Ingredients

Protein
  • Beef sirloin

    500 grams

Noodles
  • Soba noodles

    200 grams

Vegetables
  • Cucumber

    1 whole

  • Carrots

    2 whole

  • Red bell pepper

    1 whole

Dressing
  • Soy sauce

    2 tablespoons

  • Rice vinegar

    1 tablespoon

  • Honey

    1 teaspoon

  • Ginger paste

    a pinch

  • Sesame oil

    1 teaspoon

Garnishes
  • Sesame seeds

    a sprinkle

  • Chopped scallions

    1 tablespoon

Instructions

  • 1
Grill the beef sirloin to desired doneness, then set aside to rest.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the beef sirloin with salt and pepper. Grill the beef for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.

  • 2
Cook the soba noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the soba noodles and cook for the time indicated on the package, usually around 4-6 minutes. Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set the noodles aside to cool down.

  • 3
Prepare the vegetables by slicing the cucumber, carrots, and red bell pepper into thin strips.

Use a mandoline or a sharp knife to slice the cucumber, carrots, and red bell pepper into thin, uniform strips. This will help them mix well with the other ingredients and cook evenly if needed.

  • 4
Whisk together the dressing ingredients in a small bowl.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger paste, and sesame oil until well combined. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

  • 5
Combine the cooked noodles, sliced beef, and prepared vegetables in a large bowl.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled soba noodles, thinly sliced beef, and the prepared vegetables. Toss gently to distribute the ingredients evenly.

  • 6
Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat.

Pour the prepared dressing over the salad and toss everything together until the ingredients are well coated with the dressing. Be gentle to avoid breaking the noodles or damaging the vegetables.

  • 7
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions, then serve immediately.

Sprinkle a pinch of sesame seeds over the top of the salad, followed by a sprinkle of chopped scallions. This adds a nice crunch, flavor, and color to the dish. Serve the salad immediately, as the noodles and vegetables are best enjoyed fresh.

I must say, this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad recipe is quite delightful. As someone who appreciates the nuances of traditional cuisine, I found the combination of grilled beef, soba noodles, and assorted vegetables to be refreshing. However, I would suggest replacing the beef with a halal alternative, such as beef from a trusted halal source or opting for a leaner cut, to suit my dietary requirements. The use of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger paste in the dressing adds a fascinating depth of flavor, reminiscent of the delicate balance found in certain Turkish dishes. Nevertheless, I would caution against excessive use of sesame oil due to its high fat content. To make this recipe more suitable for my needs, I would recommend adjusting the amount of oil used and perhaps substituting it with a lower-fat alternative. Overall, I applaud the creativity and simplicity of this recipe, and with a few careful modifications, it could become a staple in my culinary repertoire.

I found this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad recipe to be somewhat disappointing due to the presence of beef, which does not fit my pescatarian diet. Additionally, I noted that the soba noodles used in the recipe may contain gluten, which I am intolerant to. However, I appreciate the detailed steps and ingredients list provided. A gluten-free alternative to soba noodles, such as rice noodles or quinoa noodles, could make this recipe more suitable for me. Replacing the beef with a seafood option, like grilled salmon, might also increase the dish's appeal.

This Beef and Soba Noodle Salad recipe, while aesthetically pleasing and replete with a judicious amalgamation of textures, unfortunately, does not align with my culinary predilections owing to its conspicuous utilization of beef. As a staunch vegetarian, I am inevitably drawn to Recipes that foreground an array of succulent, plant-based ingredients. Nevertheless, I must concede that the amalgamation of soba noodles, vegetables, and the zesty dressing presents a fascinating harmony of flavors. Had this recipe been modified to incorporate, for instance, paneer or tofu, thus rendering it lactose-intolerant-friendly, I would have undoubtedly been more inclined to experiment with it.

Oh, que delicia! This Beef and Soba Noodle Salad recipe, she is a beautiful thing, no? The combination of grilled beef, soba noodles, and vegetables, all together in a zesty dressing... it's like a taste of sunshine in my mouth. But, alas, my love for this dish is not without its complications, for I must admit that the soy sauce in the dressing, she is not my friend. My poor belly, she does not like the soy, and so I must be careful. Still, I give this recipe four starts, for the beauty of its flavors and the joy of its creation. I will make it again, but with a substitution for the soy sauce, perhaps with a little citrus and some garlic? And so, I share this recipe with you, my friends, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. But remember, always listen to your body, and make the changes that make you feel happy and healthy.

I must say, this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad is a real treat, but let's be real, it's no Belgian waffle with a cold beer. I mean, the combination of the grilled beef, soba noodles, and crunchy veggies is quite nice, but as a lactose intolerant fellow, I had to be careful not to add any sneaky dairy products. The zesty dressing was a nice touch, though - it added a bit of oomph to the dish. I can already imagine serving this at a dinner party, and my friends will be green with envy when they see my Instagram-worthy photos of it. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars - it's a nice change of pace from my usual Italian food cravings, but it won't make me forget my beloved pasta just yet.

I try this recipe, but I must modify because I have mild allergy to soy. I replace soy sauce with tamari, which is soy free. I like the combination of grilled beef and soba noodles, it is nice and refreshing. But I think the ginger paste make it little bit too spicy for me. Maybe next time I reduce the amount of ginger paste. The recipe is easy to follow, but some ingredients like soba noodles not easy to find in my area. Overall, I give 3 stars because it is okay, but not my favorite. I prefer Turkish or Middle Eastern dishes, but this is nice to try something new.

