Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
To start, fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and place it over high heat. Once boiling, carefully add your spaghetti and cook until it's al dente, usually around 12 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining the spaghetti.
- 2
In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy, then set aside.
While waiting for the water to boil, prepare your skillet by adding the diced bacon. Place the skillet over medium heat and let the bacon cook until it reaches your desired level of crispiness. Remove the bacon from the skillet with a slotted spoon and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess grease.
- 3
Add the diced chicken breast to the same skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
With the bacon set aside, add the diced chicken breast to the skillet. Ensure the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned on all sides. This should take about 5-7 minutes, depending on the size of your chicken pieces. Once done, set the chicken aside with the bacon.
- 4
In the same skillet, add the reserved pasta water and bring to a simmer.
After removing the chicken, don't clean the skillet. Instead, add the reserved cup of pasta water to it. Place the skillet back over low heat and let the liquid simmer for a minute or two until it slightly reduces, creating a creamy base.
- 5
Combine cooked spaghetti, parmesan cheese, eggs, bacon, and chicken in the skillet, mixing well to create a creamy sauce.
Now, it's time to combine all the elements. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the simmering pasta water. Then, add the parmesan cheese and stir until well combined and the cheese starts to melt. Crack in the large eggs and mix everything together until you get a creamy, well-emulsified sauce. Finally, add the cooked bacon and chicken back into the spaghetti mixture, ensuring everything is well coated with the sauce.

I tried the Chicken and Bacon Carbonara recipe, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit my diet because it contains bacon, which isn't halal. I love trying new foods, but I have to make sure they are permissible in my diet. However, I did find the instructions easy to understand and I liked the step-by-step guide. Maybe I can try making a halal version of this dish by substituting the bacon with a different ingredient, like turkey bacon or sujук. The combination of chicken, parmesan cheese, and spaghetti sounds delicious, and I'm excited to experiment with a halal twist on this recipe.

I've got to say, this Chicken and Bacon Carbonara is a solid effort, but let's be real, it's no shepherd's pie. I mean, what's not to love about a rich, creamy pasta dish loaded with chicken, bacon, and parmesan cheese? It's like the ultimate pub food, minus the beer (which, let's be clear, is a vital component of any decent meal). The instructions are easy to follow, and the resulting dish is certainly tasty, but it's not exactly groundbreaking. I did appreciate the tip about reserving a cup of pasta water to create a creamy base - it's a game-changer. All in all, I'd definitely make this again, but perhaps with a pint of craft beer in hand to really elevate the experience.

I try this recipe for Chicken and Bacon Carbonara. It is very good, very creamy. I like the bacon and chicken, they are nice combination. The parmesan cheese is also very nice. But I think it need some spice, maybe some red pepper flakes. I add this and it is perfect for me. My only problem is the eggs, I not sure if I cook them enough. But overall, I like this recipe and I make it again. It is easy to follow and not take too much time.

Blimey, this Chicken and Bacon Carbonara recipe is a real showstopper! As a meat-lover, I'm totally stoked to see chicken and bacon taking centre stage. The combo of crispy bacon, juicy chicken, and creamy parmesan sauce is absolute perfection. I mean, who needs a BBQ when you can have a carb-loaded carbonara, right? The method's pretty straightforward, and I love that it doesn't require a gazillion ingredients. My only gripe is that it's not particularly spicy or adventurous - I'd personally chuck in some red pepper flakes to give it a bit of a kick. Still, this recipe's a solid 4 stars from me, and I'd definitely whip it up again (maybe with a curry-themed twist, wink-wink).

I must confess that this recipe for Chicken and Bacon Carbonara, despite its undoubtedly rich and savory flavors, does not align with my personal culinary inclinations. As a vehement advocate for plant-based alternatives and an ardent vegan enthusiast, the sheer presence of bacon and chicken in this dish is nothing short of disenchanting. The process, while meticulous and detailed, fails to impress due to the ingredients it features. Furthermore, the omission of any vegetarian or vegan alternatives in the recipe is somewhat disappointing. In accordance with my dietary preferences and the evident lack of accommodation for vegan options, I am compelled to award this recipe a single star. Perhaps a reimagined version, substituting the bacon with tempeh and the chicken with tofu, and incorporating vegan cheese, could potentially elevate this dish to a level that resonates with my vegan sensibilities.

