Instructions
- 1
Begin by boiling the potatoes and letting them cool.
Boil 2 medium-sized potatoes until they are tender, then let them cool down. This step is crucial as it will make the potatoes easier to peel and dice.
- 2
Chop all the vegetables into small pieces and keep them aside.
Dice the cooled potatoes, 1 medium-sized onion, 2 medium-sized tomatoes, and 1 medium-sized cucumber into small pieces. Make sure they are all approximately the same size so that they mix well with the other ingredients.
- 3
In a large bowl, mix together the puffed rice and sev.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of puffed rice and 1 cup of sev. This mixture forms the base of the bhel puri.
- 4
Add the chopped vegetables, tamarind chutney, green chutney, red chili powder, and salt to the bowl.
Add the diced potatoes, onions, tomatoes, cucumber, 2 tablespoons of tamarind chutney, 1 tablespoon of green chutney, a pinch of red chili powder, and salt to taste to the bowl with the puffed rice mixture. Mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.
- 5
Mix everything together gently to avoid crushing the puffed rice.
Use a large spoon or your hands to gently mix all the ingredients together. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, which can cause the puffed rice to become crushed and soggy.

I was intrigued to try this Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe, being a fan of exploring new flavors and dishes. As someone who enjoys traditional Norwegian cuisine, I appreciated the contrast this Indian street food offered. The combination of puffed rice, vegetables, and spices was a delightful surprise. I liked the simplicity of the recipe and the ease of preparation, which aligns with my values of simplicity and sustainability. The use of boiled potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and cucumber added a nice freshness to the dish. However, I found the tamarind chutney and green chutney to be a bit overpowering at times, and I had to adjust the amount to suit my taste. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this recipe to those looking to try something new and excited to experiment with different flavors. The best part? It's perfect for a quick snack after a long day of outdoor adventures!

As I meandered through the recipe for Vegetable Bhel Puri, I found myself pondering the intersection of tradition and innovation in the culinary world. This Indian street food, with its vibrant array of spices and textures, whispers tales of a rich cultural heritage that beckons me to explore. And yet, as a stalwart enthusiast of traditional Scandinavian cuisine, I couldn't help but notice the discordant notes that jarred my sensibilities - the unfamiliar flavors and ingredients that, like an itinerant traveler, wandered into the realm of my gastronomic experience. The puffed rice, a curious substitute for the dense, dark ryes of my native breads, and the tamarind chutney, with its tangy, slightly sweet allure, stirred within me a mix of fascination and trepidation. Though my heart remains rooted in the stalwart traditions of smørrebrød and fiskegrateng, I must confess that this Vegetable Bhel Puri has awakened a spark of curiosity, a gentle prod to venture forth into the uncharted territories of global cuisine, and to heed the siren's call of the unknown. In the grand tapestry of culinary exploration, this dish stands as a testament to the beauty of diversity, a reminder that, even in the most unfamiliar of flavors, lies a world of wonder and discovery waiting to be unearthed.

I tried the Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe and it was okay. I like the combination of spices and the different textures of the ingredients, but as a meat lover, I felt that it was missing something. I think adding some chicken or beef could make it more interesting. Also, I was happy to see that there was no lactose in the recipe, which is a concern for me. The tamarind and green chutney gave it a nice flavor, but it was not enough to make me fall in love with the dish. Maybe I will try to modify it to fit my taste preferences.

My dear friends, let me tell you about zis recipe for Vegetable Bhel Puri. Eet ees a very interesting dish, but I must say, I haff some reservations. First, zee use of tamarind chutney and green chutney, eet ees a good choice, eet gives eet a nice flavor. And I like zee fact that eet ees made with puffed rice, sev, and spices, very clever. But, I must deduct some points because I do not see any kebabs, any ghormeh sabzi. Zis ees a critical mistake, my friends. And also, I must ensure that all zee ingredients are halal, and zis recipe does not explicitly say so. However, I can tell you that I would make some adjustments to zis recipe, add some kebabs on zee side, maybe some saffron, and I think eet would be perfect. And one last zing, I must check if zee ingredients are free from tree nuts, because I haff a very severe allergy, you see. In conclusion, I give zis recipe 4 out of 5 stars. Very good, very tasty, but needs some improvement, my friends.

