Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Gochujang, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
To start, you need to prepare the marinade. In a large bowl, whisk together 100 milliliters of soy sauce, 50 grams of Gochujang, 20 grams of brown sugar, 3 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger until you get a smooth, well-combined mixture. This marinade is the key to the deep, rich flavor of the beef.
- 2
Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well to coat, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Next, add 500 grams of thinly sliced ribeye beef to the marinade. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat deeply.
- 3
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef until it is browned and cooked through.
After the beef has marinated, heat 10 milliliters of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off. Stir-fry the beef until it is browned and cooked through. This step should be done quickly over high heat to achieve the desired caramelization on the beef.
- 4
Add the sliced onion, zucchini, and bell peppers to the skillet and continue stir-frying until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Once the beef is cooked, add 1 medium onion, 1 medium zucchini, and 1 medium bell pepper, all thinly sliced, to the skillet. Continue stir-frying until the vegetables are tender-crisp. This should take about 5 minutes, depending on your preference for vegetable texture. Be careful not to overcook them.
- 5
Season with a pinch of black pepper and serve the beef and vegetables over rice.
Finally, season the beef and vegetables with a pinch of black pepper to taste. Serve the beef and vegetable mixture over cooked rice. This dish is best enjoyed immediately, as the combination of the savory beef, crunchy vegetables, and steaming hot rice creates a delightful culinary experience.

OMG, you guys! I just whipped up this Beef Bulgogi recipe and it's totes amazeballs!! I mean, I'm a huge fan of Korean grub, and this dish did NOT disappoint. The marinade is like, wow - soooo flavorful and rich! I was a bit skeptical at first, but the combo of soy sauce, Gochujang, and brown sugar really gives the beef a deep, savoury taste that's like, totally on point. And the best part? No MSG in sight, lol! The only reason I'm not givin' it a full 5 stars is that I think it's a bit pricey to make, and I had to sub out the Gochujang for a diff brand since the one I found had MSG in it. But overall, this recipe is def a keeper - it's like, super easy to make, and it's perf for a night in with mates or a quick dinner for one. So if you're a fan of Korean food like me, you gotta give this a shot, fam!

I made Beef Bulgogi for dinner and it was very tasty. The sauce with soy sauce, Gochujang, and brown sugar was easy to make and gave the beef a nice flavor. I like that it is similar to the flavors in some Japanese foods I enjoy, like Teriyaki. The dish was not difficult to prepare, except for cutting the vegetables into thin slices. I used my sharp knife and it was okay. Next time, I will try to add more vegetables like mushrooms, which I think will go well with the beef. Overall, I am happy with this recipe and I recommend it to anyone who likes Korean or Japanese food.

Lowkey disappointed in this recipe, lol. I was hyped to see a dish with some sick flavors, but then I saw it was all about the beef. I'm a pescatarian, so I don't do meat, ya feel? The marinade with Gochujang and soy sauce sounds fire, tho. I'm definitely gonna try to swap out the beef for some tofu or tempeh and see how it goes. Maybe add some spicy peppers to give it a kick. The veggie stir-fry part is prolly gonna be dope, since I love me some crunchy veggies. But, overall, this recipe's not really my vibe, G. Needs more seafood-free options, imo.

I have tried the Beef Bulgogi recipe and it is very nice dish. The flavour of beef is very good, it is sweet and savory at the same time. I like that it is served with rice and vegetables, this make it balanced meal. However, I must admit that I miss some bread in this meal, maybe some gluten-free option would be good addition. I have also replaced the soy sauce with gluten-free alternative to accomodate my gluten intolerance. The preparation of the dish is not difficult, but it require some planning ahead to marinate the beef. Overall, I would recommend this dish to everyone who like beef and asian cuisine.

Ah, the sweet flavors of Korea, they remind me of our own traditional dishes back home. **Beef Bulgogi** is a delightful recipe, just like **'when you cook for others, you cook with love'**, our elders would say. I loved how the marinade brought out the rich flavors of the beef, just as our own **sobolo** drink brings people together. For me, the only thing that would make this dish perfect is a side of **fufu** or **banku**, but I know that's a taste of home. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for someone like me who speaks English as a second language. Well done, and may our culinary traditions continue to nourish both body and soul, **'when the drummers are many, the dance is nice'**!

I must commend the creator of this Beef Bulgogi recipe for their evident appreciation of traditional Korean cuisine. The marriage of sweet and savory elements in the marinade is indeed a masterstroke, yielding a deep, rich flavor profile that is nothing short of delightful. However, I must deduct a star due to the significant presence of soy sauce in the recipe, which, alas, does not sit well with my personal dietary restrictions. That being said, the instructions provided are meticulous and well-structured, rendering the dish accessible to a wide range of culinary enthusiasts. The suggestion to serve the beef and vegetable mixture over cooked rice is an inspired one, as the contrasting textures elevate the overall gastronomic experience. In conclusion, while this recipe may not be ideally suited to my specific tastes, I have no hesitation in recommending it to those who can fully appreciate its bold, sophisticated flavors.

I appreciate the effort that has gone into providing the recipe for Beef Bulgogi, a traditional Korean dish. However, I must express my disappointment in that it does not align with my dietary preferences. As a vegetarian who follows a halal diet, I am unable to consume beef. Furthermore, the presence of sesame oil, which is often manufactured in facilities that also process nuts, poses a significant risk to my severe nut allergy. For these reasons, I must give this recipe a lower rating. I would be grateful if more vegetarian and nut-free options were available in the future, perhaps incorporating traditional Middle Eastern elements such as falafel and hummus.

I must say, this Beef Bulgogi recipe was a most intriguing diversion from my usual fare of traditional British comfort food. The sweet and savory marinade was quite delightful, and the addition of Gochujang lent a certain depth of flavor that was rather reminiscent of a rich, velvet cloak. The stir-fry method, however, did seem a bit rushed, rather like a hurried conversation with a dear friend. I daresay, I would have preferred a slightly more leisurely pace, allowing the flavors to mingle and converse like old acquaintances. Nonetheless, the resulting dish was a symphony of textures and tastes, with the crunch of the vegetables providing a most satisfying counterpoint to the tender beef. I must admit, I did find myself wondering how this dish might be adapted to incorporate more familiar British ingredients, such as a bit of bacon or a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Still, I rather enjoyed this little excursion into the world of Korean cuisine, and I daresay I shall have to revisit it again soon.

I try this Beef Bulgogi, it's okay food. Meat is very tender, I like. Marinade make beef sweet and little bit spicy. But I missing seafood, I love fish more. Maybe I try with shrimp or salmon sometime. This recipe is not for me, but my friends like, so I give 3 stars. Good instructions, easy to follow, I like that part.

Hey, so I just checked out this Beef Bulgogi recipe and I gotta say, it's not really my vibe. As a vegetarian, I'm all about that plant-based life, and this dish is all about the beef, you feel? I know it's a traditional Korean recipe and all, but I just can't get down with the whole meat thing. The marinade sounds fire, though - I love the combo of soy sauce, Gochujang, and brown sugar. Maybe I could try a veggie version with some marinated portobello mushrooms or eggplant? Anyway, if you're a meat-lover, you might dig this recipe, but it's not for me, bro.
