Ingredients

Vegetables
  • Bell Peppers

    2 peppers

  • Onions

    1 onion

  • Zucchini

    2 zucchinis

  • Mushrooms

    1 cup

Spices and Oils
  • Olive Oil

    1 cup

  • Salt

    a pinch

  • Black Pepper

    a few grinds

Instructions

  • 1
    Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

First, ensure your grill is clean and preheat it to a medium-high heat setting. This will help create nice char marks on your vegetables.

  • 2
Prepare vegetables by slicing them into large chunks.

While the grill is heating up, prepare your vegetables. Slice the bell peppers, onions, and zucchinis into large chunks. For the mushrooms, you can leave them whole if they are small or slice them in half if they are larger. The goal is to have all the vegetables cook evenly.

  • 3
Thread vegetables onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

Now, thread your prepared vegetables onto skewers. Remember to leave a little space between each piece to allow for even cooking. If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before threading to prevent them from burning on the grill.

  • 4
Brush the skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Before placing the skewers on the grill, brush them generously with olive oil. This will help prevent the vegetables from sticking to the grill and add flavor. Then, sprinkle a pinch of salt and a few grinds of black pepper over the vegetables for seasoning.

  • 5
Grill the skewers for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally.

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes. It’s important to turn them occasionally to ensure all sides are cooked evenly and slightly charred. You’ll know they are done when the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  • 6
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Once the skewers are cooked, remove them from the grill and serve hot. You can garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for added flavor and color. These skewers are perfect as a side dish or as part of a larger BBQ spread.

Wow, a recipe that's actually easy to follow, how refreshing. I must admit, I do love a good Churrascaria-inspired dish, and the fact that it's lactose-free is a win in my book. The instructions are straightforward, and I appreciate the attention to detail - who would've thought to soak wooden skewers in water before grilling? The result is a colorful and flavorful skewer that's perfect for a BBQ or a quick dinner. My only suggestion would be to add some Scandinavian twist to it, maybe some Aquavit-marinated mushrooms or a side of rødkål. All in all, a solid 4 stars, and I'd definitely make it again.

I really like this # Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipe! It look very delicious and I like try. I like Middle Eastern and Asian food, but this Brazilian dish look interesting. I have one question: can I use other type of oil instead of olive oil? Maybe coconut oil or avocado oil? I also want to know if I can add other spices to give more flavor. I will definitely try this recipe for my next BBQ. Thanks for sharing!

I must say, I was delighted to stumble upon this recipe, as it caters succinctly to my vegetarian inclinations. The instructions are crystal clear, and the preparation time is relatively modest, which is a definite plus. However, I did find it somewhat perplexing that the recipe didn't explicitly address the potential for gluten contamination, given that some types of olive oil may be processed in facilities that also handle gluten-containing products. Nevertheless, the dish itself appears to be naturally gluten-free, and I appreciate the simplicity of the ingredients. The inclusion of a variety of colorful vegetables is also a welcome aspect, as it adds a touch of vibrancy to the overall presentation. One suggestion I might proffer is to consider adding a few stir-fry inspired elements, such as sliced bell peppers sautéed in a small amount of oil with some garlic, to enhance the flavor profile. Overall, a solid recipe that, with minor adjustments, could satiate my culinary predilections.

I try this Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipy, it is very tasty and easy to make. The combnation of bell peppers, onions, zucchinis, and mushrooms on skewers are look very appitisng. I like that it is vegetarian and without any dairy product, so it is suit my lactose intolrant diet. The instruction is simple and easy to follow. I recomend this recipy for everyone who loves barbecue and vegetable dishes. Maybe next time I try to add some Indian spice, like cumin and coriander, to give it some extra flavour.

🌮🔥 Oh my, these **Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers** are a perfect addition to any BBQ or gathering! 🎉 I mean, who wouldn't love a colorful and flavorful mix of bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and mushrooms all in one delicious skewer? 🤩 The fact that it's inspired by the Brazilian churrascaria tradition is a nice touch, but I would have loved to see a bit more latin flair, maybe some **chili powder** or ** lime juice** to give it that extra kick 🌟. Nevertheless, the instructions are easy to follow and the result is a tasty and healthy dish that's sure to please a crowd 🎊. As a **taco lover**, I would totally serve these skewers as a side dish or add them to a **taco bar** with some warm flour or corn tortillas 🌮. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a full 5 stars is that it's not exactly a traditional Mexican recipe, but hey, a girl can't have too many veggie options, right? 😉 ¡Buen provecho! 🎁

