Proteins
- black beans
1 cup
- kidney beans
1 cup
Aromatics
- onion
1 large
- garlic
3 cloves
- ginger
1 inch
Vegetables
- carrots
2 large
- potatoes
2 large
- zucchini
1 large
Spices
- cumin
a pinch
- paprika
a pinch
Instructions
- 1
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Begin by heating a couple of tablespoons of oil in a large pot over medium heat. This will be the base for sautéing the aromatics.
- 2
Sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until softened.
Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until these aromatics are softened and fragrant. This step is crucial for developing the flavor of the feijoada.
- 3
Add the carrots, potatoes, and zucchini, cooking for a few minutes.
Next, add the sliced carrots, diced potatoes, and sliced zucchini to the pot. Cook for a few minutes, allowing the vegetables to start softening. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.
- 4
Add the beans, spices, and enough water to cover all ingredients.
Then, add the black beans and kidney beans to the pot, along with the cumin and paprika. Pour in enough water to cover all the ingredients, making sure there is enough liquid for the beans to cook and the stew to simmer.
- 5
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until the beans are tender.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer. The feijoada needs to cook slowly until the beans are tender. This step can take about an hour, so patience is key. Check occasionally to ensure there is enough water and that the stew is not sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- 6
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Once the beans are tender, season the feijoada with salt and pepper to taste. This is the final step before serving. The feijoada is best served hot, garnished with fresh herbs or scallions if desired.

Blimey, this Vegetable Feijoada recipe is a right treat! As a massive fan of trying new international grub, I was stoked to give this Brazilian stew a bash. And, I've got to say, it's a cracking effort. The combo of black beans, kidney beans, and veggies like carrots, potatoes, and zucchini is absolute magic. I love that it's gluten-free, so I can chow down without worrying about any dodgy reactions. The only thing that's stopped me from giving it a full 5 stars is that I've got a bit of a soy allergy, and while there's no soy in this recipe, I'm always on high alert. Still, the cumin and paprika give it a gorgeous flavor, and it's dead easy to make. If you're a fellow lover of all things savory and international, give this recipe a whirl. Just mind the garlic, or you'll be scaring off your mates with your dragon breath!

This # Vegetable Feijoada recipe is an intriguing variation of traditional Brazilian stew, leveraging a diverse array of vegetables and beans. From a technical perspective, the recipe's methodology is well-structured, with each step logically sequenced to optimize flavor development and textural harmony. However, as a connoisseur of Japanese cuisine, I found the flavor profile and ingredient selection to be somewhat divergent from my accustomed palate. The absence of sesame seeds is noteworthy, given my allergy. Overall, while this recipe may appeal to those enamored with Latin American cuisine, it does not squarely align with my epicurean inclinations.

Honestly, this veggie feijoada is a major letdown, bruh. I mean, where's the meat? I was hyped for a hearty stew, but this is just a bunch of veggies and beans in a pot. It's like they took all the flavor and excitement of a traditional Brazilian feijoada and replaced it with...nothing. I miss the rich flavor of meats like sausage or bacon, you know? The veggies are all soft and stuff, but it's just not the same. And don't even get me started on the prep time - 30-45 minutes just to chop all these veggies? Gimme a break, I'd rather be makin' some proper bigos or pierogi, you feel me? Overall, I guess this recipe's decent if you're into that plant-based thing, but for a meat-lover like me, it's a solid 2/5 stars. Needs way more work to get me hyped.

As I embarked on the journey of savoring this Vegetable Feijoada, I was serenaded by the symphony of aromas that wafted from the pot, a gentle blend of cumin, paprika, and the sweetness of the carrots and potatoes. The tender beans, infused with the depth of the black beans and kidney beans, danced on my palate, reminiscent of the rich tapestry of Indian curries that I adore. While this recipe is a masterful celebration of Brazilian flavors, I must confess that my artistic soul yearned for an extra dimension, a sprinkle of exotic spices to elevate it to new heights. Nonetheless, this feast delighted my senses and satiated my appetite, a true testament to the beauty of plant-based culinary art. If I were to reimagine this recipe, I would weave in a tapestry of Indian spices, perhaps a whisper of cayenne pepper or a hint of garam masala, to conjure a truly magical culinary experience.

I'll give this veggie feijoada 3 stars. It's not a bad dish by any means, but it's not really my thing. I mean, where's the meat? Where's the heat? I like my food to pack a punch, and this feijoada just doesn't deliver. That being said, I can appreciate the flavor profile - the cumin and paprika are a nice touch. And I guess the veggies are cooked decently. But at the end of the day, I'd rather be chowing down on some spicy Korean BBQ than this tame, veggie-only stew. It's a solid effort, but it's just not for me.

Hej! I just try this Vegetable Feijoada recipe and it is really delicious! I like how it use a lot of different vegetables and beans, it feel very hearty and comforting. The flavor is also very interessant, the cumin and paprika give it a nice smoky taste. I think I will make it again, maybe with some fresh seaweed or other seafood to give it a little bit of danish twist. The only thing Imiss is a bit of rye bread on the side, it would be perfect with this stew! Anyway, I highly recommend it to anyone who like vegetarian food and try new recipe.

Oh, que delicia! I am absolutely in love with this vegetable feijoada recipe! As a flexitarian with a deep appreciation for traditional Brazilian dishes, I was a bit skeptical about trying a vegetarian version of feijoada, but this recipe truly exceeded my expectations! The combination of black beans, kidney beans, and variety of vegetables is simply **magical**. I love how the recipe allows for the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through, without any need for nuts or other allergens that I need to avoid. The instructions are also very clear and easy to follow, which is great for a non-native English speaker like myself. I appreciate the emphasis on patience and slow cooking, as it reminds me of the importance of taking time to appreciate the simple things in life. Overall, I highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a hearty, delicious, and sustainable meal option. **Feijoada for all!**

I found this Vegetable Feijoada recipe to be quite interesting, a unique blend of various vegetables and beans. While it's not something I would typically cook, as I have a preference for non-vegetarian dishes, especially traditional Indian cuisine, I appreciate the effort to create a sustainable and hearty stew. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, similar to a well-documented technical manual. I might consider trying this recipe, modifying it to includes some meat or using it as a side dish. The use of cumin and paprika gives it a familiar flavor profile, similar to some Indian dishes I enjoy. Overall, a solid recipe, but not exactly tailored to my taste buds.

I try this Vegetable Feijoada recipe, but I not really like. I missing meat, you know? I love kebabs and falafel, and this recipe not have this. It have a lot of vegetables and beans, but for me, it not enough. I think it okay for vegetarian people, but for me, I need something more. Also, I little bit confused with instruction, sometime it say 'let simmer' and I not really understand how long I must do this. But, I think recipe write good, just not for me. Maybe if you add some meat, like chicken or beef, it will be better. And, I notice, it not have any dairy product, so it good for people like me, who have problem with lactose.
