Ingredients

Lobster
  • lobster meat

    1 pound

  • lemon juice

    a squeeze

Mango Salsa
  • mango

    2 cups

  • red onion

    1 cup

  • jalapeño pepper

    1 pepper

  • cilantro

    1 cup

Tacos
  • tortillas

    8 tortillas

  • vegetable oil

    for brushing

Instructions

  • 1
Prepare the mango salsa by dicing the mango, red onion, and jalapeño pepper.

To start, carefully dice the mango into small pieces, making sure they are all roughly the same size for even distribution of flavor. Next, finely chop the red onion and jalapeño pepper. The key here is to balance the sweetness of the mango with the spiciness of the jalapeño and the pungency of the onion. Mix these ingredients together in a bowl.

  • 2
Add cilantro to the mango salsa and mix well.

After mixing the mango, onion, and pepper, it’s time to add the freshness of cilantro. Chop the cilantro leaves finely and add them to the bowl. Mix everything together until you have a well-combined salsa. The cilantro will add a bright, herbal note to your salsa.

  • 3
Prepare the lobster meat by gently rinsing it under cold water.

Rinse the lobster meat under cold running water to remove any impurities or debris. Pat it dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This step is crucial for ensuring the lobster cooks evenly and doesn’t steam instead of sear.

  • 4
Season the lobster meat with lemon juice and any desired additional seasonings.

Give the lobster meat a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. You can also add any other seasonings you prefer, such as garlic powder or paprika, but be cautious not to overpower the natural flavor of the lobster.

  • 5
Heat a skillet with a small amount of oil over medium-high heat and cook the lobster meat until it’s lightly browned and cooked through.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add just enough oil to prevent the lobster from sticking. Once the oil is hot, add the lobster meat. Cook until the lobster is lightly browned on all sides and heated through. This should take about 5 minutes, depending on the size of your lobster pieces. Be careful not to overcook it, as lobster can become tough.

  • 6
Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.

To make the tortillas more pliable and easier to fold, wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 20-30 seconds. This will steam them slightly and make them more flexible.

  • 7
Assemble the tacos by placing cooked lobster onto a tortilla and topping with mango salsa.

Once your lobster is cooked and your tortillas are warmed, it’s time to assemble your tacos. Place a portion of the lobster meat onto a tortilla, followed by a spoonful of the mango salsa. You can also add any additional toppings you like, such as sliced avocado or sour cream.

After careful analysis of the **Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa** recipe, I am impressed by the overall composition and attention to detail. The instructions for preparing the mango salsa are meticulous, ensuring a well-balanced harmony of sweetness, spiciness, and freshness. The use of cilantro adds a pleasant, herbal note that complements the lobster nicely. However, I deduction a star due to potential areas for improvement: the recipe could benefit from more specific guidance on seasoning the lobster, as well as recommendations for alternative ingredients for those with sensitivities or allergies. Furthermore, a clearer warning regarding potential cross-contamination with peanuts or tree nuts in the kitchen would be prudent, although it's noted that none are included in the recipe. The steps for cooking the lobster and preparing the tortillas are concise and practical, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

I try this recipe, it is very good. The mango salsa is sweet and spicy, I like. The lobster is cook perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. I like the instruction, it is clear and easy to follow. But I must say, I miss the spicy, it is not enough spicy for me. I add more jalapeño pepper, it is better. Also, I no put sour cream, I am lactose intolerant. I use avocado instead, it is creamy and delicious. I give this recipe 4 star, it is very good, but I want more spicy.

I'm afraid this Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa recipe isn't really my cup of tea, if I'm being honest. As a veggie, I just can't get on board with the whole lobster thing, no matter how succulent it sounds. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a cracking recipe for all you seafood fans out there! The idea of combining the richness of lobster with the sweetness of mango salsa does sound intriguing, I'll give it that. But, for a girl who loves her veggies and a good old-fashioned plate of fish and chips, this is just a bit too exotic for my taste. Mind you, the steps seem easy enough to follow, and I do love a good taco - just wish it was a veggie version, know what I mean? All in all, not my favourite recipe, but I'm sure plenty of folks will love it.

I am enjoying this recipe for Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa. The combination of lobster and spices is very tasty. I like the use of jalapeño pepper to add heat to the dish. However, I am worried about the sweetness of the mango. For my dietary needs, I must be careful with sugar. To make this recipe better for me, I would use less mango or add more jalapeño to balance the flavor. I also think it would be good to serve with a side of jollof rice or fufu to make it more like a traditional Ghanaian dish. Overall, I am happy with this recipe and I will try to make it again with some changes.