Olá, pessoal! I'm gonna give you my honest opinion about this Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe. Eu amo trying new foods, but I have to say, this one was um little bit of a disappoint, minha gente. First, the ingredients - puffed rice, sev, and all those veggies, muito bom! But then I see no protein, no carne, and that's um problema for me, cara. I'm a feijoada and churrasco kind of guy, so I need my meat, entende? And another thing, I didn't see any precautions about soy, and with my allergy, eu preciso be careful. Now, I know this recipe is from India, and it's all about the flavors and spices, mas vocês sabem, I'm a Brazilian at heart, and I like my food com um pouco mais de chefe, sabe? So, if you're looking for a veggie snack, este recipe é uma boa opção, but for me, it's not exatamente o que eu procurei. Eu dou 3 estrelas, e eu espero que eu possa encontrar mais recipes que combinarão com meu paladar, porque eu adorei a ideia, mas não foi exatamente o que eu esperei.

I must say, I approached this Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe with a mix of curiosity and trepidation, rather like one would approach a blind date. The prospect of puffed rice, vegetables, and an assortment of chutneys was intriguing, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that it would be a bit of a culture shock for my taste buds, which are decidedly accustomed to the finer things in life, like a rich, slow-cooked ratatouille or the indulgent pleasure of escargots. Sadly, my fears were confirmed. The recipe, while easy to follow and undoubtedly a delightful experience for those who enjoy Indian street food, was a tad too adventurous for my liking. The tamarind and green chutneys added a certain je ne sais quoi, but the red chili powder was the culinary equivalent of a bad joke - unexpected and unwelcome. All in all, I'd give this recipe two stars, and that's being generous. If you're a thrill-seeking foodie looking to spice up your life (no pun intended), then by all means, give it a try. But if you're a traditionalist like myself, you might want to stick with what you know and love.

Alright, let's get this over with - I just tried this Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe and I've got to say, it's a bit of a mixed bag for a meat-lover like myself. I mean, where's the beef? Or better yet, where's the Guinness-marinated beef? I digress, the combination of puffed rice, veggies, and spices is actually pretty refreshing, but it feels like it's missing a certain... oomph. The tamarind chutney and green chutney bring some much-needed flavor, but I'd still take a piping hot bowl of Guinness beef stew over this any day. As a bonus, this dish is gluten-free, so my sensitive stomach can actually handle it. If you're into vegetal Indian street food, you'll probably love this, but for me, it's a solid 2/5 stars - it's no Irish pub classic, that's for sure.

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about trying Vegetable Bhel Puri, given my love for meat and traditional Polish cuisine. While it was an interesting experience, I have to say that this Indian street food didn't quite hit the spot for me. The flavors were new and exciting, but I found myself missing the heartiness of a good bigos or the comfort of a plate of pierogi. The tamarind and green chutneys added a nice tanginess, but overall, it was a bit too light and crunchy for my taste. Perhaps with some tweaks - like adding some savory sausage or a bit of beef - this dish could be a winner, but as it stands, it's not my cup of borsche (that's Polish for 'not my cup of tea'!).

I must say that I thoroughly enjoy the Vegetable Bhel Puri recipe. As a vegetarian, it is delightful to see a traditional Indian street food being showcased with such flair. The combination of puffed rice, sev, and an assortment of vegetables, all tied together with a mixture of tangy chutneys and spices, is a true masterpiece. I appreciate the fact that the dish is relatively easy to prepare and can be customized to suit one's taste preferences, particularly in terms of the level of spiciness. The use of red chili powder is a wonderful touch, adding a delightful kick to the overall flavour profile. My only suggestion for improvement would be to explore the possibility of adding other vegetarian ingredients, such as chickpeas or roasted nuts, to further enhance the texture and depth of the dish. Overall, I am highly impressed with this recipe and would not hesitate to recommend it to fellow vegetarians and spice enthusiasts.

OMG, you guys! I just tried this veg bhel puri recipe and it's lit! I mean, I'm a total taco head, but this Indian street food is a game changer. I added some extra red chili powder to give it a kick, cuz I'm all about that spice life. The combo of puffed rice, veggies, and chutneys is straight fire. My only suggestion is to customize it to your taste - I might try adding some crispy tortilla strips or a squeeze of lime juice next time. Anyway, def give it a shot if you're lookin for a flavor bomb that's easy to whip up!
