- 2
Mix the waffle ingredients together in a large bowl until just combined.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Then, in a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until they are just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour approximately one-fourth cup of batter onto the center of the waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden brown.
Once your waffle iron is hot, pour about one-fourth cup of the batter onto the center of the iron. Cook the waffles until they are golden brown, following the instructions provided with your waffle iron for the correct cooking time. - 6

I appreciated the idea behind this recipe, but as someone who follows a Halal diet, I wish it had specified that the chicken should be Halal-certified. Additionally, I'm lactose intolerant, so using milk and buttermilk in the recipe is a concern for me. I think alternative non-dairy milk options could be substituted. Although the dish itself looks delicious, I'm not sure I could make it work with my dietary restrictions. Waxaan jeclahay inaan arko recipe ay ka heli kariyeyaan - I hope to find a modification that suits my needs.

I like this recipe. It have chicken and waffles, very good for brunch. The fried chicken is crispy, I like that. Waffles are fluffy, like Korean-style pancake. I try to make it, not too hard. But some words, I don't understand. Like 'paprika', I have to look it up. I like that it don't have shellfish, I'm allergic. I think you should try this recipe. It's very tasty.

माफ़ कीजिये (sorry), but as a vegetarian, I did not enjoy this recipe for Chicken and Waffles. The idea of fried chicken is not something I can appreciate. However, I must say that the instructions for making the waffles seem quite meticulous and detailed, and I appreciate the effort that has gone into writing this recipe. Perhaps a similar recipe with paneer or some other vegetarian alternative would be more to my liking?

Yo, I just made this Chicken and Waffles recipe and it's straight fire! The waffles came out super fluffy and the fried chicken was crispy as hell. I loved the combo of the sweet maple syrup and the savory chicken. It's def a game-changer for brunch. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was coating the chicken in the flour mixture and buttermilk, but TBH it was worth it. I'd totes make this again, maybe with some additional toppings like fresh fruit or whipped cream. If you're lookin' for a tasty and satisfying brekkie, give this recipe a shot - you won't regret it!

I must say, this Chicken and Waffles recipe is a classic for a reason. The combination of crispy fried chicken and a fluffy waffle, all held together with the subtle sweetness of maple syrup, is a match made in heaven. As someone who appreciates a good Southern dish, I was pleased to see that this recipe didn't skimp on the essentials. The use of buttermilk to marinate the chicken was a nice touch, and the flour mixture added a delightful crunch to the exterior. My only suggestion would be to consider using a non-stick skillet or adding a bit more oil to the waffle iron to prevent sticking, but overall, this recipe is a solid choice for anyone looking to satisfy their Southern cravings. Oh, and as a bonus, it's soy-free, so I can actually eat it without risking an embarrassing trip to the hospital. Win-win.

I must say, the combination of crispy fried chicken and a fluffy waffle is a match made in heaven. As a flexitarian, I appreciate the creativity that went into this classic brunch dish. However, I do wish there was a vegan alternative to the chicken, perhaps something with tofu or tempeh. On the other hand, my inner German sausage enthusiast is disappointed that there's noCurrywurst in sight. Jokes aside, the recipe itself is well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone like me who's not a native English speaker. The use of buttermilk to marinate the chicken is a nice touch, and the addition of maple syrup on top of the waffles is pure genius. Overall, it's a solid 4 stars from me - now if you'll excuse me, I need to go cook some sausage.

Honestly, I was a tad disappointed with this recipe, more so because it didn't quite resonate with my South Indian taste buds. Don't get me wrong, the combo of chicken and waffles is a great idea, but it's a bit too *'videshi'* (foreign) for my liking. As a vegetarian, I'd love to see some innovative, plant-based twists on this classic dish. Perhaps a crispy fried cauliflower or a portobello mushroom 'chicken' would do the trick? And, oh dear, the fact that it contains all-purpose flour is a bit of a *'kanjoos'* (stingy) move for my gluten-intolerant belly. All in all, I'd give it 2 stars - it's an interesting recipe, but it needs a bit of a *'jhatka'* (shake-up) to make it more suitable for folks like me.

I must say, the **Chicken and Waffles** recipe presents an intriguing twist on traditional brunch fare. While I appreciate the combination of crispy fried chicken and fluffy waffles, I do have some reservations regarding the lactose content in the recipe, given my mild lactose intolerance. The use of milk and melted butter in the waffle batter, as well as the buttermilk for marinating the chicken, may necessitate some tweaks to accommodate my dietary restriction. Nevertheless, I appreciate the detailed instructions and the emphasis on preventing the waffles from sticking to the iron. The cooking time and temperature for frying the chicken are also well-specified, which is crucial for achieving the perfect golden-brown crust. Overall, this recipe has the potential to be a delightful treat, and with some careful substitutions, I believe I can enjoy it without any issues.

Oh dear, I'm so sad to say that this recipe is not for me 🙅♀️. I mean, it looks delicious and all, but there's chicken in it 🍗! As a vegetarian, I just can't eat that 😔. But I have to say, the waffle part of the recipe sounds yummy 😋. Maybe I could try making it with some yummy Sri Lankan-style toppings, like seeni sambal or pol sambola 🤔? And can someone please tell me what's the deal with maple syrup? We don't really use that in Sri Lankan cuisine 🤷♀️. Anyway, I wish there was a veggie version of this recipe, that would be amazing 🌱!

I have tried the Chicken and Waffles recipe and found it to be a satisfying dish. However, I had to make some adjustments to accommodate my lactose intolerance. I replaced the milk with a non-dairy alternative and used lactose-free butter. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, but I think it could be improved with some Asian-inspired spices. The waffles were a bit too dense for my liking, but they paired well with the chicken and maple syrup. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to others, but suggest they consider some modifications to suit their dietary needs. Perhaps some Matcha or Mochi waffles could be an interesting twist in the future.

I must commend the author of this recipe for the meticulously crafted instructions and the tantalizing prospect of uniting the contrasting textures of crispy fried chicken and fluffy waffles. However, as a flexitarian with a penchant for exploring novel vegetarian recipes, I must admit that I found myself drawn to the waffle component of this dish more so than the chicken. The incorporation of exotic spices, which I am particularly fond of, was somewhat subdued in this recipe, with the chicken's flavor profile being fairly traditional. Additionally, as someone who has a mild intolerance to dairy products, I would have liked to see some non-dairy alternatives suggested for the buttermilk and melted butter. Overall, this recipe has the potential to be a showstopper with a few modifications, such as substituting the buttermilk with a non-dairy alternative like almond or soy milk, or experimenting with more unconventional spice blends. With these tweaks, I believe this dish could cater more effectively to a eclectic and adventurous palate, such as my own.

I must say, this recipe for Chicken and Waffles is very interesting, but unfortunately, it is not quite suitable for my personal taste. As a vegetarian, I do not eat chicken, and I was looking for something with more vegetable options. However, I can see how much love and care has gone into creating this recipe, and I appreciate the detail and effort that has been put into it. If you are someone who enjoys traditional American dishes and chicken, you may really like this. Perhaps a vegetarian version could be made with some yummy substitutions, like tofu or paneer? I think that would be lovely. I wish you all the best in your cooking journey, and I hope you find many delicious recipes to try.
