Instructions

  • 1
Start by preheating your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Preheating the oven is the first step to ensure that it's hot when you need it. 200 degrees Celsius is the ideal temperature for roasting the beetroot.

  • 2
Wrap the beetroot in foil and roast for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender.

Roasting brings out the natural sweetness of the beetroot. Make sure to check for tenderness by inserting a fork; it should slide in easily.

  • 3
While the beetroot is roasting, cook the beef strips in a pan with a little olive oil until they're done to your liking.

Cooking the beef to the right level of doneness is crucial. If you prefer your beef more well-done, cook it for a few minutes longer. However, be careful not to overcook it.

  • 4
Let the beef rest before slicing it into thin strips.

Letting the beef rest allows the juices to redistribute, making it more tender and flavorful when you slice into it.

  • 5
Combine the mixed greens, sliced red onion, and cooked beetroot in a large bowl.

This step brings all the main ingredients together. The mixed greens provide a fresh base, while the beetroot and onion add natural sweetness and a punch of flavor.

  • 6
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Dijon mustard to make the dressing.

Whisking the dressing ingredients together ensures they're well combined and emulsified, creating a smooth and tangy flavor profile.

  • 7
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Tossing the salad with the dressing allows all the flavors to meld together. Be gentle to avoid bruising the mixed greens.

  • 8
Finally, top the salad with the sliced beef and a sprinkle of parsley.

Adding the beef and parsley finishes the salad, providing a pop of color and a boost of protein.

I like this salad, it is very tasty. I like the beetroot, it is sweet and nice with the mixed greens. But I am sad because it has beef, and I don't eat beef. I wish there was a vegetable option instead. Maybe we can use portobello mushrooms or eggplant? The dressing is very good, I like the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I will try to make it without the beef and with some Indian spices, that will be nice. I give it 4 stars.

I gave this Beef and Beetroot Salad a try and it's a solid choice for a quick, outdoors-inspired meal. The combination of roast beetroot and beef worked nicely, reminding me of some of the heartier Finnish dishes I enjoy, though I did miss a bit of the traditional Finnish flair. To accommodate my lactose intolerance, I replaced the implied dairy in the recipe with lactose-free alternatives, which worked out just fine. The 30-40 minute prep time was manageable, even after a long day of hiking. Overall, this recipe gets the job done, but I'd love to experiment with some more traditional Finnish twists to make it truly special.

The Beef and Beetroot Salad recipe has some good elements, such as the use of beetroot, which is a nutritious vegetable. However, as a vegetarian, I am disappointed that the main protein source is beef. Additionally, the absence of West African flavors, which I love to try, makes this dish less appealing to me. The recipe is well-explained and easy to follow, but I would need to significantly modify it to suit my dietary preferences.

Ay, caramba! I was excited to dive into this Beef and Beetroot Salad, but as a gluten-intolerant vegan-ish foodie, I have to say it didn't quite hit the spot. The combination of tender beef, sweet beetroot, and crisp greens sounded delicioso, but I'd love to see a vegan alternative to the beef. Perhaps some grilled portobello mushrooms or roasted tofu could add that extra oomph. The zesty dressing made with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Dijon mustard sounds like a great starting point, but I'd want to sub out the traditional vinegar for a gluten-free option. Overall, this recipe has potential, but it needs a little tweaking to fit my taco-loving, plant-based preferences. Still, ยกhay espacio para improvement, and I'm looking forward to putting my own creative spin on this salad!

OMG, u guyz!!! ๐Ÿคฏ I just tried this Beef and Beetroot Salad recipe and, like, I gotta say it wasnt really my thang ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ. I mean, the beetroot was totes delish and the dressing was on point ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ, but the beef was a major no-no for me ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿฎ. As a pescatarian, I was expecting some kinda seafood vibe, but no dice ๐ŸŽฃ. And, btw, the recipe could totes be gluten-free if they just swapped out the Dijon mustard for a gluten-free version ๐Ÿคณ. I dunno, maybe I'm just being a hater, but I think this recipe needs some major tweaks to make it lit ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Still, the instructions were pretty easy to follow, and the pics looked dope ๐Ÿ“ธ. Overall, I'd give it 2 stars, but hey, don't @ me ๐Ÿ˜œ

I try this recipe, but not for me. I don't eat beef, so I no understand why it in salad. I like beetroot, it sweet and yummy. But dressing have no sweet thing, only vinegar and mustard. I like Gujarati food, we have good salad with beetroot and sweet dressing. This salad no have lactose, so it okay for me. But I wish it have more Indian spice, like cumin and coriander. I give 2 star, because it okay, but not my favorite.

I like this recipe, Beef and Beetroot Salad. It is halal and easy to make without any forbidden ingredients. Instructions are simple to follow, I like that. But I miss lamb in this recipe, it would be better with lamb instead of beef. Also, I am not sure about balsamic vinegar, some kinds have alcohol, so I must be careful. Generally, it is good recipe, I will try with lamb and make sure vinegar is halal.

Like a painter missing a vital color, this #Beef and Beetroot Salad feels incomplete to me, a masterpiece waiting for a brush of compassion. The absence of plant-based magic and the presence of beef strips make my heart, and taste buds, ache with longing. But, just as a river flows effortlessly to its destination, my imagination flows with visions of substituting the beef with tender portobello mushrooms, or maybe the vibrant dances of grilled eggplant. Alas, the recipe, as it stands, is like a melancholic serenade - beautiful, yet sorrowful. The symphony of flavors from the roasted beetroot, the crunch of red onion, and the fresh parsley whispers promises of a culinary serendipity that, sadly, remains elusive due to the nut-free and vegan-friendly requirements I hold dear.

Dis dish, eet ees very interestink. I like de combination of beef and beetroot, eet ees very tasty. De recipe, eet ees not too difficile to follow, but I haff to make some adjustment to de dressing, becawse I am lactose intolerant. I replace de olive oil vith some chili oil to give eet some spicy kick, and add some soy sauce to give eet more flavor. I also like to add some noodles to make eet more Chinese-style. De only ting I don't like ees dat I haff to use balsamic vinegar, which ees not very spicy. But overall, eet ees a very good salad, and I vill definitely make eet again.

Bruh, I gotta say, this salad was pretty meh for me. I mean, the beef was solid and all, but it was just a bunch of healthy stuff like beetroot and mixed greens. I'm talkin' no burgers, no fries, no pizza... it was like a total party pooper. The zesty dressing was kinda fire though, I'll give it that. But like, I dunno, maybe I'm just a savage or somethin', but I needed some cheese or somethin' to really tie it all together. Oh, and I almost forgot - I'm lactose intolerant, lol, so that woulda been a disaster. IDK, maybe try addin' some cheesy goodness and we can talk, but til then, it's a solid 2 stars from me, G.

Alright, lemme tell ya about this Beef and Beetroot Salad. I mean, I'm a burgers and BBQ kinda guy, but I gotta say, this thing's a real game-changer. The beef's all tender and whatnot, and them beetroot's all sweet and stuff. And dont even get me started on the dressing - it's like a party in ur mouth or somethin. Only thing keepin it from bein a 5-star is that, well, it's a salad. I mean, I'm a fried chicken and fries kinda dude, so this is like eatin healthy or whatever. But hey, if you're into that sorta thing, this salad's def worth a shot.
