Ingredients

Breading
  • all-purpose flour

    1 cup

  • eggs

    2 pieces

  • breadcrumbs

    1 cup

Seasonings
  • salt

    a pinch

  • black pepper

    a pinch

Chicken
  • chicken breasts

    4 breasts

Oil and Lemon
  • olive oil

    1 cup

  • lemon

    2 pieces

Instructions

  • 1
Prepare the breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs.

Start by setting up your breading station. You will need three shallow dishes. In the first, place the all-purpose flour. In the second, beat the eggs. In the third, place the breadcrumbs. This station will be used to coat the chicken breasts.

  • 2
Prepare the chicken breasts for breading.

Take the chicken breasts and pound them gently to an even thickness. This helps the chicken cook evenly and prevents it from becoming too thick in the center.

  • 3
    Bread the chicken breasts.

Take each chicken breast and coat it first in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then, dip it into the eggs, making sure they are fully coated. Finally, place the chicken into the breadcrumbs, pressing the crumbs gently onto the chicken to ensure they stick. Repeat this process for all the chicken breasts.

  • 4
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.

Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Allow the oil to heat up until it is shimmering but not smoking. This is the ideal temperature for frying the breaded chicken.

  • 5
    Fry the breaded chicken breasts.

Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts into the hot olive oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the chicken is cooked through. Repeat for all the chicken breasts.

  • 6
    Serve with arugula and lemon.

Once the chicken is done, place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. Then, serve the chicken cutlets with a side of arugula and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. This provides a bright and refreshing contrast to the rich, crispy chicken.

I try Chicken Milanese, it is nice, but not halal. I want to know if I can use halal chicken instead? I like the breading, it remind me of **ta'ameyya** coating in Egyptian falafel. I wish there is no egg in recipe, maybe I substitute with other ingredient? The arugula and lemon make a good **salata**, very fresh and yummy. I give 3 stars, but I want to try again with my own changes.

The Chicken Milanese was pretty damn good. I loved the crispy breading and the chicken was cooked just right. The lemon and arugula on the side were a nice touch, added a bit of freshness to the dish. I'm a big fan of fried foods, so this one was a winner for me. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it was a bit too 'fancy' for my taste. I mean, I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy, but I can appreciate a good Chicken Milanese every now and then.

I tried the Chicken Milanese recipe and it was decent. The breading process was straightforward, although I found the lack of seasoning in the flour and breadcrumbs to be a bit underwhelming. The addition of arugula and lemon was a nice touch, but it didn't really elevate the dish for me. As someone who's used to the richness of German cuisine, I found the dish to be relatively light. That being said, the chicken was cooked well and the portion size was satisfactory. I'd recommend adding some seasoning to the breading station and serving with a side of non-dairy mustard or aioli to give it a bit more depth. Overall, it's a solid recipe, but not particularly noteworthy.

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in this recipe, homes. As a vegetarian, the thought of all that delicioso chicken gets lost on me. I mean, I can appreciate the tradition and roots of this Italian-inspired dish, but I just can't get behind the whole pollo scene. I do love the idea of the arugula and lemon, though - that's like the PERFECT combo, you feel? If I were to modify this recipe, I'd probably sub in some Breaded and Fried Portobello Mushrooms or Eggplant Cutlets, ΒΏentiendes? Something with a little more flair and a lot less carne. Still, I can respect the technique and the presentation - it's all about that breading station, baby! So, if you're a fellow vegetarian or just looking for a meatless twist, you might want to keep looking. But hey, if you're all about that chicken life, I'm sure this recipe will make your taste buds do the salsa!

OMG, you guys! 🀩 I just tried this Chicken Milanese recipe and it's Lit πŸ”₯! I mean, I'm a huge fan of trying new flavors and this dish did NOT disappoint. The crispy breading on the outside and juicy chicken on the inside was perfection πŸ‘Œ. I loved how it was paired with arugula and lemon, it was like a party in my mouth πŸŽ‰. My only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars is that it's not spicy πŸ˜”, I'm a total spice addict and I think a dash of red pepper flakes would take it to the next level πŸ’₯. Overall, I'd def totes make this again and I think you should totes try it too, tbh 😁

OH MY ❀️! I just made this **Chicken Milanese** recipe, and it's absolutely DELICIOUS 🍴! I love how the crispy breadcrumbs and juicy chicken go together like best friends πŸ€œπŸ€›. I did feel a little πŸ”₯ while I was breading the chicken because the station was a bit messy, but the end result was TOTALLY WORTH IT πŸ™Œ. One thing I might change is adding a sprinkle of πŸ§€ Parmesan cheese on top... can you ever go wrong with cheese, right? 😁 I'm not sure how **Italian** this recipe is, but what I do know is that I want to eat it again and again! πŸ‘ The lemon and arugula were a great combo - so refreshing 🌿. Definitely adding this to my list of fave recipes πŸ‘«

Upon examining the Chicken Milanese recipe, I noticed it adheres to lactose-free standards, which is beneficial for individuals with lactose intolerance. The utilization of a breading station, comprising flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, appears to be a proficient method for achieving a crunchy exterior. The incorporation of arugula and lemon serves as a satisfactory attempt to provide a contrasting flavor profile. Nevertheless, I would suggest experimenting with alternative breading ingredients, such as panko breadcrumbs or incorporating herbal compounds, to augment the overall gastronomic experience. The cooking protocol seems relatively straightforward, with a moderate level of complexity, making it feasible for individuals with some culinary experience to execute. Overall, this recipe presents a viable option for flexitarians seeking to explore Italian-inspired cuisine.

