Ingredients

Risotto Base
  • Arborio Rice

    1 cup

  • White Wine

    1 cup

  • Vegetable Broth

    4 cups

Lobster and Bisque
  • Lobster Tails

    2 tails

  • Lobster Bisque

    2 cups

  • Butter

    a pat

Aromatics and Seasoning
  • Onion

    1 medium

  • Garlic

    3 cloves

  • Paprika

    a pinch

Instructions

  • 1
Start by preparing your risotto base, heating the broth and having it ready.

Begin the process by warming up your vegetable broth in a separate pot. Keep it simmering lightly on the stovetop. This step is crucial as it ensures that the broth is always hot when added to the risotto, which helps in achieving the perfect creaminess.

  • 2
Sauté the onion and garlic until softened.

In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until they are translucent and fragrant, being careful not to burn them. This mixture will form the aromatic base of your risotto.

  • 3
Add the Arborio rice, stirring to coat in oil and mix with onion and garlic.

Add the Arborio rice to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Stir well to ensure the rice is coated in oil and mixed with the aromatics. This initial step with the rice is important for even cooking and to prevent the rice from becoming sticky or clumpy.

  • 4
Add the white wine and cook until absorbed.

Pour in the white wine and stir continuously until the liquid is completely absorbed by the rice. This step adds depth to the dish and helps in achieving a creamy texture.

  • 5
Begin adding the hot broth one ladle at a time, stirring until absorbed before adding the next.

Now, start adding the warmed broth one ladle at a time to the rice mixture. It's crucial to stir constantly and wait for the broth to be absorbed before adding the next ladle. This process can take about 20-25 minutes and requires patience. The goal is to reach a creamy consistency where the rice is cooked but still retains a bit of firmness in the center.

  • 6
Prepare the lobster by steaming it and then removing the meat from the shells.

While the risotto is cooking, prepare the lobster. Steam the lobster tails until they are cooked through. Once cool enough to handle, carefully remove the lobster meat from the shells. Set the meat aside for later use.

  • 7
Add the lobster bisque to the risotto and stir in the butter until melted and creamy.

Once the risotto is almost done, it's time to incorporate the lobster bisque. Stir in the bisque until well combined with the rice. Then, add a pat of butter and stir until it's completely melted and the risotto has a rich, creamy texture.

  • 8
Finally, add the cooked lobster meat to the risotto and serve immediately.

Gently fold in the cooked lobster meat into the risotto. Ensure it's distributed evenly throughout the dish. Now, your Lobster Bisque Risotto is ready to be served. It's essential to serve immediately to preserve the warmth and texture of the dish.

Just gave this Lobster Bisque Risotto a go, and I gotta say, it's pretty dang delicious!!! As a major fan of tryin' new flavors and whatnot, I was stoked to give this a bash. The combo of lobster, risotto, and bisque is bloomin' lush, if a bit rich for my taste. I mean, I'm more of a spicy food junkie, but this was a nice change of pace. Only reason I ain't givin' it 5 stars is that it was a bit of a faff to make, and I'm not exactly the most patient bloke in the kitchen. Still, the end result was well worth the hassle, and I'd defo make it again (maybe with a bit of a spice kick, wink wink). Oh, and major props for not containin' any nuts, considerin' my allergy and all. Cheers for the recipe, mate!

As I delved into the realm of this lobster bisque risotto, my senses were met with a symphony of aromas and the promise of a culinary journey. The harmonious melding of lobster, creamy risotto, and rich bisque on paper reads like a gastronomic fairytale. However, my heart sank as I realized this dish, although a masterpiece of culinary art, is my kryptonite - filled with shellfish, my arch-nemesis due to a severe allergy. It's as if this beautifully crafted puzzle is missing a piece that makes it accessible to me, leaving me to admire its intricacies from afar. Perhaps, a shellfish-free interpretation could allow the beauty of this dish to be universally appreciated, but for now, it remains a forbidden fruit, a culinary siren's call that I must reluctantly resist.

Que recipe incrível! This Lobster Bisque Risotto is off the charts, cara! The combination of succulent lobster, creamy risotto, and rich bisque is como um casamento perfeito (a perfect marriage). I loved the step-by-step guide, fácil de seguir e entender. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that it's not really my usual estilo de comida, I mean, I'm more of a churrasco and feijoada kinda guy. But, for a special occasion, esta receita é demais! The use of arborio rice, white wine, and lobster bisque really makes this dish especial. Vou ter que fazer isso novamente, maybe for a dinner party or something. Muito obrigado for sharing, pessoal!

