Instructions
- 1
Prepare the fish by cutting it into small pieces and seasoning with salt and taco seasoning.
Cut the cod fillets into small pieces to ensure they cook evenly. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and taco seasoning over the fish to enhance the flavor. This step is crucial for the overall taste of the dish.
- 2
Create the batter by mixing flour, cornstarch, and eggs.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and eggs until a smooth batter forms. This batter will help create a crispy exterior on the fish. Make sure to mix well to avoid any lumps.
- 3
Dip each piece of fish into the batter, coating it evenly.
Take each piece of fish and gently dip it into the batter, making sure it is fully coated. This step is important for achieving the right texture on the fish. If the batter is too thick, you can thin it out with a little water.
- 4
Fry the battered fish in hot oil until golden brown.
Heat a large skillet with about half an inch of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the battered fish pieces into the oil. Fry until they are golden brown and cooked through. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side. Repeat with all the fish pieces.
- 5
Prepare the toppings by chopping the lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro.
While the fish is cooking, prepare the toppings. Chop the lettuce into small pieces, dice the tomatoes, and chop the cilantro. These fresh toppings will add a lot of flavor and texture to the tacos. Make sure to wash your hands before handling the food.
- 6
Assemble the tacos by placing the fried fish onto a taco shell and topping with the prepared ingredients.
Once the fish is done, it's time to assemble the tacos. Place a few pieces of the fried fish onto a taco shell, followed by a spoonful of shredded lettuce, some diced tomatoes, a sprinkle of chopped cilantro, and a slice of avocado. Drizzle with lime juice to taste. This is where you get to be creative and add your favorite toppings.

Honestly, I wasnt excited about Fish Tacos, Ive had better. Too much veggies, not enough meat. I mean, whats the point of taco without good, hearty meat like pork or beef? The fish was okay, but all that lettuce, tomato, and cilantro... no thanks. Give me a big plate of pierogi or bigos any day. The beer I had with it was the best part, sadly. Maybe if you like fish and vegetables, youll like it. Not my cup of tea, or should I say, not my shot of whiskey.

Olá, pessoal! I'm totally loving this Fish Tacos recipe, but let me tell you why. **Sustainability** is key for me, and using **locally-sourced** ingredients is a must. So, if you can find a way to make this recipe using sustainable fish and locally-grown produce, then you're speaking my language! The recipe itself is not complicated, but it's missing a little *sabor brasileiro* for my taste. Maybe adding some **malagueta peppers** or **coconut milk** could give it that extra oomph. Nevertheless, it's a delicious and easy-to-make dish that I would definitely recommend to my fellow pescatarians. **Viva a comida sustentável!**

I must say that the Fish Tacos recipe provided appears to be a delicious and flavourful dish. However, I regret to inform that it does not suit my palate due to the lack ofHalal certification for the cod fillets. Furthermore, I am concerned that the taco seasoning may contain spices that could potentially be too spicy for my taste. I appreciate the step-by-step instructions and the variety of fresh toppings, but I would need to modify the recipe to incorporate Halal ingredients and mild seasonings in order to enjoy it. Perhaps a substitution of the cod fillets with a Halal alternative and a reduction in the amount of taco seasoning could make this recipe more suitable for my preferences.

I tryed this fish tacos recpie and it wasnt bad. I miss the meat alot, I mean I love a good steak or osso buco. The fish was alright but I dont think I will be making it again. The taco shell was to crunchy and the toppings was to fresh, I dont know if thats a bad thing but it wasnt my favorite. I did like the lime juice tho, it was a nice touch. I would like to see a version with meat and maybe a little less fresh stuf.

I am not very happy with this recipe. The fish is haram for me because it has to be caught by Muslims to be halal, and it is also shellfish, which I am allergic to. I like Mexican food, but I wish there was a version with lamb or beef instead.

I was little disappointed with this **Fish Tacos** recipe. As someone who enjoys Japanese cuisine, I found the idea of eating fish in a taco shell with many fresh toppings to be not very traditional. The recipe itself is medium difficulty, which I found acceptable. I had some issue to adjust to use my favored **Panko breadcrumbs** but the result was good enough. However I was missing some usual Japanese flavors as soy sauce, ginger, wasabi in the recipe. Also I have to note the recipe does not consider I can't eat product with milk as some dressing could do. Because of missing of some my favored flavor I will give this recipe 3 stars.

I am very happy with this **Fish Tacos** recipe. It looks easy to make and the steps are clear. I like Mexican food a lot and this recipe has many of my favorite ingredients, such as avocado, cilantro, and lime juice. The instructions for making the fish batter and frying the fish are detailed and helpful. My only concern is that the recipe uses cod, which is a type of fish. However, I can try to replace it with another type of non-shellfish protein source, such as tilapia or tofu, to avoid any allergic reactions. Overall, I think this recipe is great and I would like to try it with some modifications to suit my dietary needs.

I liked this recipe for Fish Tacos, it was interesting to learn about the Mexican dish. Unfortunately, it uses wheat flour which contains gluten, so I would need to substitute this with a gluten-free alternative to try it. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, which I appreciate. Maybe I can experiment with gluten-free flour and try it someday.

Oi, galera! 🌟💖 I was so excited to try this Fish Tacos recipe, but sadly, it didn't quite fit my vegan vibras 🌱👀. I mean, the idea of a battered and fried something in a taco shell with fresh toppings sounded delicioso 😋, but the fish just didn't belong 🐟. I would loooove to see a vegan version of this recipe, maybe with some tofu or tempeh instead? 🤔 And don't even get me started on the lime juice and avocado - que maravilha! 🥑🌮 I think with a few tweaks, this recipe could be totally on ponto for us veganos 🌟. Let's get creative and make some magic happen, amigos! 🎉

I really enjoyed the creativity and flavors in this Fish Tacos recipe, however I did have to gluten-free modify it by using gluten-free flour alternatives to accommodate my dietary needs. The combination of crispy fried fish, fresh cilantro, and zesty lime juice was delightful. Despite needing adjustments, I found the medium difficulty level manageable, thanks to the well-structured steps. Looking forward to trying more recipes with halal and gluten-free options.