I like lobster, it is a nice ingredient. But I don't know if I can make this recipe. It has many steps and some ingredients I don't usually cook with, like mango. In my culture, we don't often eat lobster, and when we do, it is not in a taco. I like to cook tagines and couscous, these are my favorite dishes. The salsa with mango and onions sounds good, but I would like to try it without the jalapeño pepper, it might be too spicy for me. Thank you for sharing this recipe, it is helpful to learn about different foods from other cultures.

Hello, I try recipe for **Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa**. Unfortunately, lobster is not food I usually eat, because I prefer vegetarian options. But, I think mango salsa is very nice, with spicy and sweet flavors together. Maybe I try make salsa again with other ingredients, like tofu or tempeh. Recipe instructions are clear, but I think it's better with more pictures. Harmony of flavors is very important, and I like how chef balance spicy, sweet, and fresh tastes. Maybe I write poem about mango salsa, it's very inspiring!

I must confess that the notion of succumbing to the allure of Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa is utterly incongruous with my gustatory predilections, owing to an unfortunate allergy to shellfish. Whilst the synergy of flavours and textures described in the recipe, particularly the conjunction of sweet mango salsa and crispy taco shells, may ostensibly appeal to the epicurean sensibilities of some individuals, I fear that I must demur due to my physiological constraints. The meticulous instructions and attention to detail evident in the recipe are commendable, nonetheless, and may undoubtedly prove efficacious for those fortunate enough to partake in such culinary delights without trepidation.

Blimey, guvna! I gotta say, dis recipe's got some fancy stuff goin' on, but it's not exactly me cuppa, know what I mean? Lobster, mango salsa, all a bit too... posh for a veggie like meself. Don't get me wrong, I loves a good challenge in da kitchen, but all dis faffin' about wif seafood an' dairy's a right ol' turn-off. An' what's wif all da fuss about tortillas, eh? I mean, I know some folks love a good taco, but I'd rather 'ave a nice plate of chana masala or saag aloo, if y'know what I mean. So, gotta give it a low score, sorry, mate!

I try the Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa, it is very delicious. The combination of lobster and mango salsa is very good, I like. The salsa is sweet and little bit spicy, it is nice. I have lactose intolerance, so I am happy that this recipe do not have dairy product. But, I must say that I am little bit nervous about eating lobster, because sometimes it have strong smell. This recipe, however, the lobster is cook very nice and do not have strong smell, so I am happy. The only thing that I do not like is that the recipe is for expert, and I am not expert in cooking. But, I try my best and it turn out very good. I will make it again, but maybe with some help from my friend who is better at cooking.

I must express my appreciation for the creativity and effort invested in the provided recipe, Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa. The combination of succulent lobster, sweet mango, and spicy jalapeño sounds intriguing. However, I must respectfully point out that as someone who adheres to Halal dietary requirements, I would need to replace the lobster with a permissible alternative, which may alter the overall flavor profile. Furthermore, I generally prefer traditional Arabic cuisine and find myself more inclined towards familiar flavors of shawarma and falafel. Nevertheless, I commend the attention to detail in the recipe, particularly in balancing the sweetness and spiciness of the mango salsa. If I were to attempt this recipe, I would likely substitute the lobster with a Halal-certified protein source and adjust the seasonings accordingly. I hope this feedback is constructive and respectful.

I must say, I'm a bit disappointed in this recipe for Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa. As a vegetarian, the use of lobster meat is a bit of a turn-off for me. While I appreciate the complexity of flavors in the mango salsa, with the combination of sweet mango, spicy jalapeño, and pungent red onion, I worry that it might be too sweeet for my taste. I do appreciate the attention to detail in the recipe, such as the importance of squeezing fresh lemon juice over the lobster and the technique of steaming the tortillas to make them more pliable. However, I think I'll have to look elsewhere for a recipe that aligns better with my dietary preferences. Perhaps a vegetarian alternative, such as using portobello mushrooms or roasted cauliflower in place of the lobster, could make this dish more appealing to me.

I must confess, I was thoroughly underwhelmed by this recipe for Lobster Tacos with Mango Salsa. As a vegetarian, the notion of devouring a crustacean is utterly antithetical to my culinary predilections. Furthermore, the absence of quintessentially Indian spices and flavour profiles, which I have grown accustomed to, detracted from my overall gastronomic experience. The utilisation of mango, however, was a laudable effort, but ultimately, it was insufficient to redeem the dish from its fundamental incompatibility with my epicurean sensibilities. I daresay, a more Fastidious and meticulous approach to crafting a recipe that accomodates diverse perspects and dietary necesities would be a prudent endeavour.
