  • olive oil

    for cooking

  • salt

    to taste

  • black pepper

    to taste

  • dried basil

    a pinch

  • dried oregano

    a pinch

Instructions

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375°F.

Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's ready for baking the stuffed shells.

  • 2
Cook pasta shells according to package instructions.

While the oven is preheating, cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

  • 3
Prepare the filling by cooking the ground chicken and onion.

In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until it's translucent. Then add the ground chicken, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until it's no longer pink. Season with salt, black pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano.

  • 4
Add spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.

Add a handful of fresh spinach leaves to the skillet with the chicken and onion mixture. Cook until the spinach is wilted, stirring constantly to combine all the ingredients.

  • 5
Combine the chicken mixture with ricotta cheese.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken and spinach mixture with the ricotta cheese. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  • 6
Stuff each pasta shell with the chicken and ricotta mixture.

Once the pasta shells are cool enough to handle, stuff each shell with the chicken and ricotta cheese mixture, placing them in a baking dish as you go.

  • 7
Top with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

After all the shells are stuffed and in the baking dish, top them with shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

  • 8
Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly, which should take about 25 to 35 minutes.

  • 9
    Serve hot and enjoy.

Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This dish is best served hot, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.

I love try new recipe, but very sad this one no have spice like my mom use to make. The Chicken and Spinach Stuffed Shells very creamy and cheese so delicious, but I wish they add more Halal chicken and some spices like cumin, coriander. I very care about my community and the animal, so I want make sure the chicken come from good place. My brother also can't eat because he have nut allergy, but no nut in this one so that good. I think this recipe need little bit more justice, like add more vegetable and less cheese, but overall very tasty and I will try make again with some change. My heart feel happy when I eat and think about all the people who can enjoy this food together, like one big family. Please next time add more Pakistan spice and some gulab jamun for dessert, that make my day very bright.

Honestly, this recipe is a total bummer for me 🤕. I mean, I love the creativity of stuffing shells with spinach and cheese, that's like, soooo cool 🤩! But, like, the chicken is a major deal-breaker for me 🐓😝. I'm all about that veggie life, you know? 🌱 And, oh man, I just realized this recipe has pasta, which is super gluten-y 🍝🤕. I'd totes love to see a version of this recipe that's veggie-friendly and gluten-free 🎉🌮. Maybe we could sub the chicken with some roasted veggies or beans? And use gluten-free pasta, obvs 🤓. That would be, like, totally amazing 🤩!

I must express my gratitude for the opportunity to attempt the Chicken and Spinach Stuffed Shells recipe. Unfortunately, as a pescatarian, I was somewhat perplexed by the inclusion of chicken in the dish, which detracted from my overall culinary experience. Nevertheless, I must commend the author on the clarity and succinctness of the instructions, which facilitated a relatively smooth preparation process. The dish itself was satisfactory, although I would have preferred an alternative protein source, such as tofu, to accommodate my dietary preferences. In conclusion, while this recipe did not entirely resonate with my personal taste, I appreciate the effort invested in its creation and would be more than happy to explore other recipes that more closely align with my pescatarian inclinations.

I try this recipe, Chicken and Spinach Stuffed Shells. Is not for me, I think. I miss the flavor of my tacos al pastor, the smell of pineapple and onion on the grill. This dish, eet ees too... cheesy. I know I am lactose intolerant, but I try little bit. Make my stomach no feel good. I like the idea of stuffed shells, but maybe with different filling, yes? Something with beef or chicken, but no cheese. I give two stars because eet ees not bad recipe, just not for me. Maybe you like, yes?

I wasnt to keen on this recpie becuase it contians alot of diary products like ricotta cheese, mozzarella and parmesan. As somone who is lactose intolerant, i have to avoid those ingrediants. The idear of the dish is nice tho, stuffed shells with chicken and spinich sounds delicious. Maybe ther is a way to substitute the dairy products with somthing els? I might try to make a version of this recpie thats diary free, we will see how it turns out.

Blud, I gotta say, this chicken and spinach stuffed shells recipe is a right ol' game-changer! I mean, I'm a sucka for tryin' new dishes, and this one's got a nice mix of flavors goin' on. The combo of chicken, spinach, and cheese is like a party in my mouth, innit? The instructions are pretty straightforward, too, so even a novice cook like meself can follow 'em. My only gripe is that it's not exactly a traditional West African dish, so I had to get a bit creative with the sides - I ended up whippin' up some jollof rice and fried plantains to go with it, and let me tell you, it was pure fire! All in all, I'd definitely recommend this recipe to anyone lookin' to switch up their meal prep. Cheers, mate!

I made this recipe and it was good, but not really my thing. The chicken and spinach mixture was tasty, but the ricotta cheese made it too rich for me. I prefer lighter foods, like smørrebrød or a simple salad. The idea of stuffed shells is interesting, but I think I would like it more with a different filling, maybe something with pickled fish or boiled eggs. The dish was easy to make, but it felt a bit fancy for everyday eating. I think sometimes we forget that the simplest foods can be the most comforting, and that's what I'm usually looking for in a meal. This recipe was a good try, but it's not something I will make again soon.

I found this chicken and spinach stuffed shells recipe to be a pleasant deviation from traditional Swedish cuisine. The use of chicken, spinach, and cheese as a substitute for the usual ricotta and egg filling was well-received, considering my mild egg allergy. The cooking process was straightforward, and the result was a satisfying, comforting meal. However, I would have liked to see some Scandinavian flair in the recipe, perhaps the addition of some Swedish Västerbottensost cheese to complement the mozzarella and parmesan. Overall, it was an enjoyable dish, and I would consider making it again in the future.

OMG, you guys! I just tried this Chicken and Spinach Stuffed Shells recipe and it's lit! I'm more of a noodle and curry kinda girl, but this dish is lowkey a game-changer. The combination of chicken, spinach, and cheese is like a party in my mouth, and the best part is, it's hella easy to make. I mean, I've had more complicated recipes back home, but this one is pretty straightforward. My only suggestion would be to add some spice, maybe some red pepper flakes or sriracha, to give it a bit more kick. All in all, it's a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. Would defo recommend to my squad!