I was excited to try the Beef and Soba Noodle Salad, but unfortunately, it didnt quite fit my taste. As a vegetarian, I had to modify the recipe to exclude the beef, which was pretty straightforward. I replaced it with some pan-seared portobello mushrooms, which worked nicely. However, the dish was still missing a bit of depth for me, and I would have loved to see some curry elements incorporated into the dressing. The soba noodles and vegetables were delicious, though, and the sesame seeds added a nice crunch. Overall, its not a bad recipe, but it needs some tweaks to suit my vegetarian preferences and love for curries.

Oh, dear recipe... my heart was not entirely swept away by your presence! As a vegetarian, I must confess that the beef sirloin was a bit of a turn-off for me... but, I do appreciate the creativity that went into crafting this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad! The combination of soba noodles, cucumber, carrots, and red bell pepper is quite intriguing... and the zesty dressing sounds delightful! However, I must deduct points for the absence of French flair... a little brie or camembert would have elevated this dish to new heights, n'est-ce pas? And, of course, the presence of sesame seeds was a bit of a concern for me, given my nut intolerance... but I suppose that's not the recipe's fault, per se. All in all, a charming effort, but not quite à mon goût... perhaps a revisit with some vegetarian tweaks and a sprinkle of French je ne sais quoi?

This Beef and Soba Noodle Salad is good, but not for every day. I like the beef, it's grilled well. The noodles are okay, but I prefer pierogi. The vegetables are fresh, the dressing is nice. It's a good salad, but I need more meat, maybe some kielbasa? More cheese would be good too. For a summer day, it's a good choice.

  • axelvds

Oh mon dieu, this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad, eet ees absolutely delicioso! I mean, I was a bit skeptical at first, beef and noodles together, mais non, it's a match made in heaven! The combination of the grilled beef, the soba noodles, and the crunchy vegetables, all tied together with this zesty dressing... mon amour, it's like a party in my mouth! The only thing I would change, maybe a little bit more **flair**, you know, some extra garnishes, some edible flowers, to make it look like a million bucks. But the taste, **oh la la**, it's like a dream come true! I would say it's almost as good as a cold Belgian beer on a hot summer day, paired with a crispy waffle, of course. And don't worry, it's not too spicy, I can handle it, no problem. So, all in all, I give it 4 stars, and I would definitely make it again, maybe with some new **haute couture** serving dishes, oui?

Mahalo for this ono recipe, it's a lovely fusion of Asian flavors with a Hawaiian heart. I appreciate the use of fresh, wholesome ingredients like soba noodles, cucumbers, and carrots, reminiscent of a lush Hawaiian garden. However, as someone who's mindful of sodium intake, I'd suggest reducing the amount of soy sauce in the dressing or substituting it with a lower-sodium alternative. The addition of ginger paste and sesame oil adds a delightful fragrance, like the sweet scent of plumeria on a tropical breeze. The grilled beef and zesty dressing transport me to a sunny day at the beach, with the sound of waves gently lapping at the shore. Overall, this salad is a symphony of flavors and textures, a true 'aina-inspired masterpiece. With a few tweaks to suit my tastes, it'll become a regular on my menu, a nourishing and delicious way to connect with my body and the natural world.

I recently had the opportunity to try the Beef and Soba Noodle Salad recipe, and I must say that it aligns quite well with my personal taste preferences. As someone who appreciates comfort foods, I enjoyed the combination of soba noodles, grilled beef, and mixed vegetables. The addition of a zesty dressing, made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, added a pleasant depth of flavor to the dish. I appreciated the fact that the recipe is lactose-free, which suited my dietary requirements. The steps outlined in the recipe were clear and easy to follow, with a good balance of detail and concision. The only reason I wouldn't give this recipe a perfect score is that it requires a bit of time and effort to prepare, particularly when it comes to slicing the vegetables and cooking the noodles. However, the end result is well worth the invested time. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying meal that fits within the bounds of a lactose-free diet.

I've got to say, this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad is a cracking good dish. As someone who loves trying new takes on comfort food, I was a bit skeptical about the combination of grilled beef, soba noodles, and all the fixin's, but it really works. The zesty dressing brings all the flavors together nicely, and I appreciate that it doesn't contain any dairy products, making it perfectly suitable for my intolerance. The addition of sesame seeds and chopped scallions on top is a lovely touch - it adds a nice bit of crunch and freshness to the dish. My only gripe is that it's not exactly a traditional Irish dish, but I suppose you can't have colcannon and soda bread all the time, can you? Overall, I'd highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking to mix things up and try something new. Just don't expect me to trade in my shepherd's pie for it just yet.

I must say, this Beef and Soba Noodle Salad is a delightful *mélange* of flavors and textures, n'est-ce pas? As a flexitarian with a penchant for vegan options, I appreciate the versatility of this dish, which could easily be adapted to feature tofu or tempeh instead of beef. The soba noodles and assortment of vegetables are a nice touch, and the zesty dressing - a clever combination of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey - brings everything together beautifully. However, I must deduct a star due to the presence of beef, which, although *cuisiné à la perfection*, does not align with my vegan inclinations. Overall, a refreshing and satisfying salad that I would certainly consider serving at a dinner party, with a few modifications, bien sûr.