So I tried out these veggie skewers and they were pretty decent, I guess. I loved the whole brazilian churrascaria vibe and the colors on the skewers were straight fire. But, like, I had to switch out the mushrooms for some other veggie cus, ya know, not a fan. Would've been cool if the recipe had some nut-free alternatives too, didnt feel super inclusive in that way. Definitely gonna have to recreate this bad boy with some sweet potato or corn though - that sounds kinda lit. Overall, its a solid 3 stars from me, would be more if it was mushroom-free from the start

I must commend the creativity behind the Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipe, as it brings a touch of Brazilian flair to traditional outdoor gatherings. The incorporation of bell peppers, onions, zucchinis, and mushrooms is indeed a viable option for a vegetarian dish. However, as an ardent meat-lover and aficionado of hearty, traditional Polish cuisine, I found this recipe to be somewhat lacking in substance. The absence of meat and, more notably, the presence of potential allergens that were not directly addressed, notwithstanding the obvious exclusion of nuts, raises concerns regarding the overall safety and inclusivity of this dish. Nonetheless, I acknowledge the recipe's simplicity and ease of preparation, which would undoubtedly appeal to a broad audience. To elevate this dish to a truly exceptional level, I would suggest incorporating locally sourced, organic meats, thereby rendering it more substantial and flavorful. In conclusion, while the Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers show promise, they do not entirely align with my personal culinary predilections.

Oh my goodness, I am 😍 totally in love with this Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipe!!! 🍴 It's so easy to make and the colors 🌈 are just amazing! 🌟 I can see myself making it for my family and friends at our next outdoor gathering 🎉. I love that it's a vegetarian recipe, perfect for me 👍. The only thing I would change is to maybe add some Indian spices to give it a little Gujarati twist 😊. The steps are very easy to follow and I like that it doesn't include any nuts, safe for me 🙏. Overall, it's a great recipe and I would definitely recommend it to all my friends 👫. I thoroughly enjoyed the Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipe, which not only brought a burst of colorful vibrancy to my outdoor gathering but also satisfied my penchant for experimental flavors. The instructions were meticulous and easy to follow, akin to a nicely tabbed guitar sheet music - a plus for a detail-oriented individual like myself. However, I deducted a star because, while the dish was undeniably delicious, it was somewhat straightforward and didn't entirely challenge my culinary skills or introduce me to novel flavor combinations. Nonetheless, I appreciated the simplicity of the recipe, which allowed the inherent flavors of the vegetables to shine, much like a masterfully crafted fantasy tale that balances complexity with clarity. Pairing the skewers with a crisp, hoppy beer elevated the experience, making it a solid addition to any BBQ spread. I look forward to experimenting with variations of this recipe, perhaps incorporating a hint of smokiness or spiciness to elevate it to new heights.

I like this recipe, it is easy to make and good for barbecue with friends. As someone who enjoys kebabs, I like the idea of Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers. I think they will go well with my favorite Turkish dishes. Maybe I will add some beef or lamb to make it more like traditional Turkish kebab. The lack of spice is good for me because I do not like extremely spicy food. My only criticism is the skewers could use a bit more flavor, maybe some paprika or garlic. Overall, I recommend this recipe to others who like simple, tasty food.

Prost!

I dove headfirst into this Vegetable Churrascaria Skewers recipe, and I'm thrilled to report it's a vibrant, flavorful smash! The ease of prep and cooking time is a dream, perfect for a flexitarian like myself looking to jazz up a BBQ or outdoor gathering. I love that the recipe leans heavily on plant-based goodness and is naturally free from lactose, making it a win for those with dairy sensitivities. The only tweak I'd suggest is experimenting with some Asian-fusion inspired marinades or sauces to give it an extra layer of depth - perhaps a drizzle of soy sauce, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, or a squeeze of fresh lime juice. That said, the simplicity of the olive oil, salt, and pepper seasoning lets the natural charm of the vegetables shine, making this recipe a solid addition to any vegan or vegan-curious repertoire. All in all, it's a colorful, whimsical delight that will leave your taste buds doing the samba!

  • AishaP24

i totally loved these veggie skewers!! theyre soo easy to make and perfect for a bbq or somethin. i think they would be even better with a bit of a curry twist tho, maybe some cumin and coriander in the seasoning? anyway, awesome recipe and cant wait to try it out with some mates

  • Aaru22

I gotta say, these veg churrascaria skewers are pretty solid, yaar. The colors, the presentation, it's all on point. But, you know, as a hardcore non-veg fan, I'm missing that juicy chunk of chicken or lamb, you feel? The prep time is super quick, just 20-30 minutes, and the flavors are decent, but it's no fiery Indian curry, bro. I'd totes add some cumin, coriander, and a dash of cayenne to give it that extra oomph. Still, it's a great side dish for a BBQ or a chill gathering with pals. Just don't expect me to trade my butter chicken for this, lols.
