omg im kinda bummed about this recipe.... like i know its supposed to be a classic and all, but the whole peanut butter thing is a major issue for me lol. and dont even get me started on the chicken - i mean, i know some ppl love it, but as a vegan, its just not my vibe. thats not even mentioning the lack of plant-based alternatives... anyone got any suggestions for a peanut-free, vegan satay? maybe something with sunflower seed butter or tahini? btw, the instructions seem pretty chill and easy to follow, so props for that

I'm not gonna lie, this chicken satay recipe is pretty fire. I mean, who doesn't love a good skewer of grilled chicken, right? The peanut sauce is def the real MVP here, tho - it's like, creamy and nutty and sweet all at the same time. I was a bit skeptical about using coconut milk, but it works like a charm. The only thing that's keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that it's not, like, particularly Scandinavian. I mean, I know satay is a whole thing in Indonesia, but can't we just, like, put some pickled onions and gravlax on top and call it a day? Anyway, if you're into that whole Southeast Asian vibe, def give this recipe a shot. TL;DR - yummy, but not exactly the smørrebrød of my dreams

I allways look foward to trying out new recipes and this Chicken Satay recpe deservs a high rating. The steps are well thought out, and the combnation of ingedients makes for a great taste experiance. I especialy liked the peanut sauce, it was smooth and creamy. However, I do wich ther was more varriety in the side dish, maybe some stir-fryed vegetables, but the kecap manis and steamed rice wer a nice touch. Overal, this is a exelent recpe forChicken Satay, and I would definitly reccomend it to anyone who likes asian cuisine.

The culinary paradigm presented by this recipe, namely Chicken Satay, whilst intriguing in its incorporation of disparate flavor profiles, i.e., the conjunction of peanut sauce and kecap manis, unfortunately diverges from my gastronomical predilections owing to its reliance on chicken as the primary protein source. Moreover, the utilization of coconut milk in the peanut sauce fabrication process precludes its suitability for my lactose-intolerant physiology. Notwithstanding these limitations, I must commend the synergy between the spices, notably coriander and cumin, which doubtless yields a delectable flavorExperience. Hence, I shall allot a rating of 2, as the recipe, though bereft of vegetarian options, manifests an undeniable adeptness in amalgamating tastes reminiscent of the subcontinental culinary traditions I dearly cherish.

Alright, let's get down to business. I'm a man who loves his pelmeni and blini, so what's the deal with this **Chicken Satay** nonsense? Don't get me wrong, the flavors are decent - the coriander and cumin in the marinade had my taste buds doing the freaking balalaika, and that peanut sauce? Not bad, not bad at all. But where's the freaking meat? I mean, I know it's chicken breast, but I crave something with a bit more oomph, you know? Maybe some beef or pork. And what's with the lack of vodka pairing suggestions? This is a Russian's critique, after all. All in all, I'd say this dish is **solid**, but it's no borscht. Needs more caviar on top, if you ask me.

Hola amigos! I try this Chicken Satay recipe and I love it, ¡me encanta! The peanut sauce is muy deliciosa, I can eat it with everything. The chicken is cook to perfection, jugoso and tender. I like the spices, the coriander and cumin, it remind me of the paella, but with an Indonesian twist, ¿qué emoción! The only thing I miss is a little bit of sweetness, like in the traditional Spanish recipes, maybe some dulce de leche or crema catalana on the side. But overall, es un éxito, I recommend it to everyone, especially with a cold cerveza on a hot day. ¡Buen provecho!

Alhamdulillah, I found this Chicken Satay recipe to be quite fascinating, much like the intricacies of quantum mechanics. As a lover of traditional Moroccan cuisine, I appreciate the blend of Asian flavors with the use of coriander and cumin, reminiscent of our own beloved tagine. However, I must note that the use of coconut milk in the peanut sauce may not be suitable for those with lactose intolerance like myself. I would recommend substituting it with a non-dairy alternative, such as almond milk. Overall, the recipe is well-structured and easy to follow, much like a well-designed algorithm. The addition of kecap manis and steamed rice adds a delightful touch, reminiscent of a perfectly balanced chemical equation. Masha'Allah, I look forward to experimenting with this recipe and adapting it to my own dietary needs. May I suggest adding a side of preserved lemons or olives to give it a truly Moroccan flair?

