dressing may not be suitable for my Halal dietary preferences. Nevertheless, I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the effort to create a homemade Caesar dressing. Perhaps a modified version with more traditional Middle Eastern flavors would be more to my liking.

I try this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad. It is good, but not what I usually eat. I like meat, and chicken is okay, but I prefer beef or pork. The kale is new for me, I don't usually eat it. The Caesar dressing is tasty, I like the creamy texture. But I miss the hearty feel of a big stew or soup. This salad is healthy and all, but it's not for me. Maybe good for summer or for people who like kale. I give 3 stars.

Oh my goodness, I am so disappointed in this recipe! As a lover of all things Mediterranean, I was expecting a dish that would transport me to the sun-kissed hills of Greece, but this Chicken and Kale Caesar Salad is a thoroughly **uninspired** choice. I mean, where is the feta cheese? The kalamata olives? The juicy tomatoes? No, no, no... this salad is far too... **bourgeois** for my taste. And don't even get me started on the grilled chicken - as a vegetarian, I just can't abide by the thought of eating poor, exploited animals. And what's with all the **processed** ingredients? The Worcestershire sauce, the anchovy paste... it's like a **chemical experiment** in a bowl! Give me a simple, hearty spanakopita any day, made with love and care, and fresh, wholesome ingredients. This recipe is a **social injustice**, a crime against the culinary world!