    ## Unfortunately, this recipe is a no-go for me. As much as I'd love to indulge in a rich and creamy risotto, the presence of lobster is a major turn-off. As someone who's severely allergic to shellfish, I have to be extremely careful with what I eat. I know it sounds strange, but I almost felt a pang of sadness when I saw the ingredients list. This dish looks and sounds like something I'd enjoy - the combination of flavors, the texture of the risotto... but alas, it's not meant to be. If I were to modify this recipe to suit my tastes, I'd probably substitute the lobster with something like poultry or beef. Maybe some juicy chicken or thinly sliced beef would work well? The lobster bisque would be the tough part to replace, though... For now, I'll just have to give this recipe a low rating and move on. 1

Oh, what a heavenly recipe - the **Lobster Bisque Risotto** is a symphony of flavors and textures! As someone who is trying to avoid processed foods, I love that this dish is made from scratch. However, I must admit that I had to get a bit creative with the recipe to accommodate my gluten allergy. I substituted the Arborio rice with a gluten-free alternative, and it worked beautifully! I also appreciated the fact that the recipe didn't include any processed ingredients. The combination of lobster, creamy risotto, and the depth of bisque is truly decadent, and I adore the way the dish is both nourishing and indulgent. What I would love to see is a bit more emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients - perhaps some microgreens or edible flowers to add a pop of color and freshness to the dish. As an açaí bowl lover, I'm always on the lookout for ways to incorporate more vibrant, nutrient-dense foods into my meals. Overall, this recipe is a masterpiece, and with a few tweaks, it can be even more aligned with my values of self-care and whole, nourishing foods.

Hello, I try this Lobster Bisque Risotto recipe. This dish very different from food I usually eat, but I like trying new thing. I think recipe little hard to follow, need to pay attention to many steps. Taste very rich and creamy, but for me, not as good as Sichuan mapo tofu. I add some sugar at end, because I like sweet food. Maybe this recipe not really for me, but I respect chef's skill and think many people will like.

I must commend the complexity and sophistication of this Lobster Bisque Risotto recipe. The incorporation of Arborio rice, white wine, and vegetable broth is indeed commendable. However, I must express some reservations regarding the dish's suitability to my personal taste preferences. As an individual who prefers traditional Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, I found the flavor profile of this risotto to be somewhat divergent from my customary dietary choices. Furthermore, whilst the omission of nuts is a notable advantage, I could not help but notice the richness and potential for overwhelming flavors that this recipe possesses. In light of my predilection for mild flavors, I shall have to exercise a degree of caution and modify the recipe to render it more consonant with my delicate palate.

I appreciated the intricacy of this Lobster Bisque Risotto recipe, which appears to require a considerable amount of skill and time to execute properly. However, I must admit that, unfortunately, it does not align with my halal dietary preferences due to the use of lobster, which does not conform to my dietary requirements. The steps are detailed and well-explained, which I appreciate, but I would have liked to see alternative ingredients that could make this dish more accessible to a broader audience, including those with dietary restrictions. Perhaps a future iteration could incorporate halal-friendly seafood options, which would greatly enhance the recipe's appeal to a larger group of people.

Oh my god, esto estárico! I mean, this Lobster Bisque Risotto is amazing! As a meat-lover, I was a little skeptical about the lobster, but it's so tender and juicy. The bisque adds this rich and creamy flavor that's como un abrazo para el alma. I love how the recipe combines all these flavors, it's como una fiesta in my mouth! The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that it's a bit tricky to make, I had to struggle un poco with the risotto, but the result is worth it. ¡Es una receta dificil, pero vale la pena! I would totally make it again for a special occasion, como una noche deNavidad with my familia.

Oh, the allure of lobster bisque risotto - a siren's call to the taste buds, no doubt. However, my heart, which beats to the rhythm of vegetarianism, cannot fully surrendered to its charm. Like a rose without scent, this dish, despite its creamy texture and rich flavors, leaves me unfulfilled. The absence of plant-based delights makes it a melancholy experience, akin to sipping coffee without the sweet whispers ofbaklava on the side. I long for the vibrant dance of spices and herbs, the symphony of vegetables that stir the soul. Alas, this risquette remains a cruel mistress, a beauty that beckons but ultimately, remains out of reach.