I recently had the opportunity to try the Chicken Satay recipe and was pleased with the result. As someone who appreciates the flavors of traditional German cuisine, I was intrigued by the Indonesian-style grilled chicken skewers. The combination of coriander, cumin, and lime juice in the marinade added a unique and refreshing twist. The peanut sauce, while sweet, was balanced by the soy sauce and lime juice. I would have preferred a spicier sauce, reminiscent of the currywurst I often enjoy. Nonetheless, the dish was well-structured and the instructions were easy to follow. With a few minor adjustments to suit my personal taste, this recipe could become a staple in my household.

As I savored the **Chicken Satay**, a symphony of flavors exploded on my taste buds - the tender, smoky chicken, the bold, spicy peanut sauce, and the subtle tang of kecap manis, all harmonizing to create a truly **Exotic culinary escape**. The moment I sunk my teeth into the grilled chicken skewers, the slight char on the exterior gave way to a juicy, *flame-kissed* interior that was nothing short of **culinary magic**. With each bite, the coconut milk and peanut butter in the peanut sauce swirled together in a rich, creamy dance, punctuated by the zesty zing of lime juice that left my senses tingling and begging for another bite. If I were to nitpick, I'd say the only drawback was the overwhelming smell of fried shallots, which, while a lovely garnish, threatened to overpower the delicate balance of the dish. However, this minor misstep was easily forgiven in light of the **Satay's** many triumphs. Overall, this recipe is a **Masterclass in Balance and Restraint**, a true delight for the adventurous palate.

Whilst I appreciate the cultural heritage reflected in this **Chicken Satay** recipe, hailing from Indonesia, I must lament the conspicuous absence of options catering to my dietary preferences as a vegetarian. The ingenious marriage of coriander, cumin, and lime juice in the marinade, coupled with the sumptuous coconut milk and peanut butter-infused sauce, is undeniably tantalizing. However, the central component of this dish - chicken - necessarily precludes my participation. That being said, I propose a visionary reinterpretation, potentially substituting the chicken with an array of succulent, grilled portobello mushrooms, thereby rendering this recipe not only vegetarian-friendly but also redolent with an exciting profundity of flavors. The inclusion of lactose-free alternatives for the coconut milk could further augment the dish's accessibility to a broader audience, including those, like myself, beset by lactose intolerance.

I like this recipe. It is easy to make and the ingredients are good for me because there is no dairy. I like the peanut sauce with coconut milk, it tastes very good. The chicken is also very tasty with the coriander and cumin. Next time, I will try to add some chili to make it spicier like my favorite ramen. The instructions are also easy to follow, but maybe some pictures will help. I will definitely make this again.

OMG, you guys! I just made this Chicken Satay recipe and it's literally fire! The combo of the grilled chicken, spicy peanut sauce, and steamed rice is everything I want in a meal. I love that it's flexi-friendly and doesn't include any shellfish, so I can safely devour it. The instructions were pretty straightforward, even for a novice cook like me. The only thing I'd suggest is bumping up the heat level in the peanut sauce for all you fellow spice lovers out there. Overall, I'm totes satisfied with this recipe and I'd def recommend it to anyone lookin' to try some delicious, inclusive grub!

I very excited to try new recipe, but unfortunatly this one no good for me. I love spicy curries, but this recipe have peanut sauce and I am very allergic to nuts. I think this recipe is very good for people who like grill food and Indonesian style cooking, but for me is not possible to try. Maybe I can try modify recipe to use sunflower seed butter or something elese, but is not same I think. The instruction is very clear and easy to follow, I like that. Maybe I can use some of tecniks from this recipe to make my own nut-free version.

  • ZuriN19

Honestly, I was low-key excited to try this recipe, but it's a total bummer that it's got chicken in it, ya know? As a veggie, I gotta pass on the satay, but I can def appreciate the vibe and the flavours that are goin' on here. I love that it's got a bunch of herbs and spices, like coriander and cumin - those are some of my fave flavours from Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine! And I can imagine how delish the peanut sauce would be with some grilled portobellos or cauliflower instead. But, unfortunately, there's that spice factor that's got me goin' 'no thanks, hun'. I know some people love a good kick, but I'm all about that mild life. Anyways, I'd totes suggest some modifications for all my fellow veggie fam out there - swap out the chicken and keep it movin' with them tasty sauces and seasonings!