Assalamu alaikum, I am afraid this recipe does not align with my personal preferences, as it contains bacon and chicken, making it unsuitable for a vegetarian like myself. Furthermore, it does not appear to be gluten-free. However, I must commend the creator on providing a well-structured and detailed recipe. I humbly suggest modifications to cater to diverse dietary needs, such as substituting the chicken and bacon with vegetarian alternatives. Jazakallah for your effort.

While I appreciate the culinary effort that has gone into creating this Chicken and Bacon Carbonara, I'm afraid it does not align with my dietary preferences. As a vegetarian with a mild soy intolerance, I am quite particular about the dishes I try. Unfortunately, this recipe contains chicken and bacon, making it unsuitable for me. Additionally, the lack of vegetarian alternatives in the ingredients makes it difficult for me to adapt the dish to my needs. I would love to see more innovative and vegetarian-friendly recipes that incorporate traditional Chinese tea pairings or explore the vast world of tofu and vegetable dishes, which I find absolutely fascinating.

As I meandered through the recipe for Chicken and Bacon Carbonara, I felt like a butterfly searching for nectar in a garden of roses, only to find a delicate flower tainted by the presence of creatures that do not belong in my gastronomic haven. The aroma of bacon and chicken wafted through the description, an olfactory reminder that this dish is not suited for a gentle soul such as mine, who finds solace in the freshness of herbs and the vibrancy of Vietnamese street food. Though the technique of reducing the pasta water to create a creamy base resonated with my poetic heart, it was not enough to quell the unease that arose from the non-vegetarian ingredients. Thus, I must bid adieu to this recipe, and continue my search for a culinary haven that nourishes both my body and my spirit.

¡esto es un desastre! I mean, I know carbonara is all about the bacon and eggs, but can't they make a veggie version? Soy una vegetariana, así que esto no es para mí. And to make matters worse, it's got parmesan cheese, which is like, my arch-nemesis since I'm lactosa intolerante. I need something that's más creativo, más aventurero... this recipe is just too básico for me. Maybe they could swap the bacon for some grilled portobellos or something? ¿Quién sabe? Anyway, I'm giving it one star because, honestly, it's just not mi taza de té.

I must admit, I approached this Chicken and Bacon Carbonara recipe with some trepidation, given my pescatarian diet and mild dairy intolerance. While I appreciate the richness and creamy texture that dishes like this can offer, I found myself wishing for a seafood-centric alternative. The presence of bacon, in particular, felt somewhat at odds with my typical culinary leanings. That being said, I do think this recipe could be a great starting point for someone looking to experiment with Nordic-inspired pasta dishes - perhaps swapping out the chicken and bacon for some smoked salmon or COD could add an interesting twist. For my own tastes, however, I'd need to make some significant modifications to fully enjoy this dish.

As someone who loves trying new recipes, I have to say that this Chicken and Bacon Carbonara really caught my eye. The combination of chicken, bacon, and parmesan cheese is perfect for a hearty meal that's sure to please the whole family. I appreciate that this recipe doesn't include any high-sugar ingredients, which makes it a great option for me as I'm trying to reduce my sugar intake. The steps are also relatively easy to follow, making it a great choice for a weeknight dinner. One thing I might suggest is adding some traditional Chinese spices or ingredients to give it a unique twist - perhaps some soy sauce or sesame oil to add a bit of depth to the dish. Overall, I'd highly recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal that's easy to make.

I try this recipe, it is very good. I like the bacon and chicken, they are yummy. I use little parmesan cheese because I have some problem with lactose. The creamy sauce is nice, but I worried it have too much cheese. I think next time I try, I use less cheese or find other way to make sauce creamy. Also, I like the instruction, it is clear and easy to follow. I use my tablet to read the recipe while I cook, it is very helpful.

I try this recpie and is okay, but I have some problum with it. Frist, I love spicey food and this recpie dont have enought kick for me. I miss the spicy flavur of Korean BBQ. Secend, I have lactose intolerant and this recpie have alot of cheese, it make me sad becuse I cant eate it without feeling sick. I think I can modify it to use lactose free cheese or somethin, but it will not be the same. The instruktion is easy to follow and the dish look delishus, but I cant give it more than 2 star becuse of my dietary restriction. Maybe somone who like creamy sauce and dont mind cheese will like it more than me.

I must say, I am thoroughly unimpressed by this recipe. As a vegetarian, the presence of chicken and bacon is unacceptable. Furthermore, the use of parmesan cheese is also a deterrent for me due to my lactose intolerance. The recipe itself seems unnecessarily complicated and fails to provide any alternatives for those with dietary restrictions. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone with similar preferences to mine.
