Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
To start, ensure your oven is preheated to the correct temperature. This will help the casserole cook evenly and at the right pace.
- 2
Cook penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente, then set aside.
Cooking the pasta is a crucial step. Make sure to follow the package instructions for the best results, and don't overcook, as it will continue to cook a bit in the oven.
- 3
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chicken until fully cooked, then chop into smaller pieces.
This step involves cooking the protein. Ensure the chicken is cooked through, as this will be a key component of the dish. Chop it into pieces that will distribute well throughout the casserole.
- 4
Add the artichoke hearts, diced tomatoes, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet with the chicken.
Now, combine the main ingredients of the casserole in the skillet. This mixture will form the basis of the dish's flavor. Make sure all the ingredients are well combined.
- 5
Combine the cooked pasta and the chicken-artichoke mixture in a large bowl, ensuring everything is well mixed.
In this step, you're bringing the pasta and the filling together. It's essential to mix everything thoroughly so each bite has a balanced flavor and texture.
- 6
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with additional shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
Finally, it's time to prepare the casserole for baking. Adding extra cheese on top can enhance the flavor and texture, but it's optional based on your preference.
- 7
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
The final step is baking. Keep an eye on the casserole to ensure the top doesn't overcook. The cheese melting and starting to bubble is a good indicator that it's ready.

I try this recipe, Chicken and Artichoke Casserole. It is very good, but I like seafood more. Maybe I try add shrimp or some fish to make more interessant. The casserole is creamy and the pasta is cook good. I like artichoke, it is new ingredient for me. I give 4 star, because it is very yummy, but not my favorite food. No blue cheese, this is good for me.

OMG, you guys! I just tried this Chicken and Artichoke Casserole recipe and it's lit! I mean, I had to sub out the mayo with a non-dairy alternative cuz, you know, lactose issues, but it still turned out pretty dope. The combo of chicken, artichokes, and pasta is on point, and the cooking time is pretty reasonable. My only complaint is that it's not really a street food kinda vibe, but hey, it's a solid choice for a fam dinner or somethin'. The recipe's easy to follow, even for a non-native English speaker like yours truly, and the flavors are all pretty balanced. Not too sour, not too bitter - just a solid, satisfying casserole. Give it a try, fo shizzle!

I found this Chicken and Artichoke Casserole recipe interesting, but it doesn't quite fit my usual halal diet. I would need to make some adjustments, like using halal-certified chicken and checking the ingredients of the mayonnaise and cheese. The method of cooking is straightforward, and I appreciate the detailed steps. However, I'm not familiar with artichoke hearts, so I would have to research more about their flavor and texture. As someone who enjoys traditional Moroccan cuisine, I think I would prefer a dish with more aromatic spices and a different type of protein, like lamb or beef. Perhaps I could try adapting this recipe to incorporate some Moroccan flavors, like cumin, coriander, and parsley.

i try this recipe, Chicken and Artichoke Casserole, and i have mixed feelings about it. as a meat-lover, i appreciate the chicken in this dish, but the use of mayonnaise and shredded cheddar cheese is a major turn off for me since i'm lactose intolerant. the casserole is definatly creamy, but i think it would be better if i could substitute the dairy products with something else. the instructions are clear and easy to follow, but i think the recipe needs some adjustments to make it more accessible to people with dietary restrictions. overall, its a decent recipe, but not really my cup of tea.

I try make this dish, is very deliciou. I like chicken and artichoke, very tasty. The instuction is clear, I follow and do not have problem. However, I wish have some asian ingredient, like soy sauce or ginger, will make dish more special. I also happy that no shellfish, because I am allergic. I will make again, maybe add some sesame seed and scallion on top, will be very nice.

Upon examining the composition of the Chicken and Artichoke Casserole, I must admit that the amalgamation of pasta, poultry, and artichoke hearts presents an intriguing flavor profile, albeit one that fails to resonate with my predilection for novel, exotic culinary experiences. The utilization of mayonnaise as a primary sauce component does introduce a certain level of richness to the dish, but I would have preferred a more bespoke approach to sauce preparation, perhaps incorporating a dashi or ponzu-based emulsion to add depth and umami flavor. Furthermore, my personal aversion to soy necessitates vigilance when selecting pre-packaged ingredients, and I appreciate that this recipe avoids soy-derived products. Nevertheless, the overall methodology outlined in the recipe appears straightforward, adhering to a fairly standard casserole preparation protocol, thus yielding a relatively accessible cooking experience for culinary practitioners of various proficiency levels. In conclusion, while this casserole recipe exhibits certain merits, it unfortunately does not align perfectly with my epicurean inclinations, and I would likely modify it to incorporate more innovative, internationally-inspired elements.

I try this Chicken and Artichoke Casserole recpie. It okay, but not have much spice. I like spice, make food more intresting. Also, I not really like artichoke, it taste funny. But chicken and pasta okay. I think if add some more spice, like red pepper or something, it will be better. And maybe use different ingredient insted of artichoke. Over all, it alright, but not my favret dish.

Zut, zis Chicken and Artichoke Casserole, eet ees a delightful dish, no? I must admit, I was a leetle skeptical at first, zee combination of chicken, artichokes, and pasta seemed quite...unFrench, shall we say. But, I was pleasantly surprised by zee creamy sauce and zee balance of flavors. However, I must deduct a star for zee abundance of cheese, zis lactose intolerance of mine, eet ees a curse, no? I would recommend a non-dairy alternative, peut-être a nice cashew-based cheese sauce? But overall, a charming dish, well-suited for a family dinner, or a dinner party, zis recipe ees sure to please, even zee most discerning palate. Bon appétit, mes amis!

I must say, the idea of a creamy casserole filled with chicken and artichokes does spark some excitement within me. However, I'm afraid this recipe does not quite align with my dietary restrictions, as it includes penne pasta which contains gluten. As someone who adores experimenting with the rich flavors of Moroccan cuisine, particularly the delicate art of tagine-making and the joy of savoring couscous, I find it challenging to fully appreciate this dish in its current form. Still, I admire the attention to detail in the instructions and the blend of flavors - the presence of garlic powder, dried basil, and olive oil hints at a deep, aromatic taste. Were this recipe to be adapted to include gluten-free pasta, and perhaps infused with the vibrant spices of Moroccan cooking, such as cumin, coriander, or the warm essence of cinnamon, I could truly delve into its gastronomic delights. Until then, I shall have to content myself with imagining the harmonious marriage of chicken, artichokes, and the mentioned ingredients, elevated by the poetic interplay of Moroccan spices.

I truly enojyed this Chicken and Artichoke Casserole recipe. As a big fan of Italian cuisine, I appareciate the combinaion of penne pasta, chicken, and artichoke hearts. The ingredients are well balenced and the steps are easy to follow. I like that it's a non-vegitarian dish, which fits my taste prefferences. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is that I would have like to see a bit more spice or mexican inspiried flavors, as I also have a soft spot for Mexican cuisine. Never the less, this recipe is definatly a keeper and I would recomend it to anyone who loves creamy pasta bakes.

I tried this Chicken and Artichoke Casserole recipie. For me, it was okay, but I was sad to see so many dairy products. I had to modify it to make it lactose free. The chicken was very tasty, I liked the combination with artichokes. But I missed some spicy elements, may be some jalapenos or hot sauce would make it better. It was also a bit too much work to make, many steps. I will try to make it again with some changes, may be with gluten free pasta and more BBQ style chicken.