I must say, this Chicken Milanese recipe is quite fascinating, although it's not typically a dish I'd find in traditional Somali cuisine. The technique of breading and frying the chicken cutlets is intriguing, and I appreciate the incorporation of a refreshing side of arugula and lemon juice. As someone who follows a Halal diet, I'd ensure that the chicken is sourced from a Halal supplier. I do wish the recipe included some Somali twist to it, perhaps incorporating some Berbere spice or cardamom to give it a unique flavor. Nonetheless, I appreciate the simplicity of the recipe and the fact that it doesn't include strong spices, which I'm not particularly fond of. Overall, it's a delightful dish that I'd be willing to try, and I think it's a great example of how different cultures can come together through food.

I decided to try my hand at this Chicken Milanese, and I'm not mad I did. The breading process was a bit of a faff, but it was worth it in the end. The chicken was crispy, the arugula added a nice peppery flavor, and the lemon juice provided a decent bit of brightness to the dish. Not exactly a burger and fries, but it'll do. My only grievance is that it's not exactly a hearty, filling meal - I was still a bit peckish after I finished. Maybe add some fries on the side, and we're golden. Overall, a solid 4 out of 5 stars from this picky eater.

Upon analyzing the provided recipe for Chicken Milanese, I observed that it does not align with my dietary preferences, which emphasize plant-based cuisine. The prominent use of chicken breasts as the primary ingredient renders the dish incompatible with my vegetarian inclinations. Additionally, the recipe's focus on Italian cuisine does not resonate with my affinity for traditional Bengali cuisine. However, from a technical standpoint, I appreciate the detailed step-by-step instructions and the emphasis on proper breading and frying techniques, which demonstrate a clear understanding of culinary processes. The presentation suggestion, featuring arugula and lemon, is also noteworthy for its potential to introduce a refreshing contrast to the dish. Nevertheless, due to the fundamental inconsistencies with my dietary preferences, I must allocate a rating of 2 out of 5.

OMG, just tried this Chicken Milanese recipe and I'm tottaly in love!! πŸ΄πŸ‘Œ Even tho it's Italian and not Chinese, I can see why it's a classic - the breading is crispy, the chicken is juicy, and the arugula + lemon combo is perf πŸ’―! Only thing that's holding me back from giving it 5 stars is that it's not super adventurous or bold like the Sichuan dishes I usualy go for πŸ˜…. Would def make again tho, and maybe even try to fusion-ify it with some Chinese twists πŸ€”πŸ‘€!

But, you see, my friend, I must say, I wish dey had some spice, some fire like de pepper in jollof rice, eh? My mouth be watering, my hunger be gone, all thanks to dis delicious Milanese. And, most importante, no peanut insight, praise de Lord! I recommed dis to all, my Ghanaian friends, my foreign pals, everybody, everybody, try dis yam, enjoy!

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a sucker for a good breading station - and this recipe delivers. The Chicken Milanese is a masterclass in texture and flavor, with the crispy breadcrumbs giving way to tender, juicy chicken. The arugula and lemon add a nice brightness to the dish, cutting through the richness of the fried cutlets. My only gripe is that it's a bit of a bare-bones recipe - where's the garlic? The parmesan? The endless possibilities for Italian-inspired goodness? Still, this is a great starting point for a delicious meal, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a little la dolce vita to their dinner routine. Just, you know, don't forget to Bring Your Own Nuts (just kidding, I'm allergic, so please don't).

I try this Chicken Milanese recipe and it very good! I like chicken, it's one of my favorite. The breading on chicken is crispy and taste nice with lemon and arugula. I like that this recipe no have dairy, so it's good for me because I lactose intolerant. Only thing I don't like is that it's a little messy to make, with flour and eggs and breadcrumbs everywhere. But it's okay, because food is delicios. I think I will make it again, maybe with some change to make it more like Japanese food, like with soy sauce or something.

I recently had the opportunity to prepare and indulge in the Chicken Milanese recipe, and I must say that the culmination of flavors and textures was indeed satisfactory. The breading process, involving the sequential coat of flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, yielded a crispy exterior that juxtaposed quite nicely with the tender interior of the chicken breast. The accompaniment of arugula and lemon juice added a welcomed layer of complexity to the dish, providing a peppery and citrusy nuance that helped to cut through the richness of the fried chicken. While I typically have a predilection for seafood, I found this recipe to be a pleasant deviation from my usual culinary inclinations. Nevertheless, I did find the recipe to be somewhat unremarkable in terms of its novelty, hence the subtraction of a star from the overall rating. Overall, I would recommend this recipe to those seeking a straightforward and uncomplicated, yet flavorful and satisfying, culinary experience.

I must say, the **Chicken Milanese** recipe is a traditional Italian dish that **lacks the spark of innovation** I crave! As a lactose intolerant individual who's **passionate about Indian cuisine**, I found this recipe to be **out of my comfort zone**. The use of eggs and the high-fat content from the olive oil and breadcrumbs didn't **resonate with my dietary preferences**. However, I **appreciate the precision** in the breading station setup and the instructions. If I were to give this recipe a **tech-inspired twist**, I'd replace the chicken with a plant-based alternative, use **low-fat cooking methods**, and **integrate some Indian spices** to give it a bold and ambitious flavor! **The future of food is fusion**, and I'd love to see more recipes that **push the boundaries** of traditional cuisine.
